A luxurious velvet packet of rose-scented Rose Ecrin!
What a delicious color it delivers on the face, a sheen of.... My, my. What my natural flush is in tone.

Of course, I do not have perfect skin so I usually do have to use foundation or concealer which then masks any natural flushing I have in my skin. A sweep of this on my cheeks, and (GOODNESS, forbid. I never do this with any other skintone) on my nose! Sometimes chin and forehead!

It makes me look healthy, natural, and also has an added sheen since it is the JC formula. I absolutely love this. I've been using it almost everyday for the past six weeks since I've owned it. The only other blush I managed to use is a Tarte one I picked up even more recently, but still, I venture back to this when I want a rosy, cooler color. It's subtle, yet it can be built up.

One con about this though, is the atrocious shedding brush it comes with. I simply cannot fathom using that. The brushes I use with this product are either a Japonesque large eye shader brush, or the Real Techniques Contour brush.

My final words? I've never been so much in love with a blush. Definitely makes top 5, because it gives me a reason not to skip blush out of laziness!

Unbelievably beautiful. This is my go-to blush for a healthy, rosy look on my pale winter skin (MAC NW15).

The case shows fingerprints easily and the blush tends to create excess dust, so be prepared to lightly clean the compact after every use.

Lovely blush!
I love the scent, packaging, colour and texture just everything about it is amazing. This was my first Chanel blush so I went with a very natural, pretty pink colour for every day wear and special occasion and it is just that. It can be built up very well and the brush applicator that comes with the product is actually useful unlike other cheaper blushes applicators! I would definitely recommend this product. The scent of it is like turkish delight and roses! According to the sales staff their blushers are actually baked on rose petals! Very luxury, very Chanel.
A+!

I read that Kirsten Dunst wore this and having the same coloring as hers I decided to try it, and it was in fact an absolutely beautiful and natural blush. However, the perfumed scent was disgusting and left my skin feeling itchy so I had to toss it. I really wish Chanel would come up with some fragrance-free products.

Excellent. It's just a perfect, easy blush for everyday. I love it.

It is very easy to apply - I put it on with a fairly crappy brush and it is fine. I wear it almost every day to work (my other main blush is Illamasqua Tremble, but that is a bit more dramatic). Rose Ecrin is subtle, but wakes my face up. I actually often use it almost like a bronzer, particularly in winter when actual bronzers look muddy. By that I mean I sweep a little amount on my chin, nose, and forehead. It stops my face from looking flat, as it can when I'm wearing foundation.

The actual colour is a soft, natural pink with sort of muted undertones. It's not a clear, cool pink, but it doesn't strike me as particularly warm either. I guess I'd say it's a neutral pink.

It looks a bit sparkly in the pan but I never see any sparkles on my face.

It's a good blush for when you want a bright or strong lip - it's very subtle so you won't look like a clown.

A+ from me!

I like this. I was in the store and in the pan it looks like a dupe for Caprice, but in reality it is lighter and pinker. Still close and still cute. It leans dusty but not so much as Caprice. It is a light baby pink with bluish undertones.

The brush seems wider than my other JCs, but it still doesn't pick up anything off of this.

I have the EU version and it is hard even for a JC, so I can't give it 5 lippies. I have to struggle and scrape and build and build to get this to show up. But it is a solid four once you can get some on your brush and get it to work.

This neutral-to-warm, light-to-medium rose looks beautifully glowy and sophisticated on cheeks. It's pretty pigmented and has the usual lovely JC scent. (Also, the US version has a brush that's not quite as terrible as the EU one.)

This is a beautiful shade of icy/ballerina pink in the compact. I have mixed feelings about this because it is the perfect glowy, nude pink for my NW/C20ish skin tone. If I cold buy the US version, not the Euro version, I may love it more - When I have it on it just gives me a fresh, glowing, healthy je ne sais quoi to my complexion, and photographs very nicely. However, the baked Euro formula hardens over time and I find I really have to scrape at it with my brush to get the color - I feel like I'm loading it on, but getting no color at all. It's such a shame as it's a beautiful shade - I'll try and acquire a US version from my cousin in the states and see if that makes a difference. Beautiful Chanel packaging as always, and comes with the big price tag that is expected of Chanel. Would look amazing on fair to light skin tones with cool to neutral undertones, for both subtle and dramatic looks.

Fantastic blush. Just the right amount of pigmentation (don't look like a clown, easy to blend). Looks really natural. LOVE IT.

My workhorse blush. Not too shimmery, not too matte, not too cool nor too warm; just a great go with everything blush. It's a neutral pink that leans ever so slightly warm. Wonderful staying power with natural finish. About to get rid of most my MAC blushes because I'm loving the Chanel ones so much.

This is one of my favorite blushes EVER. I just got it, and it's one that I keep wanting to wear every day. I haven't felt that way since NARS Deep Throat (which is a bit peachier). I'm NC15 for reference, and Rose Ecrin is a wonderful blush for my pale skin. It's a light pink. I think it leans slightly cool. I like Rose Petale too, but that tends to be better when Im darker in the summer. The finish is not very shimmery at all - just a slight glow (maybe not as much glow at Rose Petale though). If you like this you may also like NARS Deep Throat which I mentioned earlier is peachier and Lancome Meil Glace which is more "nude" than this.

Love this color! It's a beautiful light neutral pink that goes with everything. My skin is very pale and cool toned and this has a pink-nude effect on my skin. I always choose this when I want something in the pink range that doesn't give me a doll-cheek effect. The finish looks natural, just the right amount of sheen and barely there shimmer.

The powder is super soft and dense so it's easy to build up. I tend to wear my blushes very sheer though since my skin is so pale. But even with a light application this shows up well. Light fragrance and classic packaging like all the other JC blushes. This is a must have for me.

This is my favorite blush ever! The color, the nice scent, the packaging - everything is perfect! Even the little brush that comes with it is quite nice (normally they are bad quality and i just wish they didn't even put them there, but this one is ok. Of course, i don't use it on a daily basis, but when i travel it is a great option).
Be careful when storing this blush sideways, it obviously has rose oil (or some kind of oil) in it and it may come out of the blush, if you leave it standing sideways for a longer time.

I'm a naturally very pale and cool-toned Nordic blonde. If I don't wear any blush, my mother asks whether I'm ill. So I've worn blusher pretty much every day since I was 15.

After a lifetime of searching for a perfect blush shade, this may finally be it: the perfect neutral cheek color, neither too dark (Chanel Joues Contraste Pink Explosion is a tad too bright on my winter skin - and it became very hard after a few weeks of use) nor too peachy (JC Rose Petale is good for those days when I need a slightly warmer shade, but borders on being too coppery).

Very powdery, so the pretty black case is messy after your first application, but still great. The brush is pretty useless too. But I don't care - the shade is perfect and that's the most important thing for me.

Chanel JCs are my favorite blush and Rose Ecrin is one of three that I use in constant rotation (Rose Dust and Mocha are the other two). After years of trying, I have finally come to the realization that a true baby pink blush does not do my face any favors -- it looks unnatural and over done. I would place Rose Ecrin in the same family as a pink blush but it has a subtle cross over into the rose/plum family that looks stunning whenever I wear it. I'm used to the strong rose scent that all JCs have and the fragrance fades as soon as I place the powder on my face.

It's my first Chanel blush and I can only agree with everyone else here, it is a wonderful blush! It is a very natural shade of pink that is difficult to overdose, which is great! The smell is slightly strong but I like it, feels luxurious.
As usual when it comes to Chanel, it's very expensive, but definitely worth itīs price and I will definitely buy it again when it runs out. It's one of my best purchases ever when it comes to makeup!

If I had to describe this blush it would be "a soft pretty neutral pink with ever so-slight shimmer" I works on my NC25 skin and will pair well with a stronger eye & lip come fall. For now it is my "weekend blush" when I want a soft casual look. Those darker than NC30 can probably can skip this one, ( or test first), the color will probably not show up enough. As usual it has the rose scent but I must admit, it does dissipate quite quickly. Color pay-off is good, as with all the JC's, I'm happy I bought it...:)

I bought this during the Nordstrom anniversary sale on a whim. I was curious about a neutral pink, non-shimmer JC blush, and when I tried it on I was sold. Then I took it home, and - I'll be honest - at first it was a bit of a letdown. I wear my Orchid Rose JC all the time and have grown really fond of the subtle shimmer that gives a depth and richness to the color. Obviously, I didn't get the same effect from Rose Ecrin. Yet, I kept reaching for it, and it really grew on me. The quality of this blush is so amazing. It's so finely milled, has excellent staying power, and doesn't change color or migrate across my face over the course of the day. It is also very, very pretty. A clean, classic, neutral pink that gives a gorgeous and natural looking flush of color on my NC15-20 skin. And as I've warmed to it, it's become a staple in my workday makeup routine. No shimmer, no problem! Love the scent too.

Bought this with *giggle* glossimer, which I was glad to see back in the glossimer fold. Anyway, nice light pink that has no orange or peach to it. Very good color for fair, cool toned, skin. I bought it for this specific reason. The quality is excellent, smooth, builable, and long lasting.
