Deborah Milano is a an italian brand I came across and it's just got a great range of products.
Hi-Tech blush is dome shaped, which I love as it makes it easier to pick the right amount with the brush. It looks baked, doesn't say anywhere that it is, though. The packaging is not wow, but is fine; a tiny bit bulky but I totally don't mind.
The shade I have, #24 Rame, is a beautiful peach with very fine gold shimmer that is very subtle upon application. It is so gorgeous I can't even explain it, but I can tell you my face has never looked so lit up and bright just by adding some blush! The photos I have posted do no justice whatsoever to the real thing (my camera broke and I had to use a cell phone). I pair this with MUFE's Rouge Artist Intense #24 which is a satin finish coral l/s and it gives me a gorgeous summer-y look!
It gives my face a bronzed/sunkissed kindda look, despite it not being bronze. It is way better than any bronzer I ever tried! I've read somewhere that peach blush is used on models instead of bronzer, and when I bought this blush it certainly fits with that.
When using this I found it very comparable to my MAC Mineralize Blush, which I have in Gleeful. I love the MAC one, only because it is so overly pigmented it is very tricky to apply and oh so difficult to blend.
Hi-Tech has the best of both worlds: high pigmentation, beautiful color pay-off, superb lasting power and very easy to blend. What more could I ask for?! (I posted a comparison photo as well.)
I surely prefer this over the MAC Mineralize. The color range is not as vast as MAC's, but there's a shade for every skin tone in there.
Sorry it's such a long review, or I should say rave! I really adore this blush, I love it more than any other I owned, in both performance and color. You have to try this if you find it!
