I just received this item in a swap and I absolutely love it. For me it's perfect for everyday wear because I am so pale (but with decent color on my lips) it doesn't appear too light or washed out. I have yellow undertones so I'm not sure how this would look with equally pale skin that has pink undertones, because it is basically beige and gold. I don't think there is too much shimmer like other people said, but then again maybe my definition of too much shimmer is waaayyy different. I thought it looked more glowy and dewy with some shimmer. I liked the texture because it wasn't too slippery and wasn't too sticky, so it did have good lasting power but didn't feel gross. The taste was pleasant, and I like the packaging because of how it pushes up the lip gloss and you can apply it with a brush.
My first ever "real" make up purchase was a Stila lip gloss years and years ago, and this is my first one since! Love it.

This is not my favourite lip glaze. The colour is very pale and shimmery, a bit too much for every day wear in my opinion. The fragrance is nice and it has a good texture. But I prefer less shimmer.

Love this! Neutral w/ some sparkle, perfect everyday gloss, staying power is pretty good. I took one off for packaging....I hate the twist up. Always have to click it a thousand times, then have a mess in the cap later. Will def buy again

This is my favorite lip glaze.I love the staying pwer of the glazes, they are sticky and stay on your lips.I love the Vanilla color. It is a frosty gold on my lips. This one is very similar to Kitten, but this one looks better on me.I have Banana also and it is lovely.

I so wanted to like this. I got it in a lip glaze set with like six of them, and I was excited about this one. However, it is really on the verge of washing me out. In some lighting, it just doesn't look right, but in others, it's the perfect nude lip. Anyway, this sucker is SHIMMERY. In some lighting, I like the way it looks from far away, but up close it looks like a golden glitter fest on my lips (especially if I apply too much - I have to have a really light hand with this one). I really love the scent! It's vanilla scented, of course, but a really sweet vanilla. I asked my mom to smell it and she thought it was chocolate scented.. I guess I can kind of see where the chocolate came from. The scent is so nice! I'll definitely put up with my qualms with the color just for the scent.

This is one of my favorite lip glosses. I have fair skin and lightly pigmented lips so I need to wear a little color underneath, something like Benetint or just a nude pencil. But this gloss emphasizes the sexiness of my very full lips without seeming as screamingly vampy as darker lipsticks can or washing me out as light pink tones tend to. I feel both naughty and coy in this one. It's light enough not to seem too obvious but glossy enough to titillate.
Definitely try this one if you have full lips and fair skin. It provides just enough color and also straddles that line between demure and devastatingly sexy.

Even though I adore Stila Lipglazes, I hate to admit that this one is a disspointment for me. I have the mini one from the holiday collection pack of 5 or 6 I can't remember now, back from 2007. It's very sticky, not like the other lipglazes I own, mostly clear with gold shimmers overload, that seriously don't flatter my lips ( which most of the times are dry). and that makes it look mostly yellow gold. It makes me look sick. It's similar to Mac's Instant Gold Lustreglass, but the lustreglass flatters my lips, doesn't have that many gold shimmers and it's not as sticky so it glides well on my lips.

I love this Lip gloss, this is my favorite ever, I bought it already twice ... although it is super pricey ($22).
I use it for a natural look, it looks great with smokey eyes.
Doesn't smell bad, it's a little sticky but it doesnt bother me.
What bothers me is that there is sooo little for the price.

I got this almost a month ago and was so happy to get it. I have wanted it for years! But, I was a bit disappointed with it. It's very sticky, isn't as opaque as I'd like, and the flavor/scent isn't that great. And it's $22!
I wouldn't repurchase.

After getting two different sets of these glazes (Gift on Glaze and mini trio) this was the one lippie I was least looking forward to using. I don't like the smell of vanilla plus I figured if brown sugar barely showed on my lips this would be non-existent. I was pleasantly surprised. The smell is actually sort of enjoyable, not overpowering and I like the feel of it on my lips with a subtle look of shine and tint. So not bad at all! There are way too many glazes out there to try to repurchase (I have been admiring the new 8 glaze set on Sephora for $25 with some pretty colors) but nothing wrong with this one.

Overall this is a good product - I got this as part of a Stila palette. I like that it's longer lasting than a lot of other glosses. On the flipside the packaging drives me nuts, I keep clicking and getting nothing then suddenly I've got too much product. Personally I don't like that product gets wasted just sitting in the brush. The smell/taste is pleasant though, and gives a nice nude effect without being too shimmery.

This is one of my favorite Stila lip glazes, hands down. Great vanilla flavor and scent - not too sweet, just yummy. The color is a unique pearly nude that compliments a smoky eye perfectly. Also nice for a clean, minimalistic look with a bit of shine. People who say this stuff is too sticky must have gotten their glosses confused. It's long lasting, which requires some tackiness, but I can easily smack my lips together without incurring goop like I do with most glosses. Divine!!!

This is a very shiny and shimmery glaze with almost no colour! It is sticky and feels rather uncomfortable on the lips. The light beige pigmentation actually washes me out. Also the vanilla scent was too strong! This was part of a set-I would never (re)purchase this gloss on its own!

Nice shimmery nude gloss. The only thing I can't get over is the horrible "vanilla" scent. It smells similar to the It Glosses, which I also can't stand. Too bad because I love vanilla!

I love this product!!!!!!!!! It's color is almost clear on my naturally reallly x 10 pigmented, and I love the natural look. I also really like the smell of vanilla. This product is really sticky, but i guess if I want it to stay on my lips, that's the price I have to pay. I like the packaging because i find it different and I heart that! I cannot stop using this product... I am soo worried one day it'll be all gone! It gives me the perfect sexy shine that I want and need for my already plump lips. Maybe next time I'll purchase aporicot.... wish me luck! <3 IT! But it was also 30 bucks where I live.... but that's the only downside! =[

Stila lip glaze in Vanilla was part of the HOLIDAY set for 2007. It is a nude shimmery beige and goes on sheer and clear on my pink/red lips. I like the Stila lip glaze as it has long staying power and I like the precise application with the pen, but the clicking noise is sooo annoying and there is very little product in the lip gloss pen. The smell of Lip glaze in Vanilla is like a Vanilla Bean, very real! I don't think I will buy this gloss again as it goes on clear and there is nothing really special about it.

As others have said, this is the perfect color to go with smoky eyes. It smells/tastes good and has pretty good lasting power for gloss. I like the packaging, but if you accidently make too much come out, there's no way of putting it back in, which can be frustrating.

I've been using vanilla lipglaze for a couple of years and I absolutly adore it. I usually use it during the fall to go with my smokey eyes since it's the perfect nude lip look. Plus, it smells like yummy vanilla icing. You can smell it a bit after you apply it, which I really enjoy. The color in the tube is a shimmery light beige. It goes on a nice frosty champagne color on my lips. It goes perfect with any make-up combo, whether I want a dark, smokey eyes or just liner and mascara this fits the bill. I will continue to purchase as long as they keep making it. It is a bit sticky so I do not suggest walking out with this if you have your hair down on a windy day. The lasting power is great for a gloss as well. love it!
