I bought the OPI crack covercoat a few months ago and absolutely loved it! Unfortunately it was very expensive, so when I came across the Sally Hansen version which was half the price I jumped at the chance to buy it. It cracked fine on my nails and was lovely for around two days, after two days I noticed my nails began to peel and split terribly. I immediately took it off and allowed my nails to recover for a few weeks. I tried the crackle again, (to see if it was the nail polish or just me) and it happened after two days again. It completely ruined, peeled and split all my nails (especially my middle and ring fingers.) I emailed Sally Hansen company explaining my problem and I'm still waiting for a reply and it's been a few weeks. I haven't noticed anyone having the same problem, but I definately know it's the Crackle, because I have tried OPI again and it's working lovely. I won't ever repurchase this product and unfortunately had to throw it away. I guess paying the bit extra for the OPI is the way to go for me.

this is the only other crackle ive used except for opi black shatter. i liked it, it cracked very nicely for me, although the formula is very different, it cracks differently. its harder to get a nice, linear pattern going like i've been able to achieve with the opi. that could be the brush though. this brush is thin and small and i find it harder to work with since you have to apply this so fast. but the blue is rather pretty and i think with practice i could like this just as much.
