The only time I would use it is after I take my makeup off with cetaphil gentle face cleanser (the one for normal to oily skin) and I didn't use my clarisonic (I use clarisonic every other day). I use this toner to make sure there's no traces of makeup the cetaphil left behind. First of all this toner smells horrible!! And because of its high alcohol content it made my skin super dry and tight. To reverse the damage this toner made I apply Simple skincare toner right after to balance my PH. The bottle is huge it'll take awhile before I can finish it but I will not repurchase.

I found my HG for my acne. I can't say enough good things about this product. It is like where have you been all my life.... Especially in my teenage years. I bought this product on a whim just to try something else to help with my acne also the fact that it was on sale and came with a 2 dollar off coupon so in total it was about 3 bucks at rite aid. It helped my skin with my dryness, redness, blemishes, acne, leaves my skin soft and moisturized. Should definite give it a try.

I used two bottles of this and it was okay. it didn't do anything specifically for my pores but it was a decent toner. don't think i will be repurchasing though, because I already went back to my holy grail toner.

This product is ok. i have oily acne prone skin and I've been trying to use something other than benzyl peroxide and this keeps my skin clean but I wouldnt say its a miracle product. It doesnt strip you natural oils but over time I do get oily. I'm half way through the bottle. I'll see how I feel once the bottle is empty.

I had used cetaphil gentle skin cleanser and for a week, my skin started getting red clusters of bumps, for days I put alcohol on them no change, everyday kept getting new red bumps. So I decided to clean my face with dickinson pore perfecting witch hazel my first time using this product, within the first hour my face starting clearing up by morning I was in shock my face had no red bumps, it was smooth, plump, it is awesome.I will make this my new face product.I have sensitive, dry, skin, this did not dry me out or sting this is AWESOME STUFF. WOW! (I RECOMMEND THE CETAPHIL LOTION DAILY MOISTURIZER SPF)Plumps up my sunken cheeks so Awesome! My new hg.

Such a good toner!! I really recommend this Its natural so it's alcohol free also very cheap and very good for your skin. I have acne prone skin and it helped keep the acne away as well as clean my skin, I had clear skin when I used this so very happy with it. Though its a mild treatment so don't rely on it so much if you have severe acne it will help but only clean the skin and may prevent it. The only concern is that it smells pretty bad, but so worth it just try not to smell it.

This has broken out my face so bad. I started having pimples in places I never did and my skin became very sore and sensitive. However, since the bottle comes with a lot of witch hazel, I decided to use this on my arms and back to prevent whiteheads instead of throwing it out. It actually works better that way.I guess my face just can't handle this product (perhaps due to the alcohol content?) but my arms and back love this.

I've been using this for years. I believe I am on my 4th bottle. A bottle lasts a long time. This can be purchased from any drug store, Target, Wal-Mart etc For about $5 or less. I have acne prone oily skin so I use this at least 2-3 times a day. I wash my face with Cetaphil gentle face wash and squirt some witch hazel on a cotton ball and go over my face and neck to remove any excess makeup, dead skin, dirt, debris. I do this as many times as needed until the cotton ball is white (i.e. my face is free and clean of any dirt, makeup etc). I like that it's witch hazel and all natural. Whenever I had a pimple or white head that I put some of this on a cotton ball and leave it on the pimple for about 10 minutes to dry it up. It's no overnight miracle but I do believe it helps in the healing process of blemishes and scars. This doesn't leave that sticky film to your face like Seabreeze does. You're face feels fresh and clean afterwards, never tingly or tight.

I've bought countless bottles of Witch Hazel over the years. Not only as a Face astringent and makeup remover but it also calms down any kind of Skin irritation (Bug Bites, rashes, shaving bumps etc). It is a staple in my bathroom cabinet. I normally buy the el cheapo dollar store ones but I ran out and bought the Dickenson's Pore Perfecting one. I needed a replacement for my MUAC Pre/Post Peel which is essentially witch hazel. I do not find the alcohol in this overdrying. It is Natural grain alcohol rather Isopropyl or Ethanol which can be found in a lot of toners even the very expensive ones (Hello Clinique?).
Sores, Swelling, Bruising
Sooth and heal diaper rash
Shrinks bags under the eyes
Tightens skin (that is why it is used for hemorrhoids)
Chicken pox blisters
You can also make this smell better by added an essential oil that is good for skin like tea Tree or lavender. I make my own toners and I use this as a base for my homemade concoctions.
I cannot live without this.
