Love this! Been using it off and on for a few years now, sometimes I also use the Arrid Clear Gel Deodorant as well. This stuff works great, smells good, and is pretty inexpensive. I was using Secret Clinical Strength Deodorant after my regular Secret stopped working so well (I used Secret for years and years! then all of a sudden it stopped working, I was sweating horribly and I smelled awful! I even started using my DH's Right Guard at one point, lol.) Finally one day I got tired of spending $10 for a small stick of deodorant so I compared the ingredients of the clinical deodorants to some of the other brands at the drugstore and this was one of the ones that had comparable ingredients. Please don't waste your hard-earned $ on those pricey "clinical strength" deodorants and give this one a try!

Best out there. After having my baby I found that Dove and Degree were not cutting it since my hormones changed a bit. This deodorant smells great but not overpowering and stays on long! Leaves undrearms feeling smooth as well.

Finally, a deodorant that lasts all day without even a hint of b.o. Not a lot more to say, except it works. I was beginning to give up hope on finding a deodorant that keeps me fresh even when I'm wearing my favourite shirts, which don't stretch because they have spandex in them, which also means they don't breathe as well, so I end up stinking 4 hours after applying deodorant. Not so with this stuff. The baby powder scent is not a typical one. Kind of smells a bit like a tweeny drugstore perfume. It's not bad, but next time I think I'll go with the other scent.

This is a review on Mitchum Advanced Control Stick Deodrant in Solid form. I bought it in the scent Powder after reading good reviews on YOUTUBE and other makeup boards. Let me first say, I have tried several deodrants such as Secret, Ban, Dove, Lady Speed Stick, Suave. to name a few and by midday, I smelled musty and needed to reapply these deodrants. But since using Mitchum, I am fresh smelling ALL day and do not have to reapply! It is a nice scent that isn't overpowering, but leaves me feeling and smelling fresh all day. This is my holy grail deodrant that I will definitely repurchase! Thankyou Mitchum!

This deodorant is very good! I was using secret and it would wear off after like an hour. I am a girl that sometimes, especially in this warm weather, can sweat and it can get embarassing. I started using this about a month ago and it worked very good for the sweat problems and it lasts ALL DAY!! like the comment below I also have had people tell me I smell good and all I will be wearing is the Mitchum deordorant lol. Buy it, trust me you won't regreat it!!

I bought Mitchum Advanced Control for women in the powder scent back in May. The first day I wore it, someone commented that I smelled good and the only scented thing I was wearing was this deodorant. I really love the smell too because it's not a typical powder smell. It smells like powder, but with an extra oomph. As far as sweating goes, this does a terrific job. I sweat ALOT (not on a hyperhidrosis level, but close to it) and I have found that this is the only deodorant/antiperspirant that has kept me dry for hours at a time. Naturally, I stacked up when they were on sale and got more bottles. But my only problem is, after about three months, it wasn't working as well as it did initially. I figured my body got used to it, so I switched to another deodorant for 2 weeks. Then I went back to Mitchum and it's currently working great.

I've been loving Mitchum Power Gel for over a year now, but since the weather got hot, I've found that it was no longer keeping me odor free. So I went shopping for a new antiperspirant. When I saw a new product from Mitchum--the Advanced Control Anti-Perspirant & Deodorant Invisible Solid--I had to try it, as I haven't found mediocre product from them yet. It works great! I especially like to use it at night, like the clinical strength antiperspirants from Secret, etc. Doing this really helps control wetness and odor the next day, though I also apply antiperspirant in the morning. Although the packaging claims that it "goes on clear," I have found that it can easily leave white residue on my clothing, so I've knocked off one star. However, on days when white marks on clothing would be a problem, I just use the Power Gel in the morning, so it's not a big deal, and certainly not a deal breaker, considering how effective this product otherwise is.

Active Ingredients: Aluminum Zirconium Tetrachlorohydrex GLY (20%). Inactive Ingredients: Cyclopentasiloxane, Stearyl Alcohol, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Dimethicone, Talc, Fragrance, PEG-8 Distearate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Laureth-23, Silica, Sodium Starch Octenylsuccinate, Hexyl Cinnamal, Limonene, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Coumarin, Citronellol, Benzyl Benzoate.

I honestly believe I have tried a minimum of 90% of deodrants on the market, and they all seem to be lovely for a few weeks, then I become immune to them, (if such a thing is possible) but here I am, finally justice is being granted, in the form of this deodrant! It honestly is the mother of all deodrants, and if like me you can't find one that works for you, try it out!! Lovely refreshing scent, lasts all day, and the bottle lasts ages!

This is the only deodorant that has ever worked for me. I picked it up after seeing reviews on this and other sites. I use the pure fresh scent, and it has never been overpowering. The scent is subtle but still lets you feel protected. It didn't stop me from sweating, but it has helped very much, and also helps to keep the smell away. My family and I all sweat very very much, and it was so hard for me to find a product that has worked this well. Aside form clinical strength, because they're far too pricey for me to immediately try, I have tried just about everything, including men's antiperspirants. The gel version of this product didn't work for me at all, and remained wet hours after I had put it on. This product does have one downside; however, the fact that it leaves very bright white marks on the underarms of all of your clothes. For me, this is a tiny price to pay for nice, mostly dry underarms.

I cannot stand scented deodorants - for some reason when I do use them, all I can smell all day is the scent, to the point that it overpowers any perfume I may have on. You may ask why bother with them if I can't stand them?....well for some reason (in the Australian market) only the scented deodorants seem to be formulated to be anti white marking..... Until now. I have the unperfumed spray version. This product works well and the big plus for me is that it is both unscented and leaves no white marks (hooray!). I only gave it a 3 for packaging as I actually prefer roll-ons. I am hoping Mitchum/Revlon eventually release a roll on version that is anti white marking


5/1/13 Update: As we have moved into the warmer months, on it own, I am finding this is not as effective as my regular Mitchum unscented rollon for keeping me fresh over 24hrs. I discovered (from a blog dempeaux.com) that washing your armpits with Head & Shoulders shampoo - or any anti-dandruff shampoo containing 1% zinc pyrithione eliminates odour causing bacteria. If I do this and use the Advanced Control spray afterwards, this combination will keep me odour free and my clothes white marks free over 24hrs

I heard some people talking about this and picked it up out of curiosity. Summer is coming up and all the regular deodorant lines seem to fail. Regular deodorant seems to go off by the middle of the day. It's like your body temperature does something to the fragrance in them. Hence, why Secret is always changing their scents and formulas. Mitchum is owned by Revlon and I think it's a lesser known brand. It's not very easy to find, and sometimes it's on the bottom or the very top shelf. Advanced Control claims 48 hour protection, and although I haven't tried that, I believe it. This stuff works and you only need a small amount. It's practically the same as Secret Clinical Strength, if not better. It's also cheaper. I'm switching to this on a permanent basis. If we had access to the scents they have overseas, I'd be more happy with it.

works amazingly. 20% aluminum, but cheaper that many products with the same amount. white solid, goes on clear. keeps me very dry and smelling purty. i won't stray from this one!

FINALLY!!!! I can stop investing in deodorant experiments!!! This stuff WORKS. It's a solid, but dries clear- I've yet to find any white reside on clothing. I bought this is Powder Fresh and it smells VERY soapy on, but fades as time goes on. Put it on at 7am, and after the gym at 8pm, still no BO! Most deodorants (especially fruitty or floral ones) mix with my chemicals and leave me smelling FOUL. This does not. Not wetness, no residue, no bad odor....LOVE IT!!!!!! (The only issue I have is that when I take the lid off, once in awhile deodorant balls fall out! I can live with that, though)

LOVE!!! Even when the rest of my body is sweating, my armpits are bone dry when I'm using this. Plus, it leaves the most minimal amount of residue out of any solid antiperspirant/deodorant I've tried. I got married on the beach on this tiny island off the coast of Cancun in the middle of June. It was incredibly hot (100+ degrees) and super humid, plus I was super nervous which tends to make me sweat. Not only did this keep my armpits dry, but it left no mark or residue on my dress. A+++++++!!!!!

Love this stuff!! Waaaayyy cheaper then the other clinical strength stuff out there but works way better. Its been a rather steamy and hot summer here in VA and Ive been on the hunt for something that worked without smelling like BO scented roses (not pretty). This stuff fits the bill. I as well have it in powder fresh and it only smells at first, then your armpits just smell like skin. No sweat, no stink. Awesome stuff. More people should know about this!!!

I've tried every deodorant out there. I used to switch brands every once in a while, thinking my body would get "used" to the formula and then it would stop working as well. I don't know about that. I kept hearing people mention Mitchum on MUA boards, etc, when people would ask whats the best deodorant for sweat and odor... SO, since Mitchum was probably the only brand I had never reached for or tried, I thought it was time to get my hands on it! OMG- This deodorant SUCKS YOUR PITS DRY!!!! I am serious. It feels like, when you apply, it sucks out any moisture in your armpits, and even after the next day, I am still dry as a BONE and there is ZERO odor! I am SO impressed, because usually, if I don't start re-applying after a few hours, I'm definitely starting to feel wet and gross. This stuff has never required me to re-apply. I finally have one less thing to worry about when I have this stuff on! It's the best. I have it in "Powder Fresh" which isn't overpowering. It's pretty subtle. I'm just so impressed with how powerful this stuff is. And I've used those silly clinical formulas. Nothing touches this.
