Mauve is as basic as you can get when it comes to neutral eye shadows. It has good quality, like any other Sally Girl eyeshadows, good staying power when used with primer, and the amazing $.99 price. You go get a little bit of fallout, and my other concern with this specific color is that it doesn't show up very well on the lids. So this is actually awesome for a natural, no-makeup look. It has a satin finish to it, so it does reflect a healthy bit. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a natural-toned eyeshadow- Mauve is perfect for it!

A light mauve i use this on my lid or in my crease with a combination of other colors. i especially like it with purple or gray eyeshadows.99 cents at Sally's Beauty Supply it's worth buying again. I keep this one in my purse.

Such a simple, unassuming little name, but seriously, pick this shade up. It's one of the Sally Girl singles, for .99 and it's become my go-to color for just a wash over my entire lid before dashing out the door. It's a very soft, natural mauve color...I'd bet it would be pretty as a blush, too -- but I haven't tried that. It has the slightest hint of a sheen/pearl look to it. Very velvety feeling so it slides on beautifully with my 217 MAC brush. Stays put really good considering it's el cheapo. :)
