Super nail polish! I LOVE Rimmel Lasting Pro nail polish and have just about every color now. The wear is phenominal, the shine is spectacular and the price is very affordable (like $5.00 a bottle and less if you hit a sale or have a coupon). Midnight Blue is extremely dark. In fact, when I first applied it, it looked black to me. The next day it looked black to me. So I'm at work and my friend across from my cubicle and I are talking and she gasps when she sees my nails and tells me what a pretty blue it is! Which amazed me because even now I have a hard time seeing blue. But, my eye sight will never win awards, so ok. What I care most about is the wear (fantastic) and the shine (love, love). I swear to you....try these nail polishes, read my other reviews of colors, you will not regret it! I have worn nothing but Rimmel on my nails for 2 months now. Superior color and wearability. My only complaint is their limited color spectrum. If they would expand it, I'd buy every one!!! Hear that Rimmel?? I WOULD BUY THEM ALL!!!!! :) LOL.

Of all the polishes I have owned, this is the one that applies the best. I was absolutely amazed at how well the brush works, and I was applying it in very low light; nighttime with only the tv to guide me. It didn't drip, goop on the sides, and I only needed one coat. I remember saying to myself 'this is the best nail polish in the world" before I had even strarted the second hand. Love the colour; a rich, deep navy with very subtle shimmer. It dries quickly, and hangs on as well as any other good polish. I'm going back for more shades this week.

I really like Rimmel nail polish, I just wish they had more color options. The Rimmel brush is one of my favorites! It makes much more sense to have a flat brush with the end tapered to match the cuticle line a lot better.

The only reason I gave it an overall rating of 3 is simply because I've realized that I'm not fond of dark (almost black) blue nail polish. I prefer almost black in the purple family, but blue just looks weird to me. But that's more personal preference than product fail. lol :)

I adore this dark blue shimmer. It's one of those blue polishes that has depth to it - very jewel-like. It may not be totally unique but it is a really great version of a dark navy blue shimmer. I love this for winter especially. The formula is nice on this one, it dried fairly quickly (unlike Steel Grey which took hours to dry on me) and it lasts a good while without chipping. And the brush is great also - makes the mani/pedicure so much faster. Would absolutely repurchase.
