I dove into the world of BB Cream via this one, and it was definitely not ideal.

Pros:
- Light, minimal coverage

Cons:
- Tinted ORANGE!
- Feels makeuppy

I've used Skin79's BB Cream and a few other Asian brand BB Creams. I've also given a few American-based brands' BB Creams a chance. Honestly, the American BB Creams just don't live up to the hype about BB Creams. The texture is always off, the color is off, and the benefits are never as good as the Asian ones. This Boscia cream is a poor excuse for a BB Cream. One review on Sephora even said to dab water on your face before putting this on...? Why would I want to go through all that extra trouble for an overpriced BB Cream anyway? I'm going to stick with the Asian brand BB Creams which have far better benefits such as anti-aging, better oil control, better COVERAGE, SPF, lightening effects (helps with my redness), better texture, and just one swipe one and they're done. Sorry, Boscia. Nice try.

I think it really depends on your chemistry to know if this product will work for you. I have very oily skin, NC15/Bobbi Brown Porcelain and this worked very well on me. It is gray-pink on application, but blending it in makes it seep in and match my skin tone. It absorbs into my skin instead of sitting on top of it.I haven't experienced any breakouts yet, although I'm not discounting it.

I bought it with the Boscia travel sized skin regimen. I think as a step within that team products, this works very well and I'm happy with it. It's perfect for summer and for travel.

I have Celtic porcelain skin with rosacea. I use a moisturizer on my skin after cleansing and then I put on this BB cream. I absolutely love the smooth finish I get from it. I have not seen any orange oxidation, glitter, or chalky blobs (sorry to be rude). I just love the texture and protection that this Boscia BB cream gives me. I am going to Central Europe in a couple of weeks and will take this cream with me to wear during the long days of touring. Edit****This product broke me out and made my face burn like like a sunburn. I deducted lippies and will never buy again.

When I got this sample from Sephora I was excited to try it. I had only used Garniers Bb cream and wanted to try others. I sampled it on my hand first and wasn't impressed. The amount of shimmer was very noticeable and made me a little nervous to put it on my face. It also looked really dark and grey in tone to me. Another thing was that it felt tight on my skin when I rubbed it in. I decided to try it out anyway. I chose a day that I would be out in the sun because it has a high SPF and I don't typically like wearing foundations with high SPF's. I applied it with a Siigma Sigmax round top Kabuki sprayed slightly with some of MAC's fix plus. It was difficult to apply this way but as I buffed it in with the brush it looked better and better. The consistency of this product is very weird, like a mousse? I'm not sure. I used concealer over it under my eyes and on some blemishes and it blended well. I then powdered my face with Tarte's finishing powder and it looked nice. It wore well throughout the day and didn't oxidize like others have said. Not sure I f I would buy this again or if I would buy another brand. It did not break me out which is a plus.

Got this as a sample from sephora. I was really excited to try out BB creams, since im new to them, and am already in love with tinted moiturizers. My BB cream didnt have a horrible consistency, but i did apply moisturizer first, bc i have really dry skin. It spread ok, being like a thick moussey gel. It didnt moisturize AT ALL. My forehead and cheeks felt a little tight, as if I had nothing under. The color was a perfect match to my skin however, and left me radiant and glowing. I checked back 10 minutes later to check it, and though still a little tacky, it looked fine. An hour and a half later however, I was in the car on the way to a friends, and checked myself in the visor mirror, and to my horror I was as orange as an oompa loompa! Im normally a NC25-30, so im not excessively pale or cool toned, so im not sure what the heck happened. That is horrible oxidation. I tried it again over the weekend to seeif it still came out orange over time, and it did, after about 40 minutes. So terrible color, and it doesnt even moisturize like it promises! Terrible product, I am so glad I didnt have to pay for this, and if I had, Id return it for a refund!

Scary orange streaks on my face 20 minutes after application! I jumped when I saw my reflection in the mirror.

I purchased this despite bad reviews because I thought it would be an easy all-in-one for vacations and possibly honeymoon. WRONG.

The consistency is strange - it feels watery and smooth to blend at first, but the color is deposited in grayish clumps that don't seem to move. I really had to tug rigorously at my hairline and jawline to blend this in.

Returning to Sephora asap.

This product is a great alternative to foundation for daily wear. It has benefits of skin care products, while diffusing imperfections. I like it for M-F 9-5 and will probably also wear it a lot during the summer because it is a no makeup look and sweat won't make it run like a regular foundation.

As for the shimmer people are mentioning...I do not find it to be an issue. As for the ghostly palor I have heard mentioned, I believe that this is not a product meant for photography and is not intended to work well with a flash like most foundations do.

This is for people who want to have a great no makeup look, protect thier skin and get some minimal coverage....not for people who want a photogenic makeup look.

The color happens to work on my skintone (nw25) but I imagine that it would be too dark or light for some people. You just have to try it.

I said I would not be purchasing again because I am going to buy the clinique version next

I have to laugh at everyone complaining about the "glitter" in this product-- that "luminous glow" is definitely the in thing right now in makeup. These reviewers obviously haven't tried Jouer or Laura Mercier because this has almost no "glitter" compared to those well-known brands.

As someone who prefers medium-to-full coverage foundation, this was a scary step for me to pick a more sheer makeup. It covers just enough to look natural (but only coveres redness a little bit), and definitely a bit more than a tinted moisturizer. (This Boscia BB Cream, by the way, doesn't really seem moisturizing at all.)

I'm NW22, and the color works pretty well for me. It seems most people complaining of the color are NC, so maybe avoid if you're a pale NC?

I had the good sense to try a sample (very pricey for .27g -6.50) from a seller on ebay. I guess I didn't realize this was soooo darkly tinted, but it's very dark for my light-medium Olive toned skin and it goes on very dry; the only way to make it less dry is to use a moisturizer prior; but doesn't that defeat the purpose? I have beautiful very "clean" looking skin and don't wear foundation as a rule but sometimes like to have a "flawless" look going on; I do use the Jane Iredale Dream Tint in Peach Brightener and it really is very pretty although only an SPF 15 which is why I tried this one. Anyway, not impressed.

I was interested in testing either a new tinted moisturizer or a BB cream to (hopefully) pare down my morning routine when I'm rushed. I got a sample of the Boscia BB Cream from Sephora and immediately noticed the dark color. I'm very fair/neutral. I figured it would adjust some after it was on, which it did. It became -more- orange =(
The texture is, as another user described, like chalk dust mixed with water and glitter. It's very strange, gel like, and doesn't feel terribly moisturizing. I tried this two different ways: alone, and under my normal foundation.

Alone, this was a bit ashy initially and warmed to a golden orange-ish color, like I had applied self tanner. I wore this as a moisturizer, with nothing underneath. It was very difficult to spread around my face and quite sparkly in the light. About an hour after putting it on, my face was extremely shiny and oily in the t-zone, though the finish at first was dewy.

Also, it never quite "dried", remaining a bit tacky to the touch.

Decided to give it one more shot as a primer, and my foundation kept the orange in check fairly well. It also camoflaged most of the sparkles. Unfortunately, it's way too heavy to be worn under foundation unless you enjoy feeling like you're wearing a mask all day.

The best part about this product was scrubbing it off. My skin literally felt relieved, as though it could breathe again.

Definitely will not purchase a full size, nor would I recommend to anyone with a very fair complexion. This would probably look fabulous on a girl with a nice tan or warm/medium skintone.

It does make skin glow and evened out my skin, but needed extra concealer for dark spot and under eye. The coverage was ok. Worked well with my skin tone.I do like the consistency of the cream. Not too oily or matte. NO cakey effect. Pretty good overall, but I think there are better products (like Dr. Jart+ premium) for the price.

Got this as a Sephora sample. It has a texture like chalk mixed with water and sparkles. It's hard to apply, not moisturizing in the slightest, and has a hideous pink-gray tone that kind of fades after a while but is never flattering to my NC20 skin. Really unpleasant.

Little7elf is absolutely right. If people get close enough to detect glitter, flaws, etc. on your face, they're just TOO CLOSE. Tell them to back off. They're in your space.

I would like to try this, as well as the new Clinique BB cream. Which has more coverage? Thanks.

Hope this doesn't sound rude about the "shimmer" comments but I've asked several people in bright sunlight if they notice any "glitter" on my skin and after coming in very close, and holding my face at specific angles, they can see the flecks. I can see it on my own face when I go into bright light and actually really look for it. I'm not sure that anyone would really notice the shimmer or really be that intent on inspecting your face :)
Besides that, I love this stuff. It really perfects my skin and I need absolutely nothing else! In the summer, this is the only thing I need to look dewy fresh and flawless with out feeling heavy or weighed down. I hate wearing sunscreen so the SPF is and added benefit. I've also noticed my skin generally improving, although this could be accounted to sunscreen use. After two weeks of consistent wear, I woke up one morning (no make-up), stared in the mirror, and was a little surprised by how decent my skin was looking.
I've never used a BB cream before so can't comment on how thick it is or isn't but I dont really like thick stuff on my face so I probably wouldn't like something heavier and more opaque. Will repurchase again and again.

This is the worse B.B cream I have ever tried. It's not much like your typical B.B cream - its quite thick and wet in texture and does not cover as well as Asian B.B creams. The one thing that bothers me the MOST is the obvious shimmers in this product - applied all over and it makes it look like I poured shimmer onto my face. Returning this to Sephora.

I wanted to try one of these products, reading that they moisturized, evened-out skin tone, had anti-aging qualities - heck, everything but doing laundry!

I headed to Sephora to see what was in stock, and the Boscia was the one that seemed like it would be up my alley, and the price was not as high as the others.

I have now been using this for about 6 weeks, not everday but probably 3 times a week on average. LOVE IT! It evens out my skin tone, without looking suspicious, and the thing I love the most is that it stays put, even when you are sweating. And trust me, I sweat, big time! It's a little bit weird consistency, but provides really lovely coverage, in my opinion. I have even worn it a few times instead of foundation, and been pleased with how it looks and the staying power.

I think it will be a good product for the price, but until I finish the tube, I won't be able to get an idea of how it stacks up exactly. I'm thinking it will get a very favorable spot in my good-price-per-use calculations.

I have tried several Korean BB creams over the last 3 months ( Missha, Skin79, Legere, Lioele ) and i found that Boscia is different. Compared to a traditional BB cream Boscia feels quite light. It reminds me of chocolate mousse. Yes it looks like a thick cream but as you spread you'll see that it melts into the skin quickly and doesn't leave a heavy residue. It gives about a medium coverage. It can be light coverage if you use very little like I do. Mostly I love the color tint which is warmer than my other BB creams. I use MAC concealer NW20 and it blends very well on top of Boscia, as with other BB creams it stands out as an orange patch.
I have noticed that this BB cream is not moisturizing. It is working fine now in July but my skin tends to be dry in winter so I am concerned if I will be able to use it all year. until I find out I won't be buying the full size.
