I love this mask. The smell is natural, no perfumes or weirdness. It goes on light and easy. The longer I can wear it, the better the results. My skin feels so fresh, clean, tight and looks great right after.

I think this product is super fantastic! But only for specific uses! If you are going somewhere and would like a little "umph" this is your mask. It is great. i have noticed that the longer i can keep it on, the happier i am with the results. Rarely have I seen such instant results. It smells great too. Not natural, but nice.
I think it is easy to blow through the product, and it's not necessary to do so. So, be careful, sparing, and this should last a decent while. The first time i bought it though, i liked it so much that i didn't use discretion when applying and used it daily!!!
Great product!

It smells like a gag inducing BBW scent and leaving it on for 30minutes dries the heck out of my skin and leaves some bizarre creasing. After using this mask my skin seems more congested around my hairline. I prefer the DDF sulphur mask, but tried this because a friend allergic to sulphur swears it was awesome.
The tiny jar lasts FOREVER, except the whole sticking your fingers in to get some might leave it contaminated. Like all my jar creams, etc I wash my hands prior to use.
I use the BluRay microfiber cloths to clean my face prior to slathering on the mask, so I'm certain the congestion isn't from my face being dirty. I would not purchase again, and would not recommend others to buy this mask. Waste of $28.

For those special days when I have to look especially fabulous, this is my go-to product for that inexplicable, lit-from-within glow. My skin is on the normal/slightly oily side so I tend to be resistant to the adverse effects many product have on sensitive skin. As the mask is drying it literally feels like your face is contracting. The trick is to NOT flex, stretch, scrunch and/or make funny faces while the mask is drying, otherwise, you’ll end up with the unsightly creases and wrinkles other reviewers have complained about. This may be difficult because the “tightening” can be uncomfortable for the novice user, but if you don’t “fight” the mask, it’ll more or less keep its promise of refined pores and firmer looking skin. It does not need to be gooped-on but the layer should be opaque. Be sure to clean everything off and moisturize afterwards.
Other pluses to consider: Ole Henriksen is well known for making highly effective products using natural ingredients and $27 for a prestige brand mask is quite reasonable.

I'm a bit iffy about this mask. I bought it because the SA at Sephora said it would help with pores and the skin in general.
I love the scent of the mask, but I'm not really sure if it did anything for my face and my skin ( or my pores). It was a bit troublesome to leave it on for the full 30 minutes ( especially when sometimes you just wanna have a mask on for 10-15 minutes.)
Overall, this mask was just iffy for me.

I tried this mask b/c it was fairly cheap and smells great, like raspberries. I left it on for about 20 mins. and it made my skin feel very tight. When you rinse it off it foams up a lot! I can't say it's really making a big difference in my skin but it's clay based so it's gotta be removing some impurities. I'll finish the jar and maybe buy it again.

I love this mask! I have really big pores on my nose, but after using the mask I almost couldn’t see them (And its still working 4 days after). The only thing I don’t like about the mask is that it doesn't moisturize and leaves my skin really dry.
Edit: I have now tried it a couple of times, and it leaves my skin with dry patches and very dry skin falling of off, like I have taken too much sun. It didn’t help that I used skin tonic and the herbal crème after the mask. I am not sure I will use this again, I like the effect it has on my pores, but I don’t want dry skin either.

This mask smells like a gourmet of berries churned into a mousse dessert! It spreads easily onto skin, but stings mildly upon application, and dries pretty quickly to tighten up pores. Only thing is most clay masks dry to tighten pores, and are probably better at cleansing too. This mask comes in a glass jar with very little product at an extremely high price! Guess I'm an implusive buyer when it comes to skincare and MU - I'll try anything to get great skin! Unfortunately for me I shall not be repurchasing this after I finish the jar (which will be pretty soon considering the small size), and wouldn't recommend it to anyone with oily skin (doesn't deep clean or exfoliate), dry skin (doesn't moisturize), ageing skin (doesn't firm), or sensitive skin (stings too much!).

The mask smells very nice but thats about it. I have tried many different types of masks before (pore refining, clay, firming, moisturizing etc) from brands such as ella bache, dr. hauschka, origins, maria galland, molton brown, bliss, juice beauty just to name a few but this is by far worst i've ever tried. Cleans ok, but the firming aspect of it is disastrous. The masks tightens which feels nice when on the face but as soon as you wash it off pay attention to the temporary wrinkles/creases it creates on the face!!! whatever the tightening method they use to tighten the face is all wrong. it creates abnormal temporary creases on face that no product mask should do; a too forceful attempt to tighten skin and pore!
At first i was wondering if the creases were created by me using a headband pulling my face up a little and hair away. so i tried it without my headband so my face is relaxed and totally natural, BUT same issue. I apply this with a finger in all natural directions on face lifting upwards and around so its not like i make all sorts of wierd directions that might cause such creases. Trust me. this one is a NO GO. but if you still decide to try it. get and sample from sephora first and see for yourself! nuff said! tried this 3 times already. i might just throw this out or use it on my hands! lol. what a waste of money. i should have known better when the lady recommended it to me as her favorite mask and her face was not all that soft, clear and great; miles away from my healthy skin. lol. another life lesson learned! dont believe everything sales with bad/mediocre skin recommend! most of the time they probably dont know what they are saying or are just memorizing from the books. if they knew what works great, their skin would be an example!!!!!!

I'm 19 and I was recommended by a Sephora staffer that this would clear up and tighten my pores. I took a chance and it backfired. It left my skin looking more matte, smoother and softer but it was very temporary. Also since you are supposed to use it 2-3X a week, it's not economical since it's only like 2 ounces. Will I buy again? Obviously no

I started using this mask over the summer, when my combination skin turns super shiny, oily and my pores appear huge. When I first applied this lavender color, mousse like mask, I was pleasantly surprised by the spa-like, herbal scent. The directions said to apply a thick coat, but I just applied it as I would any other mask. It went on smoothly and felt great. I set my timer for 30 minutes. After about 15 minutes, I could really feel the mask drying and tightening. It wasn't painful, but it wasn't enjoyable. I left it on for the remaining 15 minutes. It washed off easily. My skin felt smooth, tight, clean and nourished. It looked bright, clear, even-toned and healthy. My pores even looked less visible! It seemed to take care of the excess oil, without drying out my skin. I followed with Ole Henriksen Vit. C serum. The next morning, my skin felt and looked great. I now use the mask once, sometimes twice a week. I doubt I will use this mask in the cooler months when my skin is more on the dry side. I feel that this mask may be too drying for someone with normal to dry skin.

Im skeptical about this product. This mask smells wonderful, quite uplifting, so i enjoy using it, especially after a day of stress at work. The texture is rather strange, it's like mousse before application and turns foamy during wash off. I believe the tightening effect is due to the foam it produces, just like when we use soap. If thats the case, then the effect will go away as the mask gets rinse off thoroughly, which is the case for me. Initially, i felt the tightening at the beginning, then i realised it wasnt rinsed off completely, so i washed my face again during shower, and the tightening effect completely disappeared. Then, i looked up the ingredients list on the product and guess wat's second on the list - sodium cocoyl isethionate, if you look up google, it is a surfactant, which are commonly use in shampoo, detergent as a foaming agent. I dont doubt its ability to clean, cos my skin do feel clean after this, but i also wonder if i will get the same result by leaving my foamy cleanser on for 30 minutes. I've only used it once, so im not going to comment on its long term effect, but i will update later. mmm.... I hope this isnt going to clog pores since it has lots of surfactant in it, but it sounds like most MUAer are happy with it, so lets hope i will like it too.

Was my favorite deep-cleaning mask for a couple of years. Good results with little amount, could be a turn off for people with sensitive skin, though .
At the beginning feels like face is going to burn down :-))), but after that skin is really cleaned and soft.

I LOVE THIS. OMG it is the only mask that has ever ever ever worked on me - it has actually made my pores smaller! They're not totally gone, and I've only used it once but they are so so so much smaller now! My skin is just beautiful. I left it on for the full 30 mins as recommended, and it really did go very tight, and very tingly. I have sensitive skin, so after I took it off, my skin was a little red but it calmed down relatively quickly. A little expensive, considering the jar isn't big, and you need to put quite a bit on, but absolutely worth it. My holy grail! I love Ole! EDIT: Well, a few weeks later and it is STILL so good. Makes my skin just so smooth and soft for days afterwards. I've been using it twice a week and the jar is still half full after 4 weeks. I'm also finding that using all the Ole products at once, that they are working in conjunction with each other. So happy, Ole's products are great!

i like how my skin feels nice and tight during application - it feels like the mask is really firming up and closing my pores! AFter i wash this off, the pores on my nose DO appear smaller. WOW! If you have oily skin give this a go...it really helps to clarify congested skin. WARNING::::sensitive or dry skinned people should stay far far far far farrrrr away. This does seem like a very harsh mask for dry skinned gals.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this mask, of course it's expensive and of course you quite need a lot. So I just gave it four lippies. But still I will by it again when i run out of it. Use it usually twice a week and even though I have dry skin and after using it the first time i was like "okaaaaay, is this doing anything good or is it just making my skin even drier????" But surprise, even though it makes your skin feeling really tight, and I mean TIGHT, after washing it off, skin looks radiant and calmed down. Dry skins should leave it on for the minimum of time recommended, you do not want to be too harsh, do you? No red blotches or dry spots. But of course you have to moisturize extremely well after use. That's why I recommend using it in the evening. Also I am getting a facial every three or four months and I have some enlarged pores at my nose that are a little clogged. Last time I went I had used the mask for about a month My facialst pleased how the pores on my nose gotten smaller and weren't clogged anymore, and also I see the difference. Of course, it takes a while, using it twice won't make a difference. I started to notice that some atience with my skin and the products I use helps. Before i started withe Henriksen i switched almost every month. I am very picky and I wanted results fast. But skin is not that fast and renewals take time. Especially when you're not a teenager anymore. I am in my mid-twenties now. N-E-ways, I didn't tell my facialist what product I used because she distributes another beauty brand and I let her believe it's the mask I bought about a few months ago at her place. Actually that one did not do nearly as good as Ole did. So don't let the price keep you off, it's really worth it. And you get something like a little aromatherapy as well. The smell is quite nice. Packaging is a little messy. It comes in a jar.

I love this mask! It makes my skin feel tight, and I glow the next morning. I use it once a week so the jar has lasted a while. And, I really like the smell. My only complaint is that I have to be very careful to keep it far from my eyes or it stings.

This is a great product! It tightens pores, dissolves any impurities lodged in the skin and really brightens and firms. You can feel your face 'sucking in' it's so firming. Temporary of course, but fun nonetheless. I use it 1-2 times a week. My only gripe is the packaging. It comes in a tub and I hate sticking my fingers in it. I love for it to come in a larger size tube...oh well, you can't have everything.

I use this mask once a week after exfoliating with the New Beginnings scrub. My skin feels nice after this routine but I can't say the mask produces any radical improvement to the appearance of my pores or skin texture. The mask dries to form a very taut coating. I also find that by the 20 minute mark, my skin feels a little warm and reactive so I have reduced the application time to 10 minutes despite the recommendation on the packaging. Perhaps sensitive skins are not such a good match with this mask. I don't particularly enjoy the sensation of the quick drying mask on my skin and it takes a bit of effort to remove all traces. I probably won't purchase another jar and will try the blue/black berry enzyme mask next time as it may be better for hydrating. I don't have overly large pores so I can't speak to the effect this mask may have on those that do have this concern. The other mask was not available in Brisbane at the time I made this purchase.
