First OPI polish, so I don't know how much of this is 'normal' for OPI.
The colour is surprisingly neutral - a grayed pistachio. Seems to go with everything! You'd think "green nails - wow!" but no, it just blends and looks fairly conservative.
The consistency has become fairly goopy. I've had this for 8 months or so and it is getting hard to work with. Also, the cap disengaged from the brush so it is now very fiddly to work with.
On me, coat one is streaky and coat two is creamy and opaque. Nice shine to it as well. It does usually chip on day 3, with a top coat, but touch ups blend well.
For me, this was fairly pricey.
So, on the fence. Like the colour. Packaging was a bust. Probably keep looking.

Alot more green-ier than I expected. This is my first OPI polish and actually havent found anything amazing about it, the application was horrible, took anywhere from 2-4 coats to get it right and by the 4th it started to get very gooey and wouldnt dry properly and chipped within minutes. I'd descibe the colour as a light olive green or a very very green-nude colour which isnt flattering at all on my NC10 skin.
Wish i'd of done some more research on this colour and would not repurchase again either.

This is one of my most worn polishes and is a no-brainer color: one I grab when I'm not quite sure what to wear. It's perfect because it's work appropriate but still interesting. It's one of those edgy neutral polishes that I love so much. It works beautifully with my cool-toned skin tone. The mint green nail polish trend doesn't work for me - it gives me lobster hands - so this moody pistachio color is a nice alternative.

This is a sage green color that pulls more grey in some lights and more green in others. The finish is really cool and unique for my (sizable) collection. It has a neat sheen that's not super glossy... It's kind of satiny. For that reason, I prefer OPI Stranger Tides to Essie Da Bush, although they both look very similar.

I took off one star because application is not the greatest; towards the end of your manicure, the polish can get kind of gloopy regardless of what you do. But overall I love this color, as well as all the Pirates of the Caribbean colors. As a side note, if you love murky greens like this one, OPI Suzi Takes the Wheel is another great polish!

This colour is an interesting pale grey and sage combination. Leans more so towards green though! In the store under the lighting it appeared more of a mint green so I picked it up. I was a little surprised when I got home but upon trying it I really like it! It is a nice change from all the dark greens, and mint greens that are so popular right now. Formula is creamy, and certainly good especially considering it's such a light colour. The wear was decent didn't chip with a top coat for over 4 days. It seems to be flattering on my NW15 pale skin, but would also suit tanned skin nicely I think.. I would repurchase!

I love this green, it's like military green (well the pale version). But in the spring when I wear a lot of khaki colors it's great! Lasts a long time and it gets many compliments. It's a cream, this shade shines because of the glossiness!

This is a pale grey sage green creme polish. I love this color. It is super unique. The formula is really nice. I liked it best with two coats.

This is a lovely sage green and leans towards the pastel creme finish. It's a nice colour on my skin-tone at the moment but I think it would look even better during the Summer with a tan. The formula was fairly easy to work with but being a pastel, it had a patchier formula but I didn't experience any streaking. It takes a bit more patience/effort to apply this and I used two coats until I was satisfied with the finish. I have it on now with their Silver Shatter polish on top and it's a fabulous combo.

I was extremely skeptical about this colour, but I got it anyway as I purchased the whole colllection but suprisingly when it arrived - stranger tides was the first one I wore. I was extremely suprised that i actually liked wearing it, but after a day I didn't really. It's a really unique colour, sometimes it can even look like a really pale olive green. I'd read rave reviews about it's aplication and was a LITTLE dissapointed, although it was very workable. I used three coats as it was a little streaky - but only if you don't have a very genourous amount on your brush.

A very beautiful, pastel sage green (with grey undertones). I reminds me of a much lighter version of Essie's "Sew Psyched". The first coat is a bit streaky, but with 2 coats I achieved a beautiful opaque finish. With a topcoat, I didn't chip for about 4 days. If it wern't LE, I would not hesitate to purchase again!

This is a lovely dusty sage green nail polish which is surprisingly flattering on my skin tone and doesn't make my hands look reddish at all. It's certainly an unusual color, and I really like it! It's edgy but still fairly neutral. Application is a little finicky - a tad streaky, but it evens out at three thin coats and a good topcoat since it doesn't level out that well. Wear time is about two to three days before it starts chipping. I would recommend it to anyone who would like to try wearing a green for the first time.

Very interesting colour which I adore. It's kind of a neutral pastel green with greys in it. I think the colour is so pretty and perfect for fall. I'm trading in my super bright summer polishes for new fall ones and I thought this was perfect. Got it for 30% off at Trade Secret.

This is an unusual colour for me. I usually stick to sheer or vamps; nothing in-between. Stranger Tides is, as others have already stated, a green-grey, murky polish. It looks okay on my warm skintone. I have this in the mini bottle and the brush makes application a challenge. First coat was a streaky mess, but creamy and opaque by coat two. It dried quickly and wore well, but I'm not sure it's a shade I'll reach for again. This is why I love OPI minis for unusual colours.

I love the unusual color of this. It's pastel but it has a murky quality to it. Like the other polishes in the Stranger Tides collection, the formula is fantastic! When I was doing my nails with this, a wet nail bumped into something, but I just dabbed my brush a bit at the dent and it evened out beautifully, like nothing had happened!

Wonderful colour by OPI! Limited edition too!

I found this to be a unique colour, grey with a touch of green.

The formula I found was a little streaky for my liking, so do multiple thin coats is best.

Sea foam green, my pale skin makes it look super grey, I don't really love it, but as a neutral colour that you could wear for everyday that's a little bit different it's not so bad.

This is another one of those shifting colors that changes depending on the light you're in. To me it looks like a greenish-putty color, but can vary between grey, taupe and green depending on the type of light.

I needed 2 coats to get the desired opacity. Unfortunately, this still chipped on me within 3 or 4 days of wear, like most OPI polishes I own.

its such an interesting color... grayish green and fits so well with Skull& glossbones from the same colection. I have MINI package and I dont like the brush because its harder to get perfect flawless finish. It lasts long time with top coat and looks great in many different lights.
