Love this duo! It's a duo that does fall on the common side of combinations of NARS's line and fail to impress in the pan. However, this duo is GORGEOUS on me! The glittery sheer white has a nice texture which has little fall off and the cool bronze is a great neutral color. Also, unlike so many NARS duos, this can work by its own. $33 is quite pricy for two colors, personally, but the quality and the performance of the duo definitely worth it!

I'm a huge fan of Nars Duo Shadow compacts and own several, but have resisted purchasing any new duos since Summer 2010... that is, until Exotic Dance! LOVE this duo! So simple yet very stunning!
The metallic white is brightening and has an unexpected texture with sparkles added (and these are not "glittery" bits either). I find that the best results are coaxed from this shade by pressing the shadow on rather than swiping. This style of application allows more of the sparkles to show and results in smoother appearance of its translucent pearlescent base. Swipe on under brow bone for a sheer effect.
The gold is gorgeous as well. It's bronze-tinted which lends the subtlety of an antiqued quality and is the epitome of a summer shadow, working wonderfully with bronzing products.
Both shadows are creamy smooth and blend well, making this one of the most unique neutral palettes I've ever owned. Exotic Dance is easily office appropriate or may be built up and used with a darker liner for sultry summer evenings! For a stunning day look, try lining this duo with the lighter shade of Cordura... gorgeous!

As of now I believe this is LE. Out of all the items I purchased from Summer 2011 I had no expectations for Exotic Dance. In the pan it failed to impress or excited me so I left it alone for a few days while I played in the rest of my order but once I pulled it out I was really surprised at how pretty it was once applied. The white shade becomes kind of a glow about the eye and has very fine shimmer to it that you may miss at first. It catches the light for sure so it is best applied with a light source to avoid mistakes. The gold shade is light and fairly neutral for a gold. I do not find it overly yellow and the metallic NARS calls it really shines indoors and out but is not frosty. I like to wear this with the white shade crease to brow and the gold on the lid and blended into the crease. Apply a little black mascara and you have a neutral eye with a little twist but is still work appropriate. I think if you applied these wet they would have a lot of pop but as of now I've not tried it. Goes great with the bronzer/blush/highlighter palette also from summer (laguna, orgasm, albatross).
