I am reviewing the SPF 50 version. It's a great daily sunscreen. It is almost identical to MAC Prep and Prime SPF 50, a little bit less drying but with similar oily absorbing property. One of very few sunscreen with high percentage of ZnO doesn't leave white cast.

I'm not a big fan of sunscreens because I normally find their texture too thick for my liking and left an icky feel on the skin. When I first applied Skin Visor on my face I was disappointed at how sticky it initially felt, however it quickly dries out to a silky smooth finish. It doesn't feel or smell like suncreen either. Like previous reviewers have mentioned, it makes an excellent make-up base/primer. Even better, it keeps my skin matte even after a day under extreme sun when sebum production increases. I have an oily T-zone which makes me reluctant to use any sort of cream on my face, however my T-zone remains shine-free (this has never happened before!). I am so in love with this product and will definitely keep this in my daily regiment.

I got this product in the SPF 50, which I understand is different from the 30 in that it is more broad spectrum. When applied alone (after cleansing), it sunk in quite quickly and left my skin matte - a good make-up base. However after an hour or so it made my skin quite dry and felt like I had a mask on. The next time I used it, I put it on after my usual moisturiser - then it worked a treat. Left my skin looking matte all day! Also, no breakouts as yet...very pleased. Will buy again.

I love (love, love, love) this product. I went to Nordstrom to pick up Stila's retexturizing scrub and fiddled with Skin Visor while waiting for the associate to ring up my sale. I saw that it was SPF 30 and expected some thick gook to come out of the tube. (In my experience, the higher the SPF, the more it resembles paste.) I was so taken aback by the lightweight consistency of Skin Visor, though, that I had to reach for the bottle again just to verify I saw "SPF 30," not "20" or "15." This is also a terrific price for the quality protection (active ingredients are Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxides--aka, "the good stuff" [also good for sensitive skin]). On a side note, I find Skin Visor imparts a lovely glow (probably because of the mica) on my skin. It's not shimmery or glittery, just "glowy." I have combination skin with a slightly oily t-zone, but I haven't had any problems. Unlike with Origin's SPF 25 face sunscreen that was thick, gloopy, and broke me out horribly, my skin's been doing fine with Skin Visor.

I recently purchased "Skin Visor", which as been re-released as a part of Stila's new "Petal Infusions" line. I've recently become concerned with wearing a daily SPF to keep my pale skin nice and pale. However, many sunscreens over SPF 15 leave me with stinging, teary eyes. I was desperate to find a sunscreen to use on my face that wouldn't bother my eyes, and Skin Visor is it! It smells faintly of play-doh (I'm not sure if it's always smelled this way or if this is a new thing due to "Petal Infusions" aromatic properties) and is easily applied. It's neither too runny nor to thick. I have found that it can sit on top of my skin a little if my skin is dry, so sometimes I really have to work it in. It doesn't make my skin greasy or oily. My foundation glides right on top. This is definitely a product I will be buying again.

I'm on my second tube of Skin Visor. A very good titanium dioxide sunscreen for my sensitive-dry skin. It can go a little bit too greasy for normal/oily skin, but I love it. It's my staple during colder months. It goes on sheer and leave a nice smooth, moisturizing (not tacky) finish. It contains a little bit of fragrance but it doesn't bother my sensitive skin. However, just like any other titanium dioxide sunscreen, I do have to blend carefully, if not it'll leave white streaks. $22.00 USD for 2.5 oz is not too bad for high-end sunscreen.

This sunscreen never greasy and soak into skin nicely, frangrance free. This is a very nice sunscreen but with this price, I expect more. I hope they add some antioxidant, like DDF.

This is one of the best daily sunscreen i have ever used! Does not smell, is not too thick and disappears into the skin nicely! Kinda makes me wonder if it is protecting my skin tho...its SPF 30. Also makes as a great primer as my make up goes on great on top of it!

This sunblock is great. I love how light it feels. It quickly absorbs into the skin and didn't make me look oily.

I got this last summer, and it really helped to keep my pale skin pale. I liked the fact that it was SPF 30 and really didn't feel like anything on the skin. You know how you can 'feel' sunblocks? Well, this was light and I could hardly feel it. I was able to wear it under my moisturizer and really had no problems with it. However, I still stick to my Kiehl's UFM spf 15 for most days, I wear this when I know I am going to be really out in the sun, not indoors all day. FYI - I have combo skin.

I would have to agree with another reviewer--I also didn't find this sunscreen to be totally matte. For the $30 pricetag I expect more than a cheap looking tube and a not so impressive formulation on already existing products out there that are found for much less.

I have to admit that this is by far the best sunscreen I've tried although it's not totally matte. I guess finding a good sunscreen for oily skin will always be difficult since they tend to be a bit greasy. I am very happy with this item since it's the least greasy sunscreen I've ever found. I'll purchase this item in the future again.

This sunscreen absolutely sinks into your skin without sitting on top and messing up your skin so makeup doesn't go on well. I love that about this product. It has an spf of 30 which is amazingly protective. I don't know if it offers UVA protection. This recommendation is based soley on a sample I had sent to me from Nordstroms. My tube of skin visor should be here in a day or two. One final note...it didn't have an odor like sunscreen and I loved that as well. However Jeanine Lobell managed to create this product is beyond me. Any sunscreen for the face that I've tried has always seemed to sit on top...and let me tell you....I've tried tons!
