I'm not so great at describing scents, but this screams lush, verdant and a little spicy. I loved it upon first sniff, and was thrilled to find it on sale one day. I quickly discovered to my disappointment that it has no staying power. The scent actually seems to disappear by the time I've walked out the door even after pumping about 6-7 sprays all over me. No one has ever said anything about the smell or asked me what perfume I was wearing...presumably because no one has ever actually smelled it on me! It just really is a shame because the scent is so perfect for me.

This product smells fresh and green. It's so nice. But the staying power is terrible. It disappears after about 30 minutes... This needs to be offered in a more concentrated form.

The listed ingredients for Nu Green are: "ruffle of crumpled green mint leaves, enveloping dewy grass with Indian botanical musk, clumps of monastic medicinal tarragon and cedar wood."
I guess I am one of the lucky few who is able to smell this perfume. And it smells beautiful. Nu Green smells very, very wet. Dewy grass indeed. There's no sweetness here, and the green is not classic green, nor sharp nor dry, it's just ... wet. I do detect a hint of bitterness (anise-like), must be the tarragon. Nu Green feels 'thirst lessing', and is perfect for warm summers, I wish I could just drink it. The minus is the lasting power, I have to admit. It's gone in about four hours, but when sprayed in hair or clothes, it lasts longer.

Honoré des Prés is is to my knowledge the first perfume line which sports an eco-certificate, praising their perfumes 100% natural and even organic. No animal testing and no animal products have been used either. The perfumer employed for this line is Olivia Giacobetti, so needless to say that I was greedy to get my hands on some of their stuff. Nu Green, is one of the first scents I have tested, sadly it didn't win me over at all. To my nose, it has a leitmotif which very strongly reminds me of cleaning fluid, the same impression came up when testing another scent of the line "Sexy Angelica", with Nu Green, the cleaning agent that came to mind, is the one that is used to clean glassy surfaces (Ajax or so). Very sorry.
