Great gloves. Simple and easy. Even when I'm sleepy in the am, they're still quick to use. Leaves my skin very soft. Also feels good to use them: very invigorating!

I've used exfoliating sponges, brushes, scrubs an gloves since about 14-15 years old. I'm not quite sure why people rate these so high. Where I live they cost $9, while a pair exactly like them can be bought for $3. Second: they aren't longer lasting than a cheaper alternative. I once bought a pair of gloves from H&M for $4. They were rougher, thicker and MUCH longer lasting without getting holes.
Bottom line: yes, these are better than nothing and cheaper than body scrubs, but they are too expensive for what they are when you can buy the exactly same thing for 1/3 of the cost. I promise you, if your going to buy THIS TYPE of gloves, it's NOTHING to splurge on - just buy a cheap pair - it will be just as good. This is not a unique thing.
.
BTW: if you want something in the same quality, but a little rougher, you can try the ones from Soap & Glory or Earth Terapeutics (I think they are the same type), but I think they are a bit expensive. The H&M ones are my favourite though: cheap and rough (for those who are used to exfoliating gloves with every shower); they are made from a different material.
I have sensitive skin, but after using exfoliating gloves on my body for so many years, the skin on my body isn't sensitive at all to rubbing/scratching.

After reading the reviews, I get this product on nearby TBS.
And it really works!
Does no harm to my sensitive skin and very easy to use.
My back-acne also gradually disappear and you will get smooth-silk skin after you use it.
Highly recommended :)

Love the gloves! These are a great product for the shower. I use them all over, except for my face. They work great for exfoliation. I really like to use them to scrub my legs before shaving. I get a TREMENDOUSLY great shave and baby smooth legs! REALLY great for that summer tan, helps keep that dead, dull skin away. Obviously, you need to go easy in the sensitive areas of your body such as around your boobs and inner thigh areas. You'll hurt yourself (rug burn-style) if you're not careful and scrub too vigorously! (ow!)

I agree with everybody here that exfoliating gloves may change your life! I have very acne prone skin because my skin doesn't naturally exfoliate well for some reason. I have tried body scrubs and puffs and all sorts yet nothing compares to these. My body acne is gone, my ingrown hairs gone, my legs glow with radiance. I even use these lightly on my face because they work far superior to any face scrub i've used. And I have _really_ sensitive skin. I've used sensitive scrubs and little scrubbing brushes but this feels so much better and doesn't send my face red!

Love this product. It is a good exfoliator. And it is easy to use because it is like you're just rubbing your body with your hands. So it obviously wins in the ergonomic design category.
I've used this with shower gels, bath gels, soaps and natural soaps (ose dudu/ african black soap)
My only qualm is that it doesn't lather up that well although the body shop site says it will increase your lather.
It does get rid of the dead skin cells a lot better than a body buff and it is very easy to use

God I love these gloves. They have seriously changed my skin for the better. They work a million times better than any body scrub I've ever owned. My skin feels so much cleaner and softer after using these--also way fewer ingrown hairs on my legs.
My only complaint is that they're a little small (but I have long fingers) and they would never fit men's hands. Also, if you're not careful I could see these stretching out/tearing/unraveling easily if you treat them roughly. Luckily they're pretty cheap so it's not the end of the world if you ruin them. Definitely worth a try!

I love these gloves for the back of my arms, it really smooths the bumpiness out, doesn't work quite so well on my thighs but there's a definite improvement. They're better than any scrub I've used at any rate!

Back in my uni days this pair of gloves actually got rid of my back acne. If you are on a budget and looking for an effective exfoliator for your body, this is it. It always gives me soft, smooth skin and so easy to use since it well "fits like a glove" and wouldn't slip off soapy hands.

I totally forgot about making a review about my all time staple for several years - these gloves.
So here goes:
I use them, whenever I'm showering and always get compliments on my skin (I'm 41).
Soft, smooth, clear, radiant skin - is what I get.
Since I use them almost daily, I tend to forget what worth they have in my beauty regime. However, not bringing them along a 2 week vacation makes me miss them alot more than anticipated, and I see my skin getting a bit rougher and dryer.
I've tried several kinds of Exfoliating remedies from lofas to brushes, but I've ended up repurchasing these gloves as they do the best for my sensitive skin.
Will never stop repurchasing, even though they last a long time and are really inexpensive.
What they do to skin is magic.

I really like these gloves. They exfoliate well and you can use them with every body wash! They last a really long time too but sometimes I find them too rough for my skin.

I LOVE these and repurchased a couple of times, but they last a long time! My problem is that I lose them somehow when moving houses etc. I use these with body scrub (mainly on my legs) for exfoliating and helping to remove ingrown hair. Definetly worth your money!

I've bought various versions of exfoliating gloves from supermarkets, discount stores, beauty stores, etc, thinking how different can all these gloves really be for the Body Shop to charge more? Well, there really is a difference. The BS's version is more abrasive so I feel like I'm actually giving myself a proper exfoliation. The elasticity in the BS version is superior so that it fits my hand better and has better traction/grip on my body so that when I'm rubbing back and forth, the glove doesn't feel like it's losing grip on my skin with the glove going one way and my hand the other. I also find the glove lathers up really nicely; obviously not to extremes like the pouff, but I don't need that amount of lather. The BS glove also maintains its shape and lasts way longer than cheaper gloves on the market. I like the nice touch with the hooks on the gloves so that they can be hung in the shower. I also really like that these are gloves rather than pouffs, loofahs, cloths, etc as anything in glove/hand form is going to be easier to use as it'll enable better grip and maneouvreability.
In terms of exfoliating power/abrasiveness, there's only the Salux cloth that beats the BS gloves for exfoliation, but unfortunately, the Salux only comes in a cloth and not as gloves, which makes it quite hard to use and which means I'll always have the BS gloves in my shower.

AWESOME. The Body Shop frequently holds sales so I got these for free. They don't lather up like regular fluff loofahs but they exfoliate quite well, particularly if you are using them with a body oil or other emollient type bath-substance. They are a little too rough for facial use but excellent for everywhere else. Highly recommend.

I always get complimented on how soft my skin is and I put it down to using the gloves daily and obviously moisturising after a shower.
The Body Shop gloves are definitely the best ones that I have tried. I have tried cheaper versions that I have bought at the drugstore or at the supermarket and they dont seem as robust. Either they don't exfoliate as well and / or they fall apart really quickly. These last forever! I had my last pair for over a year and only threw them out because the elastic gave. The gloves were still firmly exfoliating though!!
These are seriously the best. I keep repurchasing.

Its a nice alternative to buy a body scrub, it can be used with regular shower gel and it does the job. It doesnt hurt the skin but it exfoliates nicely and its good for everyday. Plus it as really cute colors, my pair is in ''bubble gum'' pink.
