I think this is called "Sprunch Leave in and Mousse" now, it is the same as my beloved Catch the Waves Leave in and Mousse. I use it for after the shower, makes my hair completely frizz free and shiny but it takes a lot of the volume, this has been the only product ever to tame my wavy hair, making it normal looking enought to wear it au naturelle outside my house, this used to be my HG and I am beyond happy to see it back.

At one time in my life, this mousse was a HG product, I don't use it anymore but I still remember it's awesomeness. I have thick, frizzy, wavy hair, I used to straighten it all the time when I was young because I didn't know how to take care and enhance my wavy hair. This mousse along with some gel/cream/spray products from Sunsilk really made me realize how beautiful my wavy hair can be. It enhances and defines my waves, I still get some frizz but it wasn't too bad. The best part, it leaves my hair touchable soft, as if nothing was in there! I still haven't come across another mousse that does what this one does, it's really an amazing product!

I have straight/wavy hair. I've been using this mousse for a year already and i love it . It really defines your waves, and even if your hair is straight , it magically creates loose waves if you sprunch your hair after applying. I love this mousse , and i don't think i'll be switching to any thing else ! (:

I have very thick, coarse, dry, naturally wavy/curly hair. On my hair this isn't very moisturizing, so it's not the best leave-in conditioner I've ever used; that's why I'm taking off a lippie. It would probably have better moisturizing properties for someone with a different hair type, though. I do, however, love it as a mousse. I usually hate mousse because it makes my hair crackly and doesn't really hold my curls. This stuff adds soft definition...lasting definition. What I really like about it is that it makes for great second and third day hair. My hair is too dry to wash every day or even every two days, so I can't wash and restyle often. With this mousse, each day my hairstyle looks as good as when I first styled it or mutates into something even better, with little to no effort. I'm not sure if it does much for frizz yet; I've mainly used it in the fall/winter, when there's no humidity. I've never found a product yet that really beats summer humidity. We'll see.

My favorite mousse for years. Creates the perfect waves with out that crunchy look that I seriously despise. Smells great and make my hair silky. Even when I wet my hair before washing it with shampoo, my hair feels very soft. I wish they made a bigger can of this! I go through it pretty quickly. I will still continue to re purchase though

I removed 2 lippies from this product because of it's "supposed" moisturizing properties.
I didn't feel like it added any to be honest, nor would I continue using it just for that.
But when it comes to the waves, definitely is amazing! It really managed to bring them out and give it that natural wavy look. I just wish it could have soften my hair or even help me with knots...

This product is FABULOUS! It leaves my hair soft and shiny. It my makes waves/ curls gorgeous! It does not make my hair crunchy like other mousses do and it moisturizes just enough! I LOVE it! HG mousse for sure!!!!
EDIT: I took of a lippie b/c I found a better product. I really don't even use it anymore. But it still is a great mousse, I just don't use it.

Just like rasputin, I too am writing my first review, just to talk about how much I love this product! I bought it today because I needed a good leave-in conditioner and literally the moment I put it on, I could tell that it gave my hair more body and moisture. I have subtle waves but dry my hair straight and I honestly love it anyway. I feel like the girl in the commercial with the voluminous healthy hair, I will definitely be buying this product again!

this is my holy grail hair product!! i have medium-thick wavy hair, that gets really frizzy. This is my product!! i use this almost everyday. It defines my waves, helps the frizz look like well waves rather than frizz and it doesnt harden my hair like gel would. It makes it softer! it says to use it while your hair is damp but i use it while it is dry. Shh!! it works though! The only thing that i hate about this is the smell. The smell in the bottle is fine. But after you put it in your hand, it smells sooooooo strong!! It smells like the poline center of a really strong smelling flower. But then after you put it in your hair, its not that strong. LOVE THIS STUFF!!! only 3 bucks!

This is my first review ever but i had to sing the praises of this product! I have very thick, naturally wavy, course hair that tends to be a frizzy mess. This mousse works perfectly. It reduces frizz, defines the waves and holds them for longer than other products i've tried, even very expensive ones! I just run it thru my hair after showering, let it air dry, and that's it. I highly recommend, especially if you have the frustrating hair type i have :)

I have to start paying attention to things much better as I bought this as a leave in conditioner/mousse not really focusing on the "catch the wave" part of the name in the product. I don't have any natural curl or even a hint of a wave in my hair, it is stick straight. This is working well though. Gives my hair soft body and it looks a little shiny. When I combed my wet hair, it was still tangled so I am not sure how much of this works as a leave in conditioner but as a mousse, it is working well. No waves necessary.

This product is amazing! I have naturally wavy hair, and I use this right after I take shower. Usually without this mousse my hair becomes frizzy, flat, etc. With this mousse, my hair is less frizzy and had defined waves.

I usually only use creme gels for my hair but lately it's been looking blah so I thought I'd try something else. I've used this product 2 times so far and both times I've really liked the results I got, however, for some reason while it is drying it doesn't look nice but as soon as it's dry it looks great. What I was looking for was something that would keep my waves and especially bring them out on the top layer of my hair which tends to be frizzier, also I need a bit of volume on my crown to even out the volume on the bottom from the curls. This product gave me all over even curls/waves and enough volume on top without any sort of crunchy or sticky finish. I'll update if things start to go south but so far so good and for the price, I'm very pleased.
UPDATE: Been using this for about a year and I do like it but the hold is a little to flexible for me. Although I like that it is so light weight it doesn't add any extra wave to my hair and on days when it's really windy or I touch my hair more it just can't keep the curls like a gel can.

This is my go-to hair mousse and have repurchased this product so many times I lost count. I have tried other mousse that has left my hair feeling dry and crunchy, but this one does none of that. It is light weight and doesn't leave any funcky residue n my hair, no flaking. It leaves my hair feeling soft and silky. Definitely buy this if you want to manage your hair and not have it feeling dry and crusty!

I've been using this for over a year now and I love it! Doesn't weigh down hair at all, and it smells really good- I recommend using the leave-in foam- Blow-dry hair until hair is about 90% dry, then put the foam all over hair, and scrunch. Creates gorgeous beach waves.

I'm on my second bottle of this, and I still love it. I shower at night and work it through my hair, then let it air dry before I go to bed. I love this because it gives my natural curls a little more spring, and it's also a leave-in conditioner, which helps because my hair can be dry sometimes. The price is awesome, too. This is my go-to product.

My hair naturally wavy, fine yet very thick (lots of it), and prone to frizz. I apply this product to wet hair with a heat protectant (Tresseme) before blow-drying. I usually use this product on days that I leave my hair wavy, so I also combine it with a scrunching gel and only blow-dry it about half-way. On occasion I will also use this mousse on days I blow-dry my hair straight.
This mousse leaves my hair feeling soft and silky. It provides some frizz control, but if you have really frizzy hair you'll probably need an additional anti-frizz serum. It doesn't seem to affect the amount of wave in my hair (hence the need for an additional scrunching gel on my wavy days), so I think it would work for most hair types and styling techniques. Just think of it as more of a leave-in conditioner than a curl-enhancing mousse.
The price is great (about $3 at most stores). My only complaint is the packaging: the clear cap was nearly impossible to remove the first time, and I've never been able to get it back on all the way! But as long as I don't travel with this product, it doesn't matter. (And maybe I just got a defective one, I'm still on my first can.) I'd still recommend giving it a try!
