I read reviews on "No More Waity Katie" before buying and was a bit apprehensive, but I loved the color so much I just got it anyways.

The first two times I used this polish, it was a bit sloppy and applied unevenly. It sat in my nail polish collection for a few months before giving it another shot. One day I asked my boyfriend to pick out my nail polish color, and this is the one he picked. I groaned, but figured I'd give it another whirl... and the third time was a charm. I really think it's just getting used to the consistency of the polish. Once you get past that, it's pretty good.

I've read reviews that this polish chips easily, but that hasn't been the case for me. It's not the longest lasting color, but I get about three to four days wear out of it (with ORLY's Bonder as a base coat and ORLY's In a Snap). This polish is quite sheer and will probably require three coats, but I love the color and get so many compliments on the polish that it doesn't bother me. Two layers of top coat makes the roughness of the No More Waity Katie go away and appear smooth and shiny.

I love this color, but understand why some people dislike this polish. it goes on really sheer, but it is a glittery polish, i expected that. it's a gorgeous greige with purple glitter, very pretty and unique. this was my first butter london polish, and it definitely got me compliments. if you can get past the sheer formula (i needed about 3 coats), i'd definitely try this out. it might look pretty over sally hansen's greige gardens.

Love the colour and the subtle glitter, hate pretty much everything else. As others have said, patchy, gloppy application and chips easily. The fact is, this is a $17 product with a quality that not even wet and wild would put on the shelves. When you pay that much, you kind of expect to not have to resort to "tricks" to make it work in the only function it was created for. I'll be passing butter London up next time.

I purchased this with a gift certificate and happy I did. I absolutely adore the color, but you do need 3 or more coats, which I don't think you should have to do with a higher end polish. Also, even with my beloved base and top coats used, which make all my other polishes work wonders, this chipped the next day. I have drugstore polishes that are way better than this. I don't own a butter london polish with a cream finish, so I don't know of it's all of the formulas, but for sure, this glittery polish does not work well for me. I will continue to use it, because I adore the color, but only on days where I plan to switch my polish in a few days.

No More Waity Katie is a unique, glittery mauve-purple with light purple sparkles. This is one glitter shade that could be pulled off in more conservative office environment. The shade is beautiful but the consistency is what disappoints me. It's very thick and goopey. When I applied each coat it either glided on way too sheer and uneven or way too thick and goopey. In total, to achieve opacity, I applied 4 coats to get the finish I wanted. No Waity Katie was my first experience with Butter London and I hope the others are better quality. I am happy I have the shade in my collection since it's such a unique color, but I doubt I'll repurchase. Just can't warrant paying this price point ($14) for this quality. I recently purchased 5 Butter London colors blindly during a sale, so thankfully, I did not pay full price. Overall, I don't recommend unless you feel the shade of the polish outweighs the quality of the polish. I just can't get past the lackluster quality.

My first BL polish purchase (along with Knackered) and I'm quite disappointed. Online and in the bottle, this looks like a pretty periwinkle blue color with silver sparkle. On the nail, it's a sheer purpley/grey color with purple sparkle. I had to apply 3 coats to get the opacity I wanted, plus it still applyed very patchy on certain nails. I applied my normal topcoat and the glitter still comes through so that the surface of your nails is not smooth.

Chipped after 2 days.

Packaging is also a bust. I had to enlist my DH to open the bottle since the cap was so difficult to remove. I think this one is going back.

I absolutely love this shade. Yes, it is a little difficult to work with. But to get the shade in the bottle without layering on the glitter, try layering Zoya's Caitlin underneath. I just did it and it looks exactly the same as the finger with just NMWK. Zoya's Caitlin is also a beautiful color. I love it and after watching the royal wedding I just had to get this color. Layering with Caitlin will probably make it easier when I remove it too since there will be less glitter on my nails.

So the color looked very pretty on the outside but when i applied it on nail for the first coat it looked very sheer and color is uneven. Then when layered on more, it looks like a strange color purple that is more uneven. I would not buy again. I will be sticking to OPI. I feel like nail polish that claim to be higher end don't work as well as OPI or Essie.

I was thrilled to see that The Bay in my area started selling Butter London. I decided to make the $17.00 splurge and buy my first bottle. The mixed reviews caused concern but I loved the idea of a greige polish with lavender glitter so I took a leap of faith. I'm glad that I did because I really love this polish. I didn't find it to be goopy at all. I had to get used to the smaller brush and not scrape off much polish before I applied it to my nail. It gave the coverage that I wanted in three coats (similar to one of my favs, Essie Chinchilly) and the glitter is more visible than I thought it would be. It looks great with a top coat. I look forward to buying more of these polishes!

I didn't actually buy this, I got it for Christmas. I really loved it in the bottle and I was extremely excited to use it. However, I was disappointed. The glitter is covered by the purple base so it's kind of strange looking. I feel like maybe if I layer one coat of this over a lilac colored polish it would look decent but I wouldn't buy this product.

Yuck. In general, I love Butter London products and the quality of the product. The polish looks gorgeous in the bottle with its cool lavender grey base and a glorious amount of silver glitter. Unfortunately, it does not translate well on to the nails at all. The base is jelly and very sheer and also really gloppy! I found it super hard to get an even coat that didn't goo up all over the edges of the nail. The glitter is also challengingly chunky and sticks to the edge of the nails. It's like having a sawtooth blade on the tips of the nails! Other reviewers also note that you need multiple coats to get a decent look, which is true at which point the color is deep, but hides the silver of the glitter and leaves just a bumpy finish. Beautiful color, bad execution!

I am on the fence with this one. The color is unique and interesting. It is a very wearable color without being boring. However, it is a lot of effort to put on. I did a base coat, three coats of polish and then two coats of top coat. After one coat of top coat it still looked a bit on the dull side. After all that effort, I am not really blown away. The look is nice but not nice enough for all that time and effort.

Boring colour on it's own. Haven't tried layering it yet. The formula was quite good and the polish easy to apply. Did get my Katie from a reputable seller, but still find it boring and just blah!

Pros:
Fairly unique color and texture - lilac macro glitter encased in a mauvey-taupey purple. You need at LEAST 3 coats to achieve an even consistency and color on the nail howver.
Love the name although I suspect Kate Middleton wouldn't have liked this color much - so not her color.

Cons:
As it applies unevenly and the glitter is large you cannot use this layered over an other nail color base - it would just look weird.
This polish chips TERRIBLY which is surprising as glitter polishes tend to stick better to the nail and last a few more days over regular polishes. I had chips after one day, by day 3 I had to take it off and reapply as it looked terrible- and yes I used a good base and topcoat with it.

I wouldn't repurchase this. I was very disappointed about the staying power of the polish. When I compare it to another glitter polish (albeit a completely different color), Chanel's Graphite, Graphite would win hands down. I could say that even if Chanel's Graphite was twice the price it lasts 3 x longer on my nails.

Interesting color. Lots of glitter think that is why it goes on kind of thick. I will say that it eventually chipped after 4 days but that isn't bad in my opinion. Pricey nail polish but a good splurge if you are so inclined.

Well I have to be honest, I love this colour yes it takes a good 3 coats to show through but its soooo pretty when it does. The glitter is sutble and the colour is grey ish mauve on me. No major hardship taking it off compared to some glitter it just takes a little bit more time.

Lovely color, unique among my polishes. My only complaint was the glue like consistency during application. I did end up thinning this out considerably and the consistency was still gloopy for lack of a better word. I do like Butter London and will continue to buy when they have a shade I enjoy but if this bottle were to fall off my counter and break I would not rebuy this or even try to save it.

No More Waity Katie is a polish that needs at least 3 coats...I think I will go 4 coats next time. The first coat is super sheer it looks like transparent lavender tint with glitter but the more coats the more the smoky lavender color appears. The glitter is pretty chunky which surprised me and the texture is a bit difficult. That being said...I love this unique polish and am willing to deal with the work. The formula does dry extemely fast so thats great because it's a quick 3-4 coats compared to most other polish brands. Then the next evening after applying this it chipped in big chunks which sucked.

I bought this for the name, but I love the unique colour of this! Yes, I agree with the reviewers below me that it does take 3 coats. But, hello? It's glitter! Glitter does take a few coats to apply to make it look even! If you use the Butter London base coat and topcoat this will last you a while. I would love to own a second bottle of this.

Ok, I've got to bump these reviews up. I just purchased this polish and applied 3 coats. It's lovely! I don't understand the negative reviews. It did not apply goopy, or thick at all. The brush is great. Not as wide as OPI, and not as small as Essie, it's somewhere in between. It allowed for a perfect application. The color is so unique and I love it. I haven't tried removing it yet, but I'm expecting it to be difficult, after all it is a glitter. Get this polish from a reputable seller, I'm guessing the poor reviews were eBay purchases?? My polish seems nothing like what others are describing.
