Wow! This stuff works. I have should blade length wavy on the verge of curly hair.

I put this in my hair when it was damp, and it immediately dried my hair in exactly the places that I put it. One side pushed slightly behind the ear; the other side slightly bent over my shoulder. It did not move after, lol.

I never used a product like this before. The only critique is that it must be smoothed in if you use it on dry hair, or you might get white stuff looking like lice in the hair, or clumping. But on damp hair? The results were amazing. There a lot of crunch but I got great second day hair. I used a bit of Yanagiya to soften it. Also, it's true that you can re set this with water.

This stuff stands up against the elements. It's the most amazing thing. I've never considered using this on my hair, until a friend of mine suggested it to help with humidity.

I'm surprised. I might try other kinds of ... I don't even know what this is, really. A glue? paste? pomade?

I have thick, very coarse, wavy hair that soaks up humidity in this heat like a sponge. No matter how often I use the flat-iron, or tons of gel and hairspray, my hair would revert 5 minutes after stepping outside. It would get very poufy, frizzy and wavy. This Garnier Survivor Hair Glue is the only product that controls my hair. It's true that you can't comb your hair after using it, but my hair has stayed so well that I've have only needed a patting down. My hair feels only slightly crunchy, less than with regular gels. My hair stays straight and frizz-free. Today, I went out into a drizzle with no umbrella, and my hair looks the same as after I left the house. I hope that this product is NEVER discontinued!!

I bought this last night instead of my usual Got2Be spike glue, because I was looking for something that styled my hair without making it rock hard and sticky. Well, this is not the stuff. This looks like pure conditioner, it doesn't have a paste/putty-like texture at all. It smells great, of course, but it does absolutely nothing for me. I'm going to try to take it back tonight and just get something that I know will work. Boo.

The product did what it was supposed to do, held my hair firmly despite tropical dewpoints. However, it was a nightmare to wash out! Two washes and handfuls of conditioner later, its still not all out. Worried about hair loss with this one. The label isn't lying, this IS glue!

At first I didn't know what to make of this new product - they call it "glue" but it's really more of a dry-finish paste. The non-sticky claims are true & I find that it dries extremely quickly, MUCH faster than regular hair gels & glue products.

I first applied it to dry hair (dime size dollop) - didn't do anything much. It gave my hair a bit of a rough, matte texture, not a whole lot but noticeable. No super-strong stiffness. Directions say to use it on wet hair. For reference, my hair is a chin-length bob & most often I like to scrunch it into beachy curls.

So I applied it to wet hair as directed (quarter size dollop) & it quickly held my strands together as I scrunched it. When I scrunch upside-down, I got lots of volume in my hair. It air-dried really quick. This will be great for out-the-door styling, especially in summer when I run out the door in the morning w/wet hair that air-dries on the way to work.

In wet hair this paste really glues together a nice wave/curl pattern that HOLDS. After it dries, there's no way to comb it - it's completely glued together. Crunchy hair? Well yes, but that's fine w/me (except that it makes my hair feel prickly to the touch). I had re-wet my hair to see how the product would re-style my hair - it came out kind of raggedy & matte, no neat curl pattern, but again it air-dried surprisingly fast. So it doesn't seem to be re-moldable, but more like a 1-time-use before shampooing.

Interesting product - I would call it plaster for the hair. I do not like Got 2 Be Glue'd (which is very popular) but I do like this. Will continue to use - it serves my purposes for sculpting hair into curls w/volume & a nice shape. I like that it helps hold curl into my lazy wavy hair.
