I have combination, acne prone skin, and I was looking for a morning cleanser to get rid of oiliness, help with my breakouts and enlarged pores, and leave my skin feeling clean and refreshed. I think I found it! It claims to "help matify your skin while keeping it hydrated, balanced, and clear of imperfections. control shine for up to 8 hours.
I have porcelain skin, and even the slightest of imperfections show up like they're being magnified 100x. This was great. It's a clear gel that is very light and refreshing. It's perfect for the morning. I don't have to worry about shininess or excess oil. The texture of my skin has improved. My skin isn't dry or irritated or red. I haven't been breaking out! There is no offensive smell either. Such a great cleanser, possibly even my HG! :)

When I was a teenager, this was the best cleanser for my acne-prone skin. It has a nice smell and is creamy in texture. When used regularly it cleared up my skin beautifully. Only downside is that its drying and I had to use a lot of moisturizer to balance the effects which probably counter acted the pore clearing benefits.

After formulation change, it did not work well on me anymore. It leaves a residual feel on my skin despite much rinsing. I have since dumped into the bin after using twice after opening.

I like this because it foams well and it doesn't dry out my skin. I use less than a pea size and after rubbing it in my hands, it's enough for my whole face. I don't really like the packaging though. The lid is tight and hard to open.

i bought the whole acnopur set (they dont have trial kit or samples here =() after my friend recommended the products for my acne prone skin. it was definitely a waste of money cos my skin gets worse and starts to itch and develop rashes. i guess the range not suitable for sensitive skin like mine. my suggestion is try samples first before you buy the full blown size to see if the products suits your skin. but i will never buy anything from biotherm again.

Again I would buy this again because I already have another tube waiting for use ;)
I like this cleanser. I think the trick is to lather it up on your hand first before you wash. I like the smell and the refreshing feeling it leaves behind. Another good idea is to rinse thoroughly so the face is pretty much dripping, and to not pat the face too dry (especially if you're going to take a while before using the toner/ clarifying lotion, like I do because I tend to do my hair etc). When I do that, my face isn't taut. Otherwise when it is tight-feeling, it's only slight and doesn't bother me - you just have to use the toner.
This takes off makeup rather well and has helped to improve the texture of my skin.
I've been using this for less than 3 months (including the rest of the range) and most of my pimples have lessened to a great extent to the point it's almost clear (just a few scars left behind, but that's no biggie to me).
Again, set back is the price. $42AUS for 3 months and my cleanser is almost finished. I have never finished a cleanser so fast before. Contrary to some of the reviews here, I actually use quite a lot of cleanser because I find that too little has very little cleansing power - I like the feeling of washing my face and completely covering it up with white.

I bought this last summer during a horrible breakout. The Biotherm SA insisted I should buy this although at the time I was going to buy a cleanser from their Hydra Detox line as opposed to this, based on MuA reviews..... However being me, I couldn't really say no to the SA and bought this and other stuff she recommended instead =PP..... Since then I've been using this once a day (usually AM. Before I go to bed I use a cleanser from Orbis' whitening line). It has a strange but not unpleasant smell and you only need a tiny tiny bit for it to foam up. I've been using this for half a year and I reckon there's still at least 50-60% left so it works out quite cheap. It's one of those cleansers that give you a total squeaky clean feeling so a good toner and moisturiser are a must! This definitely hasn't contributed to any breakouts and I do feel that my skin has improved a lot since last summer ALTHOUGH I don't think it's largely due to this. I changed pretty much ALL my skincare products last summer and have stuck to it since. It works really well for me =)) (fingers crossed I'm not jinxing myself!!!!!!!) Anyway that was a bit off topic hehe! Acnopur Cleanser is all in all a decent buy but nothing so special about that would make me re-purchase.

I like it but it is a bit expensive. It is not so bad even if you have sensitive skin.

It is a cleanser that is nothing special accoding to me. It does cleanse nice the makeup but it has an unpleasant smell and is a bit too strong for sensible skins. I will not buy again , i prefer the Clinique cleansing foam and the Estte Lauder foam cleanser.

My mom has used biotherm products for years on her super-sensitive skin (it's the only thing that works for her) so when they released the Acnopur line about 3 years ago I snapped it up right away. My acne has improved alot (although not completely) and even after this long the product still delivers. I get a lot less pimples than I did before using Biotherm, and it didn't irritate my very sensitive skin as most products do. The only thing is that you do have to put moisturizer on right away as it does dry your skin out.

This is a fantastic cleanser. Definately does what it claims to do. I have acne blemish skin type, and this helps clear up blemishes. I have tried absolutely everything and so far seen the best results from this cleanser and the whole Biotherm range. Love the biotherm range.

I had a facial at the Biotherm store and everything felt great then so I bought it all. The cleanser worked for me for a few weeks (curbed the oiliness, some pimples, but not all). But after about two weeks my acne came back with a VENGEANCE and this only aggravated it. And the store gave me hell about taking the things back even though at the time of the sale they said if you're not 100 percent satisfied bring it back... what a bunch of hypocrites. Ever since the store manager stared me down, I am a die hard hater of Biotherm and would celebrate with a bonfire on the beach when they go bankrupt.

this cleanser is very effective for oily/combination and acne skin, i have been useing this cleanser for one year, it works very good for me. it helps reduce pimple , oil-free, and it would not cause shine on you T-Zone area. my face is getting clear than before. also, this product brightten up your face color( getting whitter). Use the same collection toner after cleaning, that works perfectly together. the price is fair, it is much better than proactive solution.

I've been using this for about a year now, and I love it!
I'm not sure if it helps clear up my skin, but I also keep in mind that it's a cleanser. I don't really expect it to show drastic results on its own.
It smells great, lathers well, and takes all my make-up off!

Simply fabulous!! Love it so much. Although it's pricey, it's really worth it. It leaves my skin fresh without the taut feeling. Great product for combination-oily-blemish skin.

If you tend to build resistance to antibiotics/antibacterial stuff in general, I would stay away from this. I think most people with acne (who have tried many products/treatments) would not benefit from this because our skin is designed to resist triclosan. I used a bar of regular antibacterial Dial soap on my face before, and that cleared up my skin better than this ever would (but of course the Dial soap stopped working after a while). Otherwise pleasant smelling, it has a good consistency, feels nice on the skin - just not worth its price tag.

For everybody who has a gripe about the triclosan-- triclosan is in most household cleaning products, as well as most antibacterial soaps (which I'm sure everybody uses). Aside from that, this is my HG cleanser. I have pretty sensitive, VERY acne-prone oily skin and all I have to do is wash my face twice a day with this cleanser (I don't use toner or anything else; also I wouldn't reccomend washing with this cleanser more than twice daily, it might be too harsh for some skin types). My skin has definitely cleared and for the first time, I'm not worrying about acne-- just the scars. Definitely will repurchase.
PS. I've been using it for about half a year and it's worked great. But if it stops working or starts to aggravate my skin (like some users commented below), I will update.
