This is a review for the Equate Exfoliating Wet Cleansing Towelettes with Cucumber, Aloe and Green Tea. I'm normally not a fan of specialty makeup removers, brand name or otherwise, and I tend to use them only in a pinch or while traveling. This one, however, is a keeper. The ingredients are calming to the skin, they are neither too wet or too dry, there is no obnoxious scent and the dimpled surface pattern really does help exfoliate. I use these to remove facial masques, and they work great even for getting off mud/clay-based products. For me, this is the first facial towelette I've purchased that doesn't feel or smell like an over-priced baby wipe. I will definitely repurchase.
The ingredients are as follows:
water, cetearyl isononanoate, ceteareth-20, alcohol, glyceryl stearate, glycerin, cetyl palmitate, ceteareth-12, propylene glycol, chamomilla recutita (matricaria) flower extract, centaurea cyanus flower extract, cucumis stativus (cucumber fruit extract), camellia oleifera (green tea) extract, tocopheryl (vitamin e) acetate, aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) leaf juice, fragrance, methylparaben, propylparaben, sodium citrate, citric acid, disodium edta, 2-bromo-2-nitropropane-1,3-diol.
Although the FDA, WebMD and other sources claim that parabens are not a proven health risk in the quantities people are typically exposed to, I have deducted one lippie because I wish the formula contained an alternative preservative. Aside from that, this exfoliating facial towelette merits HG status in my book!

I ran out of my usual CVS brand wipes so picked these up since I was at Walmart. I have to use two of these wipes (as compared to one of the CVS brand) to clean off makeup in addition to having to use Lancome BiFacil to get off my mascara and liner as these don't remove it all. Also, I must have picked up a refill package as there is no way to reseal these. Sooo disappointing. I'm really kind of glad that I have to use double the quantity of wipes because it means I will run out sooner and get to go back to my CVS wipes.

I do makeup for stage and buy lots of make-up wet wipes.
I bought several packs because of the great price, $5.
Have always used them for shows but in a pinch I used one the other night. What a pleasant surprise! It actually did take all of my makeup off. Personally, I love the exfoliation. Also, the green tea, cucumbers have really calmed my skin. I know you aren;t supposed to use these every night...but I do!

My husband mistakenly bought these instead of my Equate 3-1 Cleansing Towelettes, and though they were nice, it just wasn't the same. I do an exfoliation once a week, but I use towelettes as makeup removers. This was too abrasive for just simple makeup remover, but I also thought it was too rough for exfoliating. They removed dirt, sweat, and makeup, but this was too harsh for my face. I like Equate products, though.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these makeup remover towels. They're such a steal! For just under $5, I picked up the 60 count package that came in the awesome resealable tub (well worth the money!)
I love the bumpy texture...they're really gentle, they make my skin feel cleaner than any other wipes I've tried, & they're GREAT at removing eye makeup. Thankfully, I don't have to scrub my eyelids off anymore with these... There's also 120 count refills for around $6

I am reviewing the ones that are called Micro-Exfoliating Cleansing Cloths that are compared wipe to Olay Regenerist Micro Exfoliating Cloths. I started buying these because my favorite YouTube guru, nguerriero19, recommended them. I get them @ Wally World for under $4. These are really good wipes, they don't leave a film on your face and they are pretty good at exfoliating, although it's not like you scrubbed your face after using them, just thoroughly cleansed. I have gone through a pack already and just started on my second. I think they do a pretty good job of taking off makeup, I use them a lot when I spend the night at bf's house and I don't wake up with smudged mascara or eyeliner in the morning after using these, but I don't use waterproof mascara. I have used higher end wipes but I really feel like these are just as good if not better and they are much cheaper. Oh and they also have the plastic lid closure instead of the resealable tape which was a huge selling point for me :)

These are great!!! They do not take all of your makeup off, you'll need a cleansing oil for that but it gives me a good head start for ultra stubborn make-up. Some wipes dry you skin out or are very rough. These are extremely soft, and moisturizing.
As a word of caution, the lid sometimes pops up so be sure to close it tightly until you hear the lid *click*.
