Absolute savior during pregnancy. When my skin started to stretch and chap during my fifth month, I started using a special pregnancy anti-stretch marks lotion. It did not help, so after two weeks I went to a pharmacy and bought a fairly expensive cream, again specially tailored for pregnant women, and again to no avail – my skin was getting worse and I was desperate (seeing what pregnancy did with the tummy of my 22-years-old cousin and imagining vividly mine was going to look the same). Then I figured that if a lotion or cream was not enough, an oil might help, and because I had good experience with Weleda previously, I purchased their Pregnancy Oil and started it using religiously twice daily. And a miracle happened: The stretch marks on my tummy disappeared within one week and did not appear again! I swear!
Because I tried out two lousy products before Weleda Pregnancy Oil, I can state with confidence that it was not the case "you have good genes, you would not develop stretch marks and if you did, just about any product would help". I did develop stretch marks and it was clearly and unmistakably this product that made them go away. It's been four years and I still feel grateful when looking at my absolutely stretch mark free skin. I cannot recommend this oil enough and I would give it 10 stars if that was possible.

Notes: Using the oil once a day might be sufficient, especially during the second trimester (using it in the first trimester in not necessary in my opinion unless your tummy grows extra fast). Later on, you may want to start using it twice daily – I would actually recommend that for guaranteed effect. You do not have to use big amounts, just as much as sinks in comfortably in five minutes. Be prepared though that you will use up about three bottles during the whole pregnancy.

I used this oil through my pregnancy and it helped until the last month when I got a few small strech marks. The downside is that it smells bad and the glass bottle packaging.

I've been using this from the beginning of my pregnancy, twice daily. The smell is rather awful, but it got a bit better as my pregnancy progressed. It is nice and moisturizing, and I can imagine it helping a bit in avoiding stretchmarks (although I don't believe anything REALLY helps in avoiding them...). It sinks in pretty fast as well, but I started using a cream instead of this oil in the morning to avoid stains on my clothes. As I'm only 4 months gone now, I will update regularly.
EDIT: I'm 7 months pregnant now, and still no stretchmarks =D! I do alternate with the Palmers pregnancy oil as that smells a lot better ;).
EDIT: 8 months and still not a single stretch mark =D
Edit: 9 months and no stretch marks... <3
LAST EDIT: I have given birth last week and guess what? Not a single stretchmark =D!!!
