I have gotten this as a gift and I totally love the packaging and the texture, but I can not say the same about the color.
The product looks luxurious in a sleek brown tube with gold trim and a Tom Ford logo on the packaging and the lipstick. It has a medium durability and lasting power. The formula is not drying and quite rich I would say, it is nicely moisturizing, but not as a good lip balm would. It is not sticky or tacky, goes on smoothly and does not get clumped in the corners of the lips or the creases of the lips.
It is a very bright orangey coral, I would even say it looks like neon orange in the sunlight. With my NW15 pale alabaster skin it looks too bright and I do not fancy this type of look.
Maybe if I wear something bright or get tanned it would look nicer. I believe it would look nice on the beach with a bright swimsuit.
For the lipstick itself I would rate it as 5, but this particular color does not win me over, so 3. It is a tad pricey considering you can get the same thing from MAC or BB, but I guess you pay for the packaging and the brand allure in this case. Not repurchasing because of the shade.

This colour is absolutely beautiful, "True Coral" is a bright rich red-coral colour & really compliments my NC40 tanned skin - I also think it could look just as lovely on any other skin tone. I love the creamy texture of this lipstick & because of this its not a hard colour to apply. I like to pair this lipstick with a shimmery bronze-gold shadow... perfect & wearable for both day/night. Its quite pricey but I'd say definitely worth the splurge!

Ok so I was after this lipstick for a long time. Finally found a website that ships for a normal price. When I received the lipstick I was taken back by the classy packaging, very very nice. Opened it and took the lipstick out, it feels so luxurious as it weighs heavier than other lipsticks out there. I feel this adds to the overall look and experience. Let me tell you that it's not a cheap lipstick but if the product is good I'm willing to pay for it. On to the lipstick itself, well it is an absolute gorgeous colour. It instantly brightens my face and it stays put for a very long time. On a whole day I had to touch up one time. I ate, I drank lots and it stayed put. It is not drying and the colour intensity remains. I've worn it now for 3 days in a row and I'm in love with it. When it finishes I will definitely repurchase. True Coral is a beautiful lively colour, I pair it with simple eyes as I want my mouth to draw the attention. It made me feel so good and when I looked in the mirror I was instantly happy, hahahaaa. Again not cheap but definitely worth it. When you want to treat yourself this is what you should get...

NM just opened the Tom Ford counter a few days ago so I had to go check out the makeup line and fragrances. I'm a major lipstick and lipgloss wearer so I headed straight to the lipstick colors I had heard so much about. I have medium olive complexion so the True Coral was the color I selected that the MA apply. Wow! It instantly brightened up my face with a rich and moisturizing hue. It's definitely one I'll wear often and I love the packaging - black and gold. So elegant. As for the cost? I'm a believer that if it's something you'll wear often and for a long time it's worth it. I see that with this color. The coral is a color you'll be able to wear year 'round. Love it!

LOVE THIS! The packaging is beautiful and the colour is very bright and pigmented. This would look good on someone with a warm skin tone.

O. M. G. The packaging is to DIE for. Weighty white with gold trim square case, I swear I'd just flash this in the bathroom purely to show off. The white doesn't leave fingerprints either which is good. The product itself is a very, very pigmented coral and it lasts and lasts. Seriously. Don't wear white clothes with it, in case you have an accident, cos it is BAM! Very bright. If you don't want to freak everyone out, it is possible to sheer it out a bit or blot to give a less bold look. It is also not the most moisturising lipstick on the planet, so do you homework and prep your lips. But if you chase satiny/semi matte lipsticks, want something bold, and want to splurge, get this. I don't know if I can bring myself to buy another one, but for what I got, I am totally blown away. For reference I am asian NC35.
