I am SO SHOCKED at how many people hate the scent! It must be a body chemistry thing because I think it smells like delicious fresh peaches and it has never even crossed my mind that it smelled like cat urine! I ADORE this as a facial moisturizer! Others have mentioned the texture, which is quite unlike anything I have ever used before. Once it absorbs it is quite light and never feels greasy. It does take longer than most to absorb, but I find the trick is not to massage it in too much. I spread it around my face and then allow it to sink in for 30 seconds or so and then pat any places where I can still se it. I am generally quite sensitive to skincare in general and this gives me the moisture I need while not aggravating or causing breakouts! I'd say.....TRY IT! For the price it is absolutely worth it. I have been using this off and on for 8 years or so. I'm a brand whore so I like to try new things but I have always come back! If I had to think of a downside it would be that the pump bottle is hard to find in Canada. Either way it's a great value though! Love it!

i.... think this moisturizes well, but i am totally unsure of why it smells like cat urine or old win-o piss with some people's body chemistry. I'm really put off by it and being that there seems to be a 50/50 chance that it will stink, they should just take it off the market and reformulate it. seriously. i really dont know where i'd be able to wear this because i def can't do it when a man is around or go to wok smelling like i have a problem. i guess i'll just have to throw it out i suppose.

I love this facial moisturiser. I have very sensitive skin, and the AHA's are not too harsh for me at all. I got it for around 4 dollars at London Drugs, and I use it every day. I've noticed a decrease in black heads and flaky skin since using it.

I bought this because it was on sale for $2!! Lol so I grabbed 2 and went home with some very yummy smelling lotion. Jumped on makeup alley to check reviews and saw that people were using this on their face because the AHA in it is suppose to be good for your skin. I took a look at the back and it did say for use on face and body so I thought ok I'll try it on my face and see how it goes. Well it went great! Lol it's non greasy soaks in fast and makes my skin really soft and i believe it has helped with my skin tone?? A little goes a long way cuz it kinda lathers up, lol but its a good moisturizer and I will continue to use both of them up. Glad I grabbed these based purely on price and scent, who knew it would have been a lil secret weapon against my uneven skin tone :-D

If you're like me and don't like sticky and heavy moisturizers, this is a great one. This is perfect for the summer because it leaves no sticky feeling behind at all. Albeit, the initial texture is a bit strange, it starts out streaky, and when I first used it, I was a bit concerned it would never absorb. So you do need to spend a couple of extra seconds rubbing it thoroughly into your skin. Once you do though, it seems to disappear. I use it on my face occasionally, and I haven't had any problems with it. I do believe the percentage of AHA in this lotion is too low however, so I haven't seen anything major in terms of exfoliation on rougher areas like elbows and heels. I'm neutral about the smell, it smells like fresh peaches to me, no strange undertone at all. I'm not the biggest fan of fruity scents though, but it is by no means horrible.
The value on this is really good for the large amount you get, and I find it to be a good multi-tasking moisturizer.

Just bought it today, so I'll edit it tommorow if I've noticed anything different with my skin.

First impression: The description is pretty nice, and overall looks pretty cute. It's on the rich side (which makes me feel like I'm deliberately putting oil on my already-oily face), so I wouldn't use too much.
The smell is ok... a little on the bad-smelling side, but tolerable.

LOVE this moisturizer/exfoliator - it's so hard to find a good one for acne-prone & oily skin.

I put this on at night - and wake up looking better than I do with other products - and it's done better for my acne & marks than other products as well.

Definitely a must-have for me!

I like Kiss My Face products. They are not tested on animals and they tend to be gentle. This lotion, however, was not. At least, not on me. I understand this is a new formulation of this lotion? It does make me wonder what the previous formulation was like. I liked the scent of this, it really does smell like fresh peaches. I also experienced the texture to be thick and difficult to rub in, leaving white residue that fades if you leave it alone. I'm not fond of the tube this comes in. The opening is a blocked by a little ball of plastic that you have to remove before you can squeeze, and that thing is a stubborn little bastard to get out of there. Then once you do, the lotion has a tendency to slowly leak out into the lid, so that every time you open the lid to squeeze you get a puddle of lotion leaking out first. So I have to store the tube so that the lid is facing upwards to prevent gravity from doing its work. It's a minor annoyance and wouldn't lower my lippie grade so much, except that this product also burns. It really stings on application, worse than 12 percent AHA from Alpha Hydrox for a point of reference. I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror about thirty minutes after applying this, and my skin was lobster red. It faded, but I think the next time I try Kiss My Face it will be a different lotion.

Okay, so I tried this on my body since some others have had better luck with that. It didn't sting my body like it did my face. However, I woke up in the middle of the night to the worst smell. I thought my cat had done it at first. Then I realized it was me. The lotion had transferred to my nightie and it reeked of ammonia. I think maybe the peach scent turns sour when it gets transferred to fabric. Whatever the reason, this lotion is just a miss for me.

Not my cup of tea. This smells delicious, but thats just about it. It doesn't seem to get absorbed by the skin easily at all.

Hand down - the BEST facial moisturizer I've ever used in my life!

This stuff has improved my skin drastically and it smells AMAZING now that they've reformulated all of their products, probably because people were saying it smelled like cat pee before.

But yeah, it smells like fresh sweet peaches and I'm seriously in love with this. I think it's so cool that it sort of lathers onto your skin for like 2 seconds and then it just stops and it soaks into your skin, I love that!
Everyone needs to try this!
It's perfect for ANY skin type. And the AHA in it, will help your skin produce new skin cells more often to help promote healthier, more glowy, younger-looking skin :)

Love my life <3

I bought this just as a body moisturizer, because my face is SUPER sensitive and I've never been able to use anything but olive oil/castor oil on it. I have really dry skin, and this was making my arms and legs feel AMAZING...so when I read on the back that it can be used for your face as well I gave it a shot.

It is the best thing I have ever done for my skin. I think this stuff is especially good for people with really dry skin, because it's so thick. My skin broke out for the first few days, but now it is clear and soft and actually glowing.

Although it smells super nasty (totally agree with the cat pee comment!), I love it and I can't notice the smell as much if I put it on right after I get out of the shower or wash my face.

Liked the smell of the product but this moisturizer made me break out. I have acne prone, combination skin and this moisturizer was ok on my face for about an hour until it got all oily and thick.

Edit: my face hates this now, it's currently the only thing that could be exacerbating my now mostly clear skin. Maybe they changed the formula? Smells the same, but scrutinizing the ingredients, I realize that this is only partly "natural". I think Isopropyl Myrisrate (2nd ingredient, and in most of the stuff that breaks me out, I've learned). Designated to a below the neck moisturizer til it runs out.

Yummy edible scent, love the 4%AHA it has. I have yet to find any of the Kiss My Face lotions I dislike. This is the one I like for my face. Doesn't break me out, or irritate and it really is moisturising. Nothing miraculous where wrinkles are concerned (I can see baby lines at my age), but I do like this.
I'd buy again and recommend as a basic moisturiser

Oi! I love this stuff. This lotion does wonders for my dry skin- and helps me avoid razor burn.

The smell is just fine, though not as lovely as some of their other scents.

SMELLS AWFUL! I picked this up (the body cream one not face) because I wanted to try something with an aha and my skin loves sugar ingredients so I figured I would give it a go. It reeks, smells like old fermented fruit and pee, I can smell it if I just stand near the tube. Ok on to the product, it's actually not bad if you can get past the smell. The application reminds me of a sunscreen it applies very thick, dry and almost with a white cast to it. It dries very quickly which is nice, when I use it my skin does not immediately feel softer or more moisturized, it's the next day after showering off the stench that I notice a difference in my skin. Don't think I will repurchase because of the scent, if you like the smell get it because besides that it's actually quite nice.

Oh the smell is horrible! I bought a 4 oz tube to use at work, but I'm scared of using it at work because the stink is so bad.

I definitely think this product deserves two thumbs down and if you work in a scent-free workplace, DO NOT buy this product! Your colleagues may complain - the scent is just "the pits" (not peaches).

A pretty good moisturizer but this is more lotion than cream. I kind of like the smell but my boyfriend thinks it smells like cat pee LOL so I can't wear it to bed anymore like before.

Update: Two days after I wore this lotion to bed I could still smell it on my sheets when I pulled back the cover. Beware buyers, beware.

I bought this lotion about a week ago, to use primarily on my face every other night to help with exfoliation. Last night was the first time I put it all over my body, I wanted to help with some of the bumps from shaving the day before. After I slathered it all over I got into bed and dozed off. My boyfriend came into the room about an hour later and when he pulled back the covers he said, "It smells like cat urine in here." I laughed and told him about the lotion.

Overall I really like how this lotion performs, it doesn't break me out and absorbs quick (although it does look white for the first 15-20 seconds after you apply it), it's mild yet effective for frequent, light exfoliation. But, I've decided to only use it on my body when I really need it, as I don't think it's going to help my relationship to smell like animal pee all the time. I'm going to continue using it on my face every other night, as this small amount doesn't seem to illicit thoughts of urine. It is confusing to me that the company doesn't change the scent, since this urine smell is obviously not an isolated incident. I used to use Vaseline health complexion before it was discontinued, which was a gentle alpha/beta hydroxy lotion, and while it had a strong citrusy scent, it never solicited comments about urine. I will buy this again because it's effective, and if they would fix the scent issue, I would give it a much better rating.

I absolutely love this lotion. the 4% AHA REALLY makes a difference. this moisturizer is the first one that has given me NOTICEABLY softer skin, in addition to just adding moisture (all other lotions lol). it smells AMAAAAZING! sometimes i just slather some on bc i LOVE the smell sooo much. the only sort of con i can think of is that you have to work wwith the product, as it takes a little effort to rub in, but in my opinion, it's totally worth it :) highly recommended.

This is the best smelling moisturizer I have ever used. EVER. I guess I got a really good batch of this stuff because mine doesn't smell rancid or like urine at all haha.It smells like fresh, fresh, fresh ripe peaches and whip creme.Yummm! I could almost bite my skin because it smells like the real thing. Anyways, this moisturizer is not thick. It seems thick at first, but it absorbs into the skin within seven seconds. I personally love moisturizers that absorb super quickly (especially in the summer) because really rich moisturizers make me feel too sticky and greasy and incapable of touching anything for hours. This moisturizer is perfect for the summer-- it has a fruity, sunny scent and is very light. I will obviously buy this product again!
