Staple product. Period. I prefer the regular, but went ahead and bought the matte to try. The matte looked terrible on me. So, in order not to waste any, I began mixing the matte with the regular. The result is pretty perfect; not as shiny as I can get with the regular, and not as egregiously dull as I can look with the matte. From what I can tell, the matte is not only matte on me, but a slightly different shade from the regular. Thus, different skin tones will react very differently. I think that the matte is likely a better bet for people who look good in gold. Regardless, what an amazing product! It makes my skin look like a dream, never dries me out, and protects me like a high-end sunblock should. Winner, all around.

Great product! I wanted to get something with good spf during the day time and this is the perfect tinted moisturizer that goes on matte and keep the oilies at bay for most of the day (this is the matte version). It does not break me out with daily use. I usually get breakouts from tinted moisturizers and this one is definitely great! It has spf 45, which is amazing for sun protection. In addition, there is antioxidants and my skin has definitely improved since using this product. The only downside is that it is expensive. Just keep in mind that there is not that much coverage with this product. It does give you a good match for my skin tone, but does not cover much. If you are looking for moderate to full coverage and don't have oily skin, I would recommend Jane Iredale BB cream.

I have been searching for a perfect tinted moisturizer with significant SPF for a long time, but the search is over! This product is perfect: 45spf, matches skin tone beautifully, light coverage and great moisturizing. It's fairly sheer, and can look a little greasy at first, but my skin drinks it up, and I get comments all the time on how great my skin looks. This product on a clean, moisturized face (I use Hauschka Normalizing Oil and a dash of astringent) is perfect! A little lip gloss, and I'm out and looking good! LOVE this stuff!!

Clogs pores. FYI I didn't use the "matte" version. Just the regular intellishade one. And I didn't find that it evens skintone too well either. Left my skin feeling oily.

Hmmm....well, I finally tried what all the hoopla was about and really I'm not too impressed. I've had better TM's than this at a much lower price. Not much coverage, flawless look (not!), and I don't really like how it goes on. I am using the original version and I have to say I'm really disappointed. I have only used it once, so I will give it a few more times...perhaps I'm just having a bad face day. Will update if my opinion changes....but first impression is one of being unimpressed and my advice, pass it up! Way too expensive for disappointment. I wish I could have found samples to try first:(

Edit: Gave it a few more tries and gave it away...ugh! This stuff is expensive junk. Better to let someone else have it that actually likes it rather than throw it in the trash.

For me this is the absolute best SPF I have ever tried and its the ONLY one I can wear every single day without drying out my face. I had been searching for a daily SPF for years and I had literally tried them all. They would work for a while but then my face would get totally dry. I have Rosacea so it is important to wear sunscreen all the time. Well, I tried this about 2 years ago and I loved it from the beginning. It is not drying at all and it really protects the skin. I have been wearing it every single day and I still love it. I wear Everyday Minerals on top and my skin feels and looks great. I will keep buying this and hope they never stop making it.

I really want to hate this tinted moisturizer because it's difficult for me to get and it's expensive but I always come back to it after trying every other TM out there. I even do a side by side test on either side of my face and check in a few minutes and the Intellishade always shows the best results.

I have tried both the Regular the Matt version. I like both but if your skin is dry or lined avoid the matt. I can only use it successfully after going through the OBAGI skin regemen which smoothed out my skin and fine lines. Before it would deposit in my lines and large pores and look cakey.

Ok I am huge fan of using tinted moisturizers and sunscreens as I hate to use heavy make up daytime. I have tried nearly ALL you can possible imagine from dirt cheap to $$ ones.
For me the best ones from all I used are the ELTA UV Physical SPF 41 / Merle Norman Sheer Defense SPF 15 and THIS one.
The ELTA one is for more oily skin…in winter this can be drying for my skin. The color is lighter than the RI ( around MAC 15 ) and also this is quite matte. For summer I definitely prefer this one than any of the other 2.Coverage is medium.
The MN is the one that have best coverage and best color match for me ( is neutral beige around MAC 20 ) BUT I will NOT use this that much in summer b/c of the low SPF. If this had high SPF I will stay with this one from the other 2.
The RI is the one from the 3 that is more moisturizing with light to medium coverage. Color is around MAC 25. The problem with this is that can make my T-Zone oily after few hours so I have to use Guerlain Meteorites on top.I know there is MATTE version so i may try this NEXT.
So I will use those 3 and if I had to stay with ONE I will choose RI just b/c I have dry skin around my mouth and the ELTA can make dry patches look worst.

My skin looks nice and even with this on - and it spreads so easily! I've never used tinted moisturizer before this one so I'm not sure how it compares to other products. I bought it based on the reviews here and so far so good. My only complaint is that my t-zone gets too greasy/shiny after 3 hours. Might be because I'm applying too much, so I'll try to use less and see what happens. I'd prefer not to have to go to the bathroom and blot every couple hours! Other than that, looks great and I will purchase again.

It is hard to believe that this product is actually providing me with an spf 45 because it has none of the unfortunate texture, smell, or whiteness issues that I almost always get with sunscreens. It is a very smooth, light, moisturizer with antioxidants. At first, it seems a little too greasy for my normal to combo skin, but it sinks in pretty fast and definitely evens out my skintone. After about 5 minutes, I apply my Alima mineral make-up smoothly and end up with a nice dewy finish that lasts all day. This is my second tube and it is really growing on me. I just love having a moisturizer, antioxidant treatment, and high spf sunscreen all in one product. Absolutely worth $50/tube for me.

Just started trying this out. A dear friend brought me samples. Thus far, I am LOVIN' it. Looks like it would be too dark at first, but it has a sheerness about it that makes it apply beautifully. I will be buying some soon, but I'm also curious about the matte version of it.
Update: Bought a full-sized tube of this and I'm still tremendously happy with it. The SPF is great. All day outside watching the kids play sports and I am totally protected, plus all of the anti-aging goodies... wow... great product.

So where do I start... I had never heard of this line but was looking at a brochure at my dermatologist and decided to give it a try. The price was a little steep ($68.00 CAD) but it came with high reccomendations. THIS STUFF IS AMAZING! If you are able to find it in your hometown I would say definitely give it a try. It only comes in one shade but has a regular and a matte formula that matches any skin tone. About a month into using this product I noticed considerable inprovement in the overall tone of my skin (without having anything on) and it gave my skin a beautiful glow when I had it on. Great for those summer days when you can pull off no foundation and no need to grab two different shade for when I get tanned :) Great Product *****

This is the best tinted moisturizer I've tried. Its HG for me. I love that it has such a high SPF. Its my face sunscreen and yes it does protect. I was told its one shade fits all and I think it is surprisingly true. The coverage is sheer so that gives a lot of wiggle room as far as color matching. The finish of the product is dewy/glowy. With everyday use it lasts me about 7-8 months.

This TM is amazing. It's a one-color-fits-all shade, and I have to say that I never have any luck with products that claim to magically match my skin color..
.
But this light weight, velvety TM matches my NC15 skin perfectly. The coverage is sheer, but the opacity is really nice. It evens out my skin color beautifully and actually minimizes the look of my pores. It gives me a healthy glow, and I love the wayIngredients:
