I really like this dark mushroom color, however I never rate based on color, but instead I try to rate based on quality.

The quality of this polish is mediocre -- the polish gets thick and goopy quickly, and the nail brush is stiff and small. However, for the price it's about as expected. If you can spare the cash, I would opt for a higher quality brand, such as Essie or China Glaze.

Tyin the knot is a great nail color! In the bottle it looks gray and it will be with one coat, but at 2 coats it's a gorgeous brown/gray color! Great for toes and nails in winter. A winner!

A new, unique addition found during my constant quest for perfect go-with-anything polish shades for my toes! This is a shimmery pewter shade (maybe BE's Bravo in a polish version); a warm grey, in which I even see a bit of pink. Applies perfectly, looks gorgeous, fine shimmery finish. As always, topped with my Seche Vite, I receive compliments and the question "Where did you get your pedicure done?" I especially love this shade because it's so unusual. It's not brown, silver, cool grey - it's not at all like any of the usual shade suspects! Love!

At my local Walmart, "Tyin' the Knot!" was labeled as a new color in the Sally Hansen Diamond Strength nail polish line. What a beautiful color! The name that this color was given is perfect, as it reminds me of the lapels on a groom's black tuxedo jacket. It's a slightly shimmery polish that has just the right balance of black, grey and silver in it. It's a sophisticated color with enough black in it to look trendy yet enough grey/silver in it so as to not look too goth - think of the color of hematite. It went on easily with no streaking and was completely opaque with two coats. I have had this on my nails now for 6 days and have absolutely no chipping or peeling. I can easily see this becoming one of my "go-to" colors and would definitely purchase again. Love it!!!
