The Soft Matte Lip Creams are very nice on the lips but keep in mind they are MATTE products, they will not be moisturizing and they are not like balm. That being said, unlike most matte products, this doesn't dry the lips, in fact, after it dries it feels like nothing is on the lips not balm, not gloss, not a drying lipstick. If anything it almost feels like a cream lipstick. Very lightweight and long lasting. I wore each of these for a full 9hr work day and only had to reapply after lunch. One of the best parts is, unless you are eating or it isn't dry all the way yet, it doesn't transfer. That's right mess free kisses and ring free coffee mugs.
Now on to the color London.
This is a very nice light to mid-tone nude with a slightly warm but mostly neutral undertone. Personally I enjoyed it. I think its a shade that everyone can wear.
Give it a try they are only $4-$6

NYX Lip creams are so cool and smell so yummy. Unfortunately the lasting power sucks and they're a bit drying.

Absolutely stunning my lips but better shade.. Great neutral, think I've found my HG! I hate the stickiness of lip glosses in the warmer months especially, so this is absolutely perfect. I tend to have dryer lips also so this is much more hydrating than a lipstick! Have already ordered more shades of these after looking at swatches online. x

First of all, this smells amazing. Seriously just smells like cake mix and vanilla and everything amazing in the world. I could literally just sit here and smell it all day and I would be happy. Staying power is fine, basically like any other lip product that comes in a doefoot applicator, it will smear. Which brings me to another point I don't like about this product; the applicator. Maybe I'm just biased against doefoots, but I really, really dislike them. The product gets all over the plastic rod connected to the doefoot, application is somewhat inconsistent depending on what parts of the applicator the product touches, etc, etc-- But that's a rant for another time. This lipcream is SUPER drying, and I use a lipbalm before applying. (like you always should when you're applying any lip color !) I thought that the color would be much lighter than what it actually is; a pinkish medium brown, and it dries a bit sheer, (sheer matte? Is there even such a thing?) but it streaks a LOT, especially when you apply more to get a more pigmented and intense color. However, if you use a finger (not a brush, but your finger!) to gently pat at your lips, you can eliminate the streaks and have a more matte, flat finish. All in all, it's a good product at a reasonable price, and I color that I would wear occasionally.
Did I mention the smell?

*NOTE: I posted this same review in the section for the NYX matte lip creams in general.
I can see why for many people, this formula is drying and/or overexposes the cracks on the lips. YOUR LIPS MUST BE EXFOLIATED, SMOOTH, AND MOISTURIZED BEFORE USE! As it is a mattifying formula, of course it will cause dryness on the lips to appear 10 times worse. If you are the type to take good care of your lips, wearing lip balm regularly and exfoliating regularly, this product will be no problem in this regard. The matte cream literally does go on like a very soft, smooth cream, and smells sweet like cake or some other dessert. It feels very soft and light on the lips to the point where I forget it's there, like a mousse, and I LOVE this. By the time it dries, of course it's matte, so it's not necessarily going to feel slick like a gloss or lipstick, but does manage to maintain that smooth feel. However, I ALWAYS use this over a lip balm, and this helps it to not sink into the lines in my lips or dry out too much. Even when matte, it does not turn powdery or dry thanks to that lip balm. I can see how over-application would make it dry to a cracking finish, so make sure to apply only enough to cover the lips evenly. Applying too little, on the other hand, might make it look streaky when dry, so as long as you can apply it evenly, you're good. I would say the lasting power is the same as any other average lip product, and would depend on what you're doing (with lots of eating, talking, etc. it will wear down faster...). A simple reapplication, which many women don't mind doing with other lip products, is all that's necessary, though it may be a good idea to wipe off what's already there and apply from scratch over balm. I own this product in the color London, which is a bit more on the brown side than I thought it would be for a nude lip (exactly the same color as the Mega Shine gloss in Tanned and pretty close to the Black Label lipstick in Beige). Keep in mind, though, that dries to a bit lighter tone than when wet, so in the end, this works out nicely for a nice matte, nude lip. This color is definitely on the warm side, so those with fair skin and light lips will find this pretty dark... Stockholm may be a better option. Price is cheap, so you won't feel so bad to try this and find it doesn't work out for you. A very different yet wonderful product.

My favorite of the bunch.. Very similar to Abu Dhabi and Stockholm. A brown/mauveish finish. Reminds me of MAC Cherish, MAC Brave New Bronze, Wet n wild Bare it All. I like brownish tones since I have warm undertones and I'm slightly tan (NC32). Very natural looking, but tones down my very pigmented mauve lips. LOVE the finish. It was very odd to me when I tried it.. hard to describe but it is a cream that's easy to apply and dries to a velvety/matte finish. Can be drying, but that could just be me because ALL lip products are drying for me.. Love this!
