I lovelovelove this conditioner! I have extremely thick, dry, damaged, curly hair. Other people have complained that this conditioner weighs down their hair but that's exactly what I like about it. It's rich, thick, moisturizing, and creamy. It always leaves my hair soft and shiny. I think this conditioner would suit anyone with very thick and damaged hair.

I tried the whole Nexxus and Tresemme split end line around the same time, and neither worked. I have some very bad split ends and roughness at the tips of my hair. I was hoping to avoid having to get a cut because I am trying to grow my hair out. But really from what I have read online and beauty shows I have seen none of these split end shampoos, conditioners, or treatments work to mend split ends. From what I have gathered all these do is bind the split ends together temporarily, but it will never heal the split ends. Sadly only trims help with split ends.

I've had a great experience with this conditioner! I have pretty damaged hair due to chemical treatments and I'm in the process of letting it grow out. My hair's about 1.5 feet long, so it's pretty long, of average thickness, and relatively straight. I have split, brittle ends. I don't know if this really does "seal" the ends, but I do feel like I'm getting less split ends overall. The conditioner smells AWESOME. It's one of the best-smelling conditioners I've ever smelled and I love sniffing it every time I use it. When you apply it it doesn't feel really "slippery" in your hair as you apply it through your hair, which was kind of disappointing the first time I used it, but after my shower my hair was very easy to comb through, so I know it worked. It doesn't leave my hair greasy or heavy feeling at all, so I don't know what the other reviewers were saying when they said they had that problem.

Awful!! Left my hair greasy and heavy. I did not use it enough times to have an impression on the split ends because i could not stand how greasy it was.The only good thing about it was the scent. But the smell is not enough for me to use this product.

I have medium-length hair that is a medium-thickness and in fairly healthy condition.

I found this conditioner smelled wonderful in the shower, but left my hair feeling dry and brittle. Every time I use it I end up having to put my hair in a ponytail a few hours into the day because it felt and looked lifeless.

I switched back to Pantene which leaves my hair silky and smooth for half the price. I wouldn't buy this product again.

I can't believe all the negative reviews on this product!! I purchased this about a week again and it does what it says, split end binding. After just the first time, my hair felt like it was just cut at the salon! I have long strait black hair, very fine, and limp. i blow dry and straighten every day so i was in need of something to help my hair out, and this was finally it!!! My HG conditioner.

It has a nice consistency to it, not too goopy, and not too watery
Rinses out great
DETANGLES AMAZINGLY!!! this was a big deal to me, we have hard water here and when i get out the shower my hair is a wet knotted mess usually-not anymore!!!
Moisturizes very well, and light enough to use DAILY.

Overall a great conditioner. i have been spending high amounts of money on paul mitchell and what not. Tried all the Sauve products in the professional line and those are all crap.
This is a little pricey, 13 bucks at wal-mart, but worth every penny. Plus it's better then my usual 25 bucks for my paul mitchell.
And you dont need much!!! A little goes a LONG way.
My search for my HG conditioner with a good price, is now over.

my senior year of college i made the grown up mistake of hacking off all my hair and have been trying to grow it out ever since. obviously when trying to grow out hair a big concern is splitting ends and that oh-so-terrible frizzy hair look. i bought this after seeing the actual enlarged footage in the commercial and thought i would give it a try. it's nothing short of a miracle. i keeps my now-long hair split free for months and i've gotten countless complements on it. love this and will re-buy again and again.

I used Nexxus for the first time. my hair felt terrible after using this product. I though it was just my hair so I ask my son to try and he did not like it either.
I am used to Macadamia nut hair care products I will stick to it. and will not buy Nexus again.

I am using the line of the pro-mend now for about 3 weeks, and it's working very well for me. My hair tends to dry out quickly and break easily (in the summer heat) this seems to be helping with that, use with the Humectress deep conditioner once a week.

When I first tried this I hated it. It didn't do anything for my hair but the more I used it the better results I saw. Obviously it's impossible for anything other than a haircut to get rid of split ends but this helped prevent them very well. The texture is sooooo thick I was afraid it wouldn't rinse out, but I didn't have any problems. It also gave my hair an amazing shine, can't say it did much for softness. Also this smells delicious it's kind of like coconuts which I liked a lot. I remember when this first came out there were a lot of negative reviews on here, I think this is a product that you need to stick with to see results. So if you don't like it at first just stick with it for a few weeks before you give up on it.

I don't understand all the negative reviews because as far as I'm concerned this stuff works miracles. I use the conditioner with the leave in treatment and it does exactly what it says it does.
My hair has gone through a lot lately. I bleached it, dyed it like 3 times to get it red, then dyed it back black again in a week. (I know, I'm psycho). And it was WRECKED. After using the leave in ONCE my hair felt a million times better so I splurged and bought the conditioner. I've only used this once and already my hair is nearly back to normal. I recommend this to anyone who over dyes or over uses heat.

I LOVE THIS STUFF!! I would give it 5 lippies but I've only used it once :)

I have been natural for about 3 years and really thought that my 4 type coils would be homefree of damage without the perm, curling irons, and hair dyes I used to use and abuse. Boy was I wrong, lol. Anyway, I have been dealing with split ends and split hairs mid-shaft, probably from blow drying a few times a month - I didn't get them in the winter though, so I think the Houston heat and additional heat is too much for my very very very fine strands. I try to go all natural as much as I can with my staple products (Shea Moisture, Giovanni, and Darcy's) but dammit my hair needs a bit of help from modern science!!!

I read good reviews about this line, and Nexxus has always been a great brand. After lots of web research and like 45 minutes of label comparing in Target, I finally decided on the Daily Conditioner and Overnight Treatment. I washed with my regular shampoo because I don't do sulfates. Then I used the conditioner to detangle and let it sit for about 7 minutes while I did my shower business. It is super duper THICK, smells awesome, and has really great slip. I can see how ladies with very fine straight hair might find it too heavy - you may also be using too much, and it suggest concentrating on the ends only - because it's heavy duty, BUT my dry hair loves it. It left my hair perfectly detangles, smooth, smelling great, and shiny, and strong.

After I used the conditioner, I used the overnight cream along with my fave leave in conditoner (Kimmaytube's recipe for those of you natural ladies who are familiar), and braided in about 10 braids to air dry. It was the sleekest, most frizz free braid out I've ever had and when I took them down there was NO shedding of broken hairs AT ALL. I am really impressed!!

Smells fabulous, like coconuts, thick and rich, spreads on beautifully and seems to rinse well, but it leaves a coating I can actually feel on my thin, fine, straight hair that weighs it down and makes me look like a drowned rat. not a good look for me...

This stuff is so thick. It makes me feel like I put glue all over my hair. It does nothing to condition my hair. It is still tangly as ever after using it. It is so bad, after the third (i really wanted to like it) time using it, i had to reach for some Suave conditioner to finish the job. The shampoo isn't so bad. However, if you have long, tangle prone, straight hair, I would pass on this one.

As with the shampoo, it weighed my already lifeless hair way down. No matter how much product i put in it, I couldn't get any volume. I think the conditioner just added more lifelessness then the shampoo. I will be returning this....

My hair is dry, relaxed, colored and rather fragile. When I first started using this with the shampoo, I really loved it. I began using it right after I'd gotten a trim. The 'dish is ridiculously thick and coating. It made my hair behave without me having to attack it with heat, and my hairdresser said I could put off trimming my ends for a few more weeks 6 weeks later. I went through two bottles of this and the 'poo. On the third bottle, I introduced an argan oil product, and that's when everything went to hell in a hand basket.

My hair suddenly had about a metric ton of buildup, was flat and dull, and always felt just a bit tacky and dirty. I finally got a clarifying shampoo and went back to dove's intense repair, which left my hair moisturized and lovely.

I think this line will work well for you if you have dry hair and don't use oils or oily products in your hair, but because the 'poo is so mild, it can't handle much in the way of cleansing, and because the 'dish is so thick it makes matters worse.
