I got samples of about 6 BB creams/tinted moisturizers when I was at Nordstroms the other day, and out of the 6 I would say I probably liked this one the least.
It had pretty nice color, but it definitely sat on my dry patches and did not make my skin look very smooth or at it's best. May look good on someone with oily skin.
Not super impressed, not the worst, but definitely not the best. Will not purchase.

I love this moisturizer, leaves skin soft, gives a natural finish also covering any blemish, plus protects skin from the sun.

This tinted moisturizer has a bit more coverage than any other tinted face products. Covers redness and some acne scars. It's build able and goes on smooth.
I love the packaging. It's plastic and you squeeze out the product. However, there is only 1 oz when a lot of tinted moisturizers and bb creams have a little more than that. I don't have to use a lot so its okay

I was very surprised at this product. I used Clinique in university and not since. I got turned off the line and have stayed away from it. My skin is extremely dry. The change in seasons is always a difficult adjustment for my skin. I have been using Laura Mercier Silk Creme foundation, but I wanted to switch to something more natural looking and lighter. The challenge is to find something that doesn't make my dry skin look drier than it is without makeup on it. I don't normally like tinted moisturizers; I don't find I get enough coverage with them. Had the SA not insisted that this was not your typical tinted moisturizer, I would never have cinsidered it.

The coverage from the product really surprised me. I don't think it should be called a tinted moisturizer. It provides medium coverage IMO. It lasted all day - something a tinted moisturizer has never done on my skin.

The colour range is definitely not great. Luckily the 01 matches my skin perfectly. I used the shiseido foundation brush and stippled it on. It didn't completely cover the redness on my cheeks, but definitely did provide medium coverage. I used the LM Silk Creme and my Beauty Blender sponge to apply it on the areas of my face where a concealer would have been needed. LM Silk Creme is better than any concealer for my face. All other concealers are too dry for me. By using the Clinique as my foundation and just boosting its coverage on my cheeks with LM, it gave me the best of both worlds. I got the natural looking coverage I was going for, but still had the redness covered.

I got this in the middle of last week because I was in the middle of a really bad acne flair up and was desperate for something to provide some coverage without making it worse. This worked beautifully. I'm still using it. It hasn't made me break out, which I'm thrilled with, but suspected since the moisture-surge moisturizer doesn't make me break out either. I'm a mac NC20 and the lady at the counter gave me it in Shade 01. It doesn't cover all of my red spots/scars, but it offers decent coverage. Its very light on the skin. Overall its great, but since it only has SPF15 it gets 4 stars instead of 5.

I purchased this product when I was desperate for an easy to apply makeup that offered good coverage. My skin was extremely flared with acne and I couldn't apply anything too thick or hard to spread because it was very painful, I love this product and a little goes a long way. Highly recommend, but remember that it doesn't give full coverage!

I purchased this at a clinique counter in my local mall for $25. I am Shade 2. This is very moisturizing and it givesn a nice, sheer coverage. My only complaint is that it was a bit too yellow-toned for my skin. The packaging is also a bit aggravating, considering this is a messy product and it ruins the cap a little after long-term use. The only real reason I will not purchase this is because of the price. In the economy we are in, is it really right to spend that much on a tinted moisturizer?

In reading former review I noticed many reviews from women younger than myself. I am 50 and I was shocked at how well this tinted moisturizer worked for me! I had received a sample from Sephora and couldn't believe when I tried it the coverage it gave me. I am getting to the age where I don't want to look overly "done up" with makeup and this moisturizer gives me the coverage I need with the moisturizer I now have to have. I do have slighly oily skin still and always have thought I needed full coverage in order to get just that, full coverage. This seems to cover what I need covered (although I do use a Clinique concealer along with it in spots)..I feel like I look fresh, dewey and youthful. and I can throw this on by itself on a Saturday and run to the store and not look like I am too made up, but yet use it with the concealer and it is great for work or evening. I currently use it with another moisturizer underneath (for winter) but am anxious to try it this summer with a tan and without the additional moisturizer.

This is not a foundation so if you are wanting more coverage then this isn't for you. Like all Clinique products, the choice of shades is very limited, but with this being so sheer, one shade can fit a range of skin tones. Clinique's website says they are repackaging this, at the moment it is in a plastic bottle with a narrow opening. I would prefer a tube so that you could squeeze the last of the product out. Blends pretty easy using fingertips and doing one section at a time. I like the dewey finish, doesn't settle in lines or pores, but it's very light coverage which I happen to prefer. Haven't been out in the sun with it yet, but it really does seem to protect from windburn and it's brutally cold right now. I do notice a kind of unpleasant odor from it during wear which reminds me of the smell of self tanners and I can only think it's from the sunscreen. No breakouts or irritation so far. UPDATE: Still liking this and repurchasing.

I have acne prone skin, and was looking for a tinted moisturizer instead ofa regular foundation. I found when I used any type of liquid foundation my skin would be oily and breakout throughout the day, it was awful! I needed something moisturizing that would let my skin breathe but silk cover up some of my red spots. Soooo, I decided to try clique. I'm mostly pleasantly surprised! Cons...the color is a little orange for me in the wintertime, it'll look better when I'm tan. And it was expensive :( But the pros! Covers pretty well, evened up my skin tone nicely. Anybody with acne knows you can't truly "cover"it, so evening out the color did wonders. I also am not breaking out throughout the day! I'm shocked. Seriously. I feel like my skin has actually cleared up since I'm not clogging it with tons of makeup. I would say maybe put a sheer mineral powder over it on hot days to keep the shine down. And also don't use this as your only moisturizer! Its great, but I still use my regular face cream at night for that extra hydration. I would recommend this for anybody with moderate acne. They say the best way to heal your acne is to not wear makeup, but as embarrassing as that is, this tinted moisturizer is the next best thing!

I liked it at first when my skin was clear. Then I got breakouts and It does a bad job at covering up. It's also not very moisturizing and tends to highlight the areas where my skin is dry. Its good when you have naturally acne free skin.

Everybody seems to like Clinique... so I thought this product would be a good pick, but it wasn't.
This tinted moisturizer has a sticky texture, with obvious yellow/orange undertones which really showed up on my fair skin. Unless you apply it all over your face, it is hard to blend out.
I found that it was messy to work with, and the container was always covered with the product. (I'm not a messy person!)
From what I can remember, this product was pretty expensive compared to other drugstore brands. I personally don't think it's worth the price.
Also, if you have dry areas on your face or spots with a little more small hairs, this product really accentuates it.

I was really hoping to like this one as I'm on the hunt for a good, moisturizing, TM with sheer coverage that matches my pinky light complexion. Unfortunately, this one is not sheer, isn't moisturizing enough for my dry skin, and I'll have to mix 02 and 03 to get a match in the summer time. Also, it smells like sunscreen ALL day, surprising for an SPF15. I returned it and was lucky enough to find the last Moisture Sheer Tint in Fair at my local CCO. Clinique should have kept the old formula, as the drugstore has better TMs/BBs than this ;-)

I really like this tinted moisturizer. It's the best one I've used since now. The result is matte and the coverage is really good (medium). It seems more like a foundation but it hydrates my skin sufficiently. It remains on my face for more than 4 hours without getting greasy. As most of clinique's products its quality is high. I will repurchase.

Me:
NC10 with very yellow skin
Very sensitive skin
Uber dry skin

I bought this TM yesterday, but I had huge samples during last Summer, so my review is mostly based on that.

Unfortunately the lightest shade they sell in Holland is #2, but because this TM does not have a lot of pigment in it, it still suits my NC10 skin. I compared #1&#2 in Germany and there was hardly any difference.

I think this TM is quite moisturizing, all though I do wear a moisturizer underneath as my skin is uberdry (Oilatum face cream). I like the coverage, it reminds me of Face & Body foundation by MAC, its very good buildable and very share. Overall, for me, a winner!

Yes I will purchase this TM again!

Good product for those who are not looking for full cover. I found a good match wit my skin tone. Even though its a moisturiser, i prefer to apply it on the top of my day cream.
Contains some SPF.

On the other hand, it leaves marks on my phone when i use it (i hate it)

This is such a great foundation. It is sheer but you can layer for more of a medium coverage. I have fair skin and freckles and I really don't like covering up my freckles but I do need some "color" because I tend to get a little pale. This is best foundation that I've used for a nice, sheer coverage that is gentle on my skin and lasts all day. It is sheer so I've found that I do need to use a concealer for under my eye makeup for it to last. I love that it has an SPF15 and usually when I use sunblock or products with SPF, my skin will breakout but this has never broken me out or made my skin react adversely in any way. I've used this product daily for about 6 months now and I absolutely love it. It's a little pricey but such a great quality product that I would definitely purchase it again. For a tinted moisturizer, it's not streaky and blends into the skin really well and has a buildable texture that you could get medium coverage out of. I've also found that because I only use about a nickel-sized amount of product for my entire face, I'm still using the same tube that I bought about 6 months ago :)

I don't usually use tinted moisturisers, but received a sizeable sample of this in a gift set when replacing my Clinique 3-step - so I thought I would try it out!

After using this quite regularly over the past two months, I have to say that I like this product, but I don't love it.

What I liked:
• The coverage is quite nice - it evened out my skin well, although if I want to cover spots then I have to use a concealer as well.
• It goes on well and is easily blendable. I like how light it feels on my skin, especially next to my normal foundation (Estée Lauder's Double Wear).
• It was an excellent match for my skin colour. I have very pale skin and finding the correct shade is always a problem for me, but not with this!
• After it's just been applied, my skin looks dewy/glowy without looking greasy.

What I didn't like:
• I have oily skin and after a relatively short amount of time, the dewy-ness just fades to greasiness.
• The price of the full-size product.

Although there was a lot I liked, the effect over a longer period of time just wasn't good enough to make me want to spend over £20 on the full-sized version. The lightness of it on my skin has, however, prompted me to start looking into other tinted moisturisers, as well as BB creams, in the hopes of finding something which will suit my skin better!
