This is a fallback for me when I can't deal with Revlon Colorstay (the mixing; the dabbing; the careful buffing onto my skin). I am NC30-ish and use this in Medium Tan. I also purchased Medium but it was very peachy, whereas this is more neutral beige. I love that it is cheap; it has a pump; it does not oxidize; and it has great coverage. It has a tacky consistency but it spreads easily enough. I use a sponge to apply. It can look a little heavy if you're not careful. Definitely recommend if you can find the right shade.

Although I have yet to try this without any primer and/or moisturizer, it's FABULOUS. Like, for the longest time I had some dry patches on my face and NOTHING would hide them...not even my HE foundations or expensive BB creams! I picked this up in the color fair (which matches me perfectly although I'm quite tan and warm toned) and it made ny skin look flawless! I didn't even need a setting powder! And it doesn't look cakey at all! I've been using it for a couple weeks and still perfection. I do notice the little pieces some mentioned but only when I use my stippling brush, which I hardly ever use. I use this with my Beauty Blender or a buffing brush or my hands when I'm lazy. Its amazing.

So the color choices kinda suck but luckily the lightest one is just right for my skin (especially because I'm using tanning lotion).
The price is amazing.
I love that it is all that you need to use.
Unfortunately, I see the "plastic" pieces. You need to look at your face really close in really good lighting to see them though and eventually throughout the day they go away.
My face looks dewy but feels dry.
I mix it a bit with Glamoflauge.
LOVE and will most likely re-purchase.

I am in love with this product! I havee noo issues with itt att all! Plastic pieces that everyone iss talking about? None..maybee tryy shaking upp the bottle..Cakey look? Nott mee..tryy using less and blend well! I know theres nott much of ayy color choice..soo maybee tryy blending ayy shade lighter and ayy shade darker then your normal skin tone. i blend light 362 and medium tan 364 for myy face. Looks amazing. Also if you have dark spots or redness you can try adding ayy bitt of the Glamoflauge heavy duty concealer 2 the foundation and mix then apply. Although the Just face it foundation sayys its ayy concealer as well. I use the glamoflauge for extra coverage. I am satisfied with itt.

love this product with a little setting powder stayed put about 6 to 7 hours id say was the longest I have worn it and for me it pretty much means forever because although my cheeks can hold makeup for days my nose is so oily slick my makeup runs about an hour after application as for the coverage id say its medium to full i have lots of acne scarring and it seems to do the job however there is no longer a hard candy line at my local walmart hence the rating of 4

I must say that I was skeptical of this product because of the price (dirt cheap) and also because I have tried their bronzer and that was terrible.
I love the pump bottle clean application ability with that. I do wear a primer (sheer cover) underneath BUT it lasts ALL DAY until I wash my face at night! I bought a color one shade lighter than my skin and it looks fabulous!! (I wear translucent bronzer on top)
My skin is very VERY dry and this helps any powder look natural over top. This is my new "it" product for liquid. Very high coverage and no cake look to it. I don't even have to use concealer any more. I scored with this one.

pros: reasonable price, medium to thick coverage, decent packaging
cons: limited color selection (only 3: light, medium, dark), not very long lasting, makes my face oily
One thing I hate about this product is that when I apply it on my face, there are some tiny spots of "residue" that just sit on my skin and I have to blend each of them out with my fingers.

I love hard candy products. They are so cheap but the actual product works great And the packaging is cute and colorful.
So just face it foundation I was skeptical because I usually spend around $20 on foundation and this was under $7... Also because there were only four colors. What the hell four colors. But it's cheap so I bought it in medium and its actually perfect.
Texture moussy and liquidy at the same time
Colors not orange or pink little more beige I like that
It looks natural not cakey at all.
I usually blend my foundation an apply it with a brush and tap it on but I found fingers work better with this stuff.
I didn't notice the "plastic peices" a few people mentioned.
I also find I don't absolutely have to use a primer with this so it does live up to its four in one claim.
So I'd say if you can find a color that fits you go for it cheap and looks good. Oh and didn't break me out!

I like this foundation. The only problem that I have with it, is that when it sets, it looks like there's little pieces of plastic or something on my face. As long as I use powder over it though, they seem to disappear. Overall, it's a good foundation except for those plastic thingies.

I wanted to love this foundation so much, especially because I absolutely loved the Hard Candy tinted moisturizer, which is no longer being sold. When I realized the tinted moisturizer had been discontinued, I decided to try this hoping to like it just as much. But unfortunately, I kind of hate this.
I'll admit that I do like a lot of things about this foundation. First of all, the pump packaging is great. It's easy to control how much comes out and it has never clogged or broken on me. I also like that the bottle is clear so you can tell when you're running low.
The formula is also pretty nice on this. It's a liquid, but it almost feels a little moussey. It's relatively easy to blend, but you have to work quickly because it sets very fast. This gives medium to full coverage and it wears pretty well throughout the day. I have combination skin and I'll usually have to blot or apply powder once a day when wearing this.
The biggest issue with this is that it creates these little flakes all over your face. At first I thought maybe it was accentuating my (minor) dry patches, but then I realized I was getting these flakes all over, and that the flakes can be picked off or rubbed in, so its definitely the foundation. I think it has to do with the fact that this claims to be a foundation as well as a powder. I think it's trying to dry to a powdery finish, and is leaving these little flakes everywhere. It's hard to explain, but they're really noticeable and look awful. It looks like I have insanely dry skin or like I have some skin disease. It's gross, and it's impossible to get rid of all the little flakies. I tried everything...Using different primers underneath, using different setting powders, applying with different brushes, mixing with other foundations, mixing with moisturizers...Nothing worked.
I ended up tossing the bottle, which I very rarely do. I can usually find some way to make a product work, but the flakes were a big no-go for me. I buy a foundation to make my skin look flawless, not nasty!
I also want to mention the color choices are a little off. I'm about an NW 20, and in the store it looked like either Fair or Light would match me. I almost went with Fair, but I got Light since it was the beginning of the summer. Turns out Light was a little too light for me! I think Medium would have matched better, and that's the second darkest color they offer. So definitely no options for darker women.
I'm glad a lot of people seem to like this, but I would keep your receipt if you purchase this just in case you have the issues I had.

This is my all-time favorite foundation. My best friend actually gave it to me as a present because she knew I had been eyeing it for a while. I have annoying oily skin that always seemed to become worse with other foundations. But this one is a completely different story. Because it actually dries on my skin, it makes my face matte and barely leaves any shine or residue. I love the pump it has on the bottle. Definitely won't be purchasing any other foundations than this one.

I remember Hard Candy from when it was sold in Sephora. I thought the brand had disappeared until a year ago when I saw it at Walmart.
I was very low on money & I needed to find a cheap foundation so I bought this one.
When I pumped it into my hand, the texture was very dry. It actually felt kinda gross on my hands.
I was very pleasantly suprised to find that when I put it on my face it actually looked great. I really don't like my skin to look pale especially with pink undertones. Since this foundation has yellowy peach undertones, I didn't have to worry about that.
I've been breaking out a lot for the past 6 months (which is odd cuz I very rarely got a zit in puberty). But a few days ago I got a bunch of compliments on how great my skin looked. This foundation completely evens out my skin tone (including the red blemishes).
It has quite strong coverage which I've always liked.
The two downsides are 1) it dries very quickly so if you don't put it on fairly fast, you'll have to use more 2) it doesn't come in darker skin tones

Eh.
I thought this stuff would be a total win, but it's just a weird sticky foundation. :-|
When it first is applied, it looks really great. But during the day, as it melds with your face - it gets quite shiny and tacky feeling to the touch. Kind of a bummer, as it was otherwise a good product. Cheap, too!
Oh well. At least it was pretty cheap ($6 IIRC at Walmart).

I got this foundation in fair (I'm NC10-15) and it was too dark, and orangey. I tried to make it work by blending it well, but it wasn't flattering. I love the packaging, it's adorable, and I love the pump, so I dumped the foundation out and am going to reuse the bottle for another foundation.I wish there was a bigger color selection because the formula was rather nice, and I can see it working for some people, but not me.

I normally wear merle norman foundation, but I like trying new foundations once in a while, so after seeing good reviews for this and it's significantly cheaper, thought I'd give it a try. Initially I really loved this foundation, been using for a couple of weeks. I purchased in medium, and while it looks dark when first applying, it dries down much lighter. Loved the finish, lasted long, didn't change color, so why the poor rating? I had been putting on my makeup in poor lighting and today I actually caught my face in bright light. OMG, i was mortified, like a previous reviewer wrote, it looks like there's little specs of clear plastic all over my face. I was so disappointed, as I really liked this. I'm curious if after closer inspection, if others are having this problem too?
One positive, I can reuse the pump dispenser!

I picked up this product just because it was there. BIG mistake!!! I am not sure how to explain this but there are these weird plastic pieces in it. Also for me it felt very chalky. This product claims to be 3 in 1- a foundation, concealer, and primer. Aside from the plastic things, it is a normal foundation. After putting on this product i still had to wear concealer. I do really like the pump packing though. The shade was fairly light on me and i am pretty much WHITE. I should have looked up this product before i purchased it. What a waste of money!!!

I am suprised this has such great reviews. They have a very poor color selection. The lightest color of which leaves your skin very yellow looking. That's if of course you can spackle it onto your skin fast enough, without looking like a picaso creation. The drying speed on this is insanely fast. I tried this once and didn't feel a bit bad about it landing in the bottom of the trash can.
Waste of cash.

**this is a review I posted on my blog**
First of all, let me say I AM GLAD that my walmart stocked up on Hard Candy! For the past year I would visit my walmart and even asked the associates if the brand was returning at all and every single f'n time they had NO CLUE. By sheer luck, a week or so ago I was in the mood to look at stuff at Walmart and behold there was "Hard Candy" goodies beautifully displayed. Why does it take almost a YEAR to get re-stocked for Hard Candy?? That's one mystery the gang and scooby doo can't solve. Moving on...
I have been running out of foundation and I wanted to give this one a try. I saw the color #361 fair and out of all the ones, this one matches my complexion the closest. If you use Revlon Color Stay (both regular or whipped) in the color "buff", then this is a pretty decent close match to the color. This shade; however, has a bit of a peachy tone. My skin leans towards a peachy-yellow tone and this color when worn is a perfect match in that sense.
Now I must admit, when I bought the foundation I really did not read about the benefits of this foundation or its promises. Quite honestly I just liked the color and thought it was nice it came in a pump. But it was not after my 2nd use in which I actually payed attention to the bottle and again "its" promises. Here I am gonna quote from the Hard Candy Website: "Get perfect skin in one step! This all in one makeup maven is everything you need in 1 bottle. It functions as a primer, concealer, a foundation and dries to a powdery finish. Long wearing formula delivers a beautifully smooth, flawless look with its blendable, buildable coverage. It minimizes pores, regulates oil, and reduces the appearance of fine lines".
I admit first time I used it was with the usual moisturizer, primer et cetera et cetera. The result? It looked too cakey. But once I read the back of the bottle, I skipped my regular routine, and just applied the foundation to a clean face. The way the foundation feels reminded me VERY VERY much to the regular colorstay I grew up using. And just like colorstay, you need to work this foundation with a speedy hand. Why? This formula is a little drier and it will set fast. I used my fingers like the good old days.
WHAT I LOVED
1. The foundation is medium to full coverage. It won't cover your postmarks, but it will tone down the redness of your skin.
2. Loved the matte finish/powdery look to my face (a claim they promise and actually succeeds)
3. Even with my mega oily skin, this foundation actually help to tame the oiliness. Upon reading the ingredients, it actually contains KAOLIN CLAY, SILICA and Cucumber Extract. Kaolin is a perfect oil absorber, Silica a great buffer to fine lines and Cucumber helps to retain a little moisture. If Hard Candy would prominently display these 3 ingredients on their website and their benefits, it would help other people give this foundation a chance given that these 3 ingredients alone help achieve a matte look. Again, that's an advice I would give them.
4. After wearing the foundation for up to 5 hours, I lightly touched up my face with tissue paper (seriously just tissue paper, not the blot papers you can buy) my face looked identical to the way it was when I freshly applied the foundation for that day.
WHAT TO WATCH OUT FOR
1. If applied the wrong way, it can look cakey. This is not a foundation issue, but the person who executes the application of the foundation.
2. Color Selection minimal.
3. NO TESTERS!!!
So, would I recommend this foundation? I will depending on your skin type. If you have combo oily, oily or a normal skin, give this foundation a chance. If you have a drier skin, I do not think this foundation would work. But hey, I could be wrong. Sensitive Skin?? Like in my case, I cannot wear anything with talcum powder and this foundation DOES NOT contain it! A huge plus and something "Hard Candy" should inform and would be a benefit to the company and to other people who are allergic to Talcum Powder. Hard Candy THIS IS A HINT FOR YOU!!!!!!!! I really payed no attention to their setting powders or powders in general they offer, BUT if they are "thinking of making" a complimentary setting powder, a "talcum free- setting powder" with ingredients like rice powder, cornstarch and/or kaolin would sure be a HIT for the company and the Hard Candy consumer. Again Hard Candy, HINT HINT!!!
All in all, this is a fabulous product. I am hoping they could expand the color range for the foundation not to leave our Scandinavian, Asian, European, Caribbean and African sisters behind. Have testers available, although walmart has been pretty good in refunding me my money as long as I kept the receipt.
In the future I will post a picture of my face partially so you can see how it looks. Will also do a comparison review with this foundation and the Neutragena Shine Control one.
Hard Candy gets an A+ from me.

I had not worn foundation in a long time previous to buying this. I could never seem to find a good balance between adequate coverage without it looking/feeling "cakey". I have combination and sensitive skin with rosacea, and this product doesn't irritate my skin at all. It tones down the redness in my skin and provides a natural yet polished looking semi-matte finish.I'm not sure I agree with the 3-in-1 label Hard Candy put on it (I still like primer and the occasional concealer), but it's a great product nonetheless, especially for the price. It must be applied and blended quickly, but it looks great all day.

I really love this foundation! It's very cheap and has a pump and doesnt break me out and keeps the oil under control. However they don't have very good colors, so i tend to use it as a concealer or under a better colored foundation. I love the full coverage. If they had a better color selection i believe this would be the greatest foundation ever.
