This is honestly the worst foundation i have ever used. I bought this from Wall-mart, along with some other Hard Candy products. I've never used this line before and I was excited to try it.
Waste of money. Big time. The strangest thing is these little flakes of what looks to be plastic were all over my face after application. It doesn't make my skin break out, but it doesn't last all day. (I work retail so I don't sweat or anything during the day) I really love to contour my cheekbones, and this foundation does NOT work well with contouring/blending. I used the medium(363) shade.

This product is terrible.
I was on the lookout for the brand of foundation that I absolutely love, but unfortunately the store was out and I didn't want to try another store. The Hard Candy brand definitely has their advertising right as I'm always drawn to their little section of the department store, but have never purchased anything for one reason or another. I decided to try this product because it claimed to do all the things that I want a foundation to do.
I have extremely dry skin and some foundations seem to highlight that, which is what I thought was happening when I initially applied it. But upon further inspection, I realized they were little flecks of crap. WTH is the point of this??? The product dried really fast and was extremely difficult to blend. I used a facial wipe and got what I thought was all of it off, and had to borrow my oldest daughter's foundation. Now this morning I am noticing I am still covered in flecks of whatever it is.
This is worse than the Dollar Store make-up!!

Oh my gosh I love this product, yes it does dry to a nice powder, and also it does leave my skin a little oily later on in the day, but again nothing a little blotting can't control, this product covers everything that needs to be covered, and I don't feel the need to put on my concealer and or powder on top of it. The way I use it is pumping it onto the back of my hand and applying it with a foundation brush. I find that its formula is a little gritty, but all in all its a great product and I'm glad I bought it.

I bought this because my friend suggested it. I have to say its one of the worst foundations I've ever owned and I'm returning it to Walmart ASAP. Its not the fact that I'm applying it incorrectly either like some other reviewers said. I apply it quickly and in small amounts and thin layers and its still awful. It doesn't blend, so the end result is a cakey face. It's very thick in consistency but also dry as hell. It made my face look really flakey. I chose a color as close to my skin as possible and I turned out looking yellow and sickly. My bf even asked me if I was sick. Lots of yellow undertones in this foundation. It was also very pore clogging and difficult to remove. I will definitely never buy this again! On a positive note, the packaging is great. I love the little pump bottle And I'm tempted to keep it for other foundations. The price was also very cheap-about $6 bucks-but you really get what you pay for in this case. I'm going back to my Maybelline 8-1 bb cream!

This stuff is just bizarre! There are "chunks" of something in it....ummm ICK! It dries WAY too fast and looks like I just had an orange mud facial. I am not throwing away the bottle though! I am washing it out and putting my Revlon ColorStay in it! At least I can get some use out of it :) DON'T THROW ANY PUMP BOTTLES AWAY FOLKS! Re-use them for your foundations without a pump! I let them soak in some Dawn dishwashing liquid and then run alcohol through them. Let 'em dry, pour my other foundation in and BAM! You are all set.

I absolutely adore this foundation! I have the colour fair and it is such a perfect colour for me. Everywhere except my face has warm undertones, and just recently due to some irritation my skin has been a bit red, but this foundation evens out and warms up the colour so wonderfully! I apply with a flat foundation brush and it always goes on just fine, no splotchy or streaky-ness. The pump is great too! I find that it lasts all day (10+ hours for me), though I look oily as the day progress (blot and move on, I can't avoid that, but I don't think it's a huge deal). My point being that I find it stays on and the coverage doesn't go down as the hours pass. I find it really looks better when you use their sheer envy primer, they work really well together! I love the coverage of this foundation, it covers most of my scarring and even some of my acne (though I or have to come back in with concealer for a few spots). I especially love how you can build up the coverage, but it still blends together. My two complaints don't really take away from the foundation, but are: it does stick to dryness (I've had come flakiness lately, but I just take care of the flakes with tweezers), and at least the one I got seems to have a ton of plastic bits in it. It doesn't affect how it applies or looks on my face, but I found that a bit concerning at first. I suspect I just got a bad batch, but really once it's on my face they disappear or something, so whatever. In short, I love this foundation and it will likely be a staple of my makeup bag from now on!

I REALLY wanted to like this, and I was sure I would. However, I was wrong. I hate this product. It broke me out not even 15 minutes after applying. It doesn't apply easy at all, and it looks very cakey. Keep in mind that I did nothing different. I used to use Cover Girl. The price is good and the packaging is super cute.

Normally I use Revlon colorstay, but I saw this at walmart for $7 and picked it up. Glad I did!! I tried it out this morning and it seems to work very well! I think I actually like this better than Revlon! It doesn't look cakey at all. The only problem I have with it is the plastic pieces as other people have mentioned. It's not really a big deal though, once it dries it dissappears. I like how its all in one. It leaves my skin feeling very soft, and once it dries it turns to a soft powder. Medium buildable coverage. Will definately repurchase!!
*EDIT- During the day, this did get a little oily on my nose, but a simple dab with a tissue worked just fine. Did not have to reapply. The plastic pieces dont seem to ALL dissappear, but you can only see them up close. Still like this product and will still repurchase.

I really wanted to love this, I really did. I love Hard Candy and I liked the idea of this 4-in-1 foundation. However this foundation seems to cater to only medium skin tones. I have this in shade "fair" and it is much too dark for me. It doesn't make much sense to me since the Glamoflauge concealer and under eye brighteners by Hard Candy come in such light shades so I give this a 3. The formula is very light on the skin which I like and I even like the smell of it. But I wish that companies that release shades that they give names like "Fair", "Porcelain", or "Ivory" to were just that...not medium. Even their darkest shade is like a tanned medium tone. So if you are on either end of the shade spectrum this foundation probably doesn't have a match for you. If they provided a wider range of shades this would have been my go-to foundation. I like that it comes with a pump, I like the light packaging. I like the artwork on the bottle. I like the blendability of the product (but you have to work fast since it dries to powder finish, I can get clumpy on you if you work slow....I apply and blend on one side of my face and then the other).

I was SO excited to buy this. Recently I found out Almay and Revlon started testing on animals again (boo!) so I wanted to switch to a cruelty-free brand.
I was happy when I first put this makeup on my face. The color matched beautifully, and it seemed wonderful. (I'm SUPER fair skinned. Like, a shade or two above white-out. lol)Then, 5 seconds later, I noticed these little iridescent "flakes" of something. I opened the bottle and took out the pump/tube and the foundation was chunky and full of these plastic-like clumps.
I thought that maybe I got a "bad batch" or something, but after coming on here and realizing I'm not the first person to have this problem, I guess it's just the makeup.
Looks like I have to find another cruelty-free option. :(
