I just got this the other day and I'm in love with it. It looks white in the pan, but when worn it has a beautiful golden sheen. This would be a perfect highlight color, though it can be worn as a regular shadow color as well, which is what I wear it as. This is definitley my new go-to shadow of choice. I love Rock & Republic cosmetics even though they are pricey, I would definitely buy this color again.

I got this eyeshadow on hautelook so on sale these eyeshadows are cheap, but full price is really expensive. First off the packaging is gorgeous and sturdy. It also has a mirror inside of the lid. It's slightly bulky but I leave my eyeshadows at home anyways so I don't mind. The color is a beautiful highlight color. It looks white in the pan, but when I swatch it on my skin it leaves a golden sheen. I wouldn't suggest this color for darker skinned ladies because it might not show well. The color applies evenly onto your eyes and will last you all day with a primer underneath (I haven't worn without a primer underneath). I especially like using it on my inner corners or on my lower lashine for an interesting pop of color that is sublte and different from the standard white/cream colors. It's not the most unique color ever and if you already have a golden white based highlight color this one isn't necessary to add to your collection, but if you don't then this is a good option for you. :)

I agree with the previous reviewer, this is a great highlight shade for those with fair skin. I also like how it is white with a golden sheen....it makes it less frosty and garish. I've been looking for a quality white highlight for a while now because I prefer to use that color when I do grey and black looks than a nude color. Of course, the quality is amazing. It reminds me of UD....way better than MAC. The packaging is also great. I know some people depot their R&R shadows because they think the pot is too gaudy and big, but I think it looks luxe. It is nice since the shadow is nearly $30! Overall, this is a great color and product in general. If you are looking for white shadows, you need to try this.

Carat is a shimmery cream colored eyeshadow with a gold sheen. It reminds me a lot of MAC vanilla pigment but the texture is far superior to MACs. I am very pale and it's hard to find a good highlight/brow bone color that doesn't look too dark or too frosty. Carat is a gorgeous shade and it goes well with my skin tone. I am very impressed with the Rock and Republic line. I bought a lot of makeup during one of their sales and I ended up getting everything for $3 each. Normally, this eyeshadow would go for $28. I wouldn't pay $28 for any single eyeshadow, not NARS, not MAC, not Dior but I do believe R&R is on the same level as those other companies. Their packaging is really beautiful. You can tell a lot of time and care went into this product. I heard they may be phasing their makeup out and I hope not because it's one of the best makeup companies out there right now.
