I really liked the color of this and that it is a retractable liner, however it smudges up into my crease within an hour.

Really disapointed in these eye liners , especially after using the great lipliners. They are not creamy, they drag, and colour payoff is just average.

I'm rating this purely based on quality. It doesn't go on very creamy and it smudges by the end of the day. However, I'm almost done with my second stick of this because the color compliments brown eyes so well. It shows up pigmented, but isn't obvious. I'll probably purchase a third time

Love this color, love the price, love the product! Only drawback is that it isn't the longest lasting formula, but for the price I can afford to reapply it!

I bought this as just a cheap temporary and ended up loving it :) The color works perfectly with my olive skin and brown eyes, it's less harsh than black but still makes a perfect "smokey eye". The texture is good, it rubs off just enough but not too much. bonus: looks just about as good the morning after :) Lasts forever. Am finally purchasing my second one now.

Wish it worked for me!
I have this liner in black, lavish brown, and denim blue. All of those are fabulous! So inexpensive and perfect for the smudgey, smokey look I love. Lasting power is great for me unless I seriously rub my eyes. Then I don't blame any smearage on the product.

UNFORTUNATELY the egglplant shade just doesn't work for my fair skin and light blue/gray eyes. I had high hopes it would make my blue eyes pop, but it ended up just making me look like I had a cold. Not a good look. Just a bit too much on the red side. I have this same problem with certain browns as well. I could see this liner working well on someone with a warmer and darker skintone than I. Great product, just the wrong shade for me.

Love the color, love the application BUT I don't love finding it on my face in places it does not belong. After setting up a new netbook (small so I was looking down for a good 2 hours straight, I just happen to look in the mirror and I had raccoon eyes. This was the only new product that I was wearing, so I tested my two Easyliners (Eggplant & Seagreen) and two GlitterRocks (Glam Rock Green & Black Rocks) eyeliner by Jordana and the Easyliner smudged and faded quickly compared to the GlitterRocks. FYI Black Rocks stuck around the longest.

I prefer ULTA Automatic Eyeliners.

Great eyeliner but not flattering on me at all - I didn't even take off a lippie bc it's so creamy and easy to apply plus it stays on all day. I'm just so fair that this particular color made me look like I have a cold. Not really attractive. I think it would be stunning on someone with darker skin.

I've been looking for a deep brown-purple eyeliner for ages because black is too harsh for daytime, and I've just gotten sick of using brown all the time. This retractable eyeliner color is beautiful and sophisticated. It's not too purple nor too brown --it's the perfect combo in between. It's smooth and doesn't tug on my lids, and best of all, it was only $1.99!!! It lasts for about 5 hours as an eyeliner on my top lids, but as for lasting power on my waterline, it is next to none --It lasts for about an hour to the most.

I picked this up for about $2 at Walgreens and I like the color on my green eyes. It is a matte deep purple/brown color. It stays put okay..but my one gripe is that it requires a decent amount of tugging on my eyelid to get the color bold enough. I do not like ANY tugging on my eyelids..this is why I typically stay with cream or liquid eyeliners. However, I really like this color so I grit my teeth and use it anyway. I like the twist up, so I don't have to find a pencil sharpener. And, there seems to be a decent amount of product for the price--so I would probably buy it again. I haven't been able to find any other brand with a color similar to this.

This is the perfect liner for my green eyes, because it's not brown, not purple, but eggplant! It glides on super smooth and makes my eye color pop and look bigger. My gfs were asking me recently about eyeliner and were amazed to find out it was Jordana Easyliner in Eggplant. They asked to try it and so after experimenting with it, they went and bought themselves the Eggplant and all sorts of other colors. This color works well with every eye color, but is awesome with green or blue eyes! Highly recommend it and it's so dirt cheap and I got it at Walgreens or CVS.

Beautiful purple eyeliner that's dirt cheap. I'm pretty sure this was a late night drunken impulse buy I did with a friend at a walgreens. It was one of the more smarter things I bought inebriated, but the problem I have with this is it stings my eyes when I wear it. I don't have any trouble with prescriptives, sephora, clinique, lancome, mac and other random drugstore brands I've accumulated over the years. Also, it doesn't have any staying power and the color doesn't really come out strong enough to my liking.

On me, this looks like a vibrant brown with just a hint of plum. Application is very smooth - just glides over my eyelid. No smudges although I have oily eyelids. HG brown liner - and the price is excellent :D

I love this color of eyeliner. It is brown but not boring, with a hint of purple without it being overly obvious that it's there. They are decently long lasting. They very cheap too. They also come in many other nice colors of eyeliner that are hard to find, like purple and mint blue.

this is the purple ive been searching for! its a deep matte eggplant/plum color that goes great w/ my brown eyes.
the liner is retractable, which honestly doesnt matter much to me. and i have to go over my lids several times to get a good deep color. but tons of e/l's are like that so it didnt bother me. it did stay all day w/ out smudging, so ya id buy this again. think ill check out the other colors too ;)

I'm so happy I picked up a few of these eyeliners one day on a whim. The eggplant color is gorgeous with my brown eyes. I'm a big fan of retractable pencils (hate sharpening), and this is one of the best I have tried...soft, easy to apply, no tugging, easy to smudge if I want a smoky effect, stays put fairly well (although I have oily lids, so no eyeliner is completely smudge free for me), great colors, dirt cheap. I love!

If you scan my list of reviews, you will see I go for everything - whether it's cheap or expensive, as long as I get my money's worth, that's what I care about. This eyeliner is dirt cheap and I find that I reach for it more than any other that I own - and I have them all - MAC, Stila, Lancome, Estee, Arden, Revlon, NARS (which is one of the worst) - you name it - I have tried it. And I really really love this Jordana brand. Dirt cheap and lots of selection. Creamy, easy to apply, stays on pretty decently - overall, very very good. Especially the price - for the price, VERY VERY good. Especially if youwant to branch out with weird colors - this is a good way to build your eyeliner collection. Sometimes they are 2 for 3.00 at Walgreens I think. Can't beat that!

Eggplant is just what you'd expect -- a dark eggplant purple. I have not found a Jordana Easyliner that I didn't like -- they all have a lead that's soft enough to apply easily yet hard enough to last all day without smearing or smudging. And the price can't be beat!

Edit: I'm not impressed with these liners. The staying power is nil. Gone in an hour.
Overall, Jordana eyeliners are great. You can't beat the price and it's good quality. I'm blond with fair skin and dark blue eyes and the eggplant is not the color for me. It makes my eyes look irritated and blood shot. The black & smokey work better with my coloring.

Yay, cheap, good eyeliner!!!! I actually don't buy eyeliner much anymore, especially not eyeliner pencils. I grew disenchanted during my teenage punk phase after trying every damn black pencil liner that existed and hating them. I've used eyeshadow as liner ever since. Now, I have no idea why, but I was at Walgreens last night and impulse bought a bunch of these. Eggplant- rich, blackened purple. Very pretty. It's soft, doesn't tug and doesn't give racoon eyes. It doesn't set, so if you rubbed it could smudge. I'm wearing it today and am quite pleased. A decent, basic eyeliner that comes in an array of colors. Nothing to complain about, and I honestly feel that this works better, if not just as well, than my MAC kohls and other HE pencils.
