This is a great pencil! The brown is absolutely perfect with no hint of red. The staying power is awesome. The highlighter is good too, although the effect is much more subtle (a good thing). Will definitely repurchase!

I can't believe there aren't more reviews for this! It is my eyebrow STAPLE. For years, I paid more than double the price of Push-Up Bra for another brow highlighter that I swore up and down was my HG product because it takes my brows to the next level. If I hadn't had my brows done in awhile, I would swipe the highlighter beneath and it would almost conceal the stray hairs while also lifting my brows and making them look amazing. One day, I decided I wanted to try NYX because of all the hype surrounding their makeup at drugstore prices and put that product back when I saw this, figuring it was worth a shot. Best decision EVER... my brows look amazing, always. Plus, I can fill them in with the pencil so now I only need to carry the one chubby pencil rather than a highlighter and pencil.

I have to say this chubby little dual sided pencil is fast becoming my favorite brow product. The color matches my grayish dark brown eyebrows perfectly. I think it's a universal shade and would suit most brow colors. The staying power is great and my brows look completely natural. But what I like best about this pencil is the highlight shade on the other end. It's a perfect pinkish/nude matte that has a multitude of uses, i.e, highlighting around the brow (its intended purpose) for a nice neat and crisp edge, brightening up the lower waterline (I LOVE IT FOR THIS!), highlighting the inner and outer corner of the eyes, and to highlight the cupids bow. It can even be used as a concealer. To me, it's a cross between Benefit's eyebright and Still's topaz pencil, respectively. I found mine at ULTA for around $10. I would definetly repurchase when I run out but I've been using this everyday for the past eight months and there's still at least half left. I had originally tried the Anastasia pencil just like this one, but honestly, to me there's no difference in performance. I actually prefer the NYX pencil...and it's a lot more affordable! A great little find!

Awesome product! The color is perfect for me, and that being so, I wouldn't say it's universal. Anything below a light-brunette I wouldn't recommend this. That said it also perfectly matched my sister who has near-black hair. The highlighter is my favorite, it's awesome to use around your eyes, specially after a late night.

This brow pencil suits me perfectly!! At first I just ignored the highlighter end, didn't think it made much difference to my eye area, but I read it could be used as a concealer too, and when I forgot my concealer when I was out of town I used this instead and I LOVED it, it suited my skin tone fabulously and actually concealed really well! The brow pencil part is very creamy and easily to apply to brows and blends quite well, will definitely buy again when I run out!

First, I don't give two hoots about the highlighting end. I tried it once and was "meh"... maybe I'll play with it more when the brown end wears out.
Now, the brow color end: I have a devil of a time finding browns that are dark enough, not too red, not too black, not too fake, doesn't wipe off after two seconds, etc. I was really skeptical that this color could work for me since it says it's universal (and nothing is) but it works! It looks like my brow color, last a reasonable amount of time and isn't stupid expensive (boo hiss on you YSL and your too-yellow brown pencil I shelled out for.) So, it's a keeper and I'm stoked until something better comes along.

This is the only brow pencil I've ever liked! The pencil is sooo soft, it makes filling in my eyebrows easy and fast. The colour and soft, blunt, feathery strokes you get with the pencil all create a natural look (after all, there's nothing worse than harsh, drawn-on looking brows). For me, the colour of the highlighter is a little too peach toned to work as a highlighter, but it's still useful and makes a nice eyeshadow base.

The name says it all! This sweet little pencil helps me go from ragged to polished in a flash! I use the dark brown pencil (EBPB01). The highlighter instantly transforms my eyes from tired to bright. I love using this as a shadow as well. This is going to be on heavy rotation in my makeup bag!

I love this pencil. At first the brown filler side seemed too dry and it took many strokes to fill in the brow but I soon discovered the result is much more natural this way. I still don't think this pencil could work for every brow color out there (I mean, how could it) but it works for mine better than the other pencils (yes, even those that come in five different colors). Perhaps the slightly drier, non waxy texture makes it easier to blend in with the brow hairs. I have to admit I am not very experienced or demanding when it comes to brows and I don't really shape them, I usually just fill in the bigger gaps so they look thicker and more even.
I am not a big fan of the concealer/lifter side though, if e.l.f.'s was too yellowish, this one is too pink. My own skin on the browbone is lighter than this color so I guess it wouldn't make any sense to use it. It kinda works for imperfections, the texture is much creamier than the other side but since it has a strong pink undertone you can't really use it on blemishes. I sometimes use it on the inner eye area, but again it is just ok.
I would recommend this product to people who do a quick brow in the morning or on their way to work but I don't think it would work as well for a defined brow, the tip seems too thick and not precise enough for this. For reference, I am a NW15 with dark brown eyebrows.

I am generally not a "one size fits all" type girl (e.g., light, medium, dark) - it just never works for me. After spending a small fortune on eyebrow items that were too light, too dark, too cakey, too chalky - along comes this one.
1. I LOVE the name. Push up bra - it doesn't get much better than that, does it? Nope!!!
2. This pencil is really universal. I bought NYX's brown powder in black because the Milani dark brown eyebrow powder looked fake.
This pencil goes on perfectly and blends as well as layers with great ease.
The lighter end/concealer end is amazing in itself. I use it per the directions AND I use it on the bridge of my nose and on the small turned down portion on the corner of my lips.
This is amazing and quite versatile.

just purchased this yesterday and it is AMAZING !!!!!!!!! it reminds me of the anastisa eyebrow pencil but better the highlighter is creamy and gives ur eye brows a defined look while the brow pencil is a perfect matte color . the only problem is it comes only in one color which prob doesnt suite all hair types but since its a newer product im sure they will come out with more ! i deffently suggest everyone purchases this product !!!

This is a daily staple for me. The brow pencil is a great neutral tone. Love it for casual, quick brow definition, not 5 minute fancy brows. I love-love-love the matte highlighter- it just makes my look complete by brightening and highlighting the eye and brow area. I highly recommend.

I bought this duo-sided jumbo pencil mainly for the highlighting end (NC15 for reference). This side is an almost matte, fleshy soft pink that somehow gives a subtle glow. I finger blend this in the inner corners and under the browbone to help to brighten my eyes and look more awake. NYX packaging says this product can be used as a concealer, but I disagree. I don't find that it provides any coverage for discoloration or dark circles, only illumination. The brow end of the pencil worked surprisingly well. I was concerned the shade would be too dark since I generally use a taupe brow powder, but I was able to make the brow pencil side work. I'm going to use my "push-up" mostly for touch ups so this is going into my daily makeup bag.

NYX's website describes this as "Dual-sided pencil that defines and highlights brows. The defining side created in a universal shade flatters all brow tones while the highlighter side lifts and brightens the eye area. The Eyebrow Push-Up Bra can also be used as a concealer"
I really wanted the Anastasia version to this because I needed a highlighter/brow pencil with built in wax for travel purposes. I tried both at Ulta, one on each brow and they were practically identical in application, texture and size. The only difference was the price tag. It applies naturally, not dark nor too light, so no need to comb through application like you should with a brow powder or heavy pencil. It's buildable so application is controlled. I have dark skin, so the highlighter was a tad stark without blending. I took my ring finger and blended it out and it was perfect. I would definitely repurchase this. I have very black brows and it worked perfectly even though it's brown in color. It's universally flattering unless your brows are blond. You will need a jumbo sharpener, but you can easily find these at any beauty supply store. It kept my brows in place (as my brow thins out, my hairs point downward), they were not hard and stiff like with a gel setter. A definite must have for easy peasy brows. I have not used this as a concealer. The highlight side does not suit my NC40 skin. Retailed for $9.99 at Ulta.
