This was a gift from a friend who knows how enamored I am of Wonder Woman (obviously i am not alone - hence the Wonder Woman collection!) and I was thrilled to receive it, because I felt that 20.00 was a bit much for a lipglass (and of COURSE i knew i was primarily purchasing the packaging). I didn't realize how much more product came in this version, and how much I would like the product overall. I haven't had any problem with the oversized applicator - I really like it! It took me aback at first but i am enjoying it so much now! The color is great on me; i've never liked the texture/stickiness of lipglass, and i still don't - but i am thrilled with this present and i LOVE the adorable packaging. If you are a fan of lipglass this is probably something you should look into - financially you get so much more product!! Like i said, i don't like the product so much - i look at this as a collectors item that i can actually wear, which is a huge bonus :)

I got this in the red Wonder Woman color. It's an opaque bright red. Like all of mac's lipglassess, it's very sticky. To make this more runny, i always apply lipbalm before. Makes the lipglass go on much more smoother and thins out the formula on your lips. I always need lipcolor on or else i look dead and berry colors look best on me. Although this is red, it i dab this on, it comes out like a redish berry. It's so pretty. [:
The packaging is so cute. It's GIGANTIC. The wand is like the size of my nail. It's ridiculous, but i like it. You get more than twice the product of a regular lipglass for about $5 more. GREAT DEAL! ;D
but the wand is so large for the container itself, that when you take it out, you have to take it out slowly and gently or else it will splash everywhere. the packaging is my only real problem with it, but i still think the size of this is the cutest thing ever.
The only reason i wont buy this again is because ill never run out. It's so large and i use only a little each time i apply this because its so pigmented.

I bought the Wonder Woman (red) lipglass recently

Pros:
LARGE size! Lots of product
Very pigmented
Last long time
Dosen't feel dry on the lips

Cons:
Expensive ($20), but you do get a lot of product
The wand is HUGE and it's hard to get out of the container

I love this lipglass! I love the color, it's a lovely red with reddish/gold sparkle to it. I don't like how hard it is to get the applicator out of the container though! I normally end up with a splash of lip gloss in my lap. But I would purchase this again, I actually just ordered a different color online. Love Wonder Woman, and Love MAC, so this was a great buy for me!

I bought this in Athena's Kiss and Wonder Woman. I love the colors, and MAC lipglass remains one of my favorite products, but the packaging just kills this product for me. I love the look of the container, the Wonder Woman design is adorable. However, the super-sized lipglass is better in theory than in practice. First off, the wand doesn't fit in the tube properly. It's a really tight fit that makes me struggle to get it out, and every time I pull the wand out, a dollop of lipglass goes flying, no matter how careful I am. Really poor design there. Also, the vamped up size of the doefoot applicator make it hard to apply the lipglass evenly. I feel like I get a coat on, but when I go back to touch up areas I'm just pushing the product around. It's also kind of uncomfortable. I think this doefoot is made of a different kind of fabric than the usual applicator, it feels scratchy.

I still love the lipglass and will keep wearing it, but I wish they had made these in the usual lipglass size, it would make the product much easier to use.

I bought the emancipation lipgloss and I love it.Its the most perfect shade of pink for my pale complexion.I've heard of people having a hard time with the packaging, but I like it,just be easy with it when your pulling the applicator out,and your golden. My favorite way to wear it is over my viva glam cyndi lipstick and it makes the prettiest hue ever ...yes I said ever :)

I bought the Emancipation of Work - love the color - hate the large container. The applicator is way too big and hard to pull out and when you do finally get it out, a big dollop of product falls on your lap. Then when you try to apply the product the doe tip application is way too big and awkward. I love MAC, but this product's horrible.

I got Secret Identity. It's a perfect nude for my NW43/45 skin tone. I love the packaging. I want to get Emancipation and another Secret Identity for backup. I've read that people have a problem with pulling the wand out but just be easy and you won't fling lip gloss everywhere. I'd def recomend getting at least one of these before they go. Oh and can I say I'm loving the big applicator?! It makes applying on my African American lips easier! LOL

I love the packaging, and the huge size. I have 3 colors- Emancipation (pale pink), Secret Identity (copper) and Athena's Kiss (fuschia).
My lips have deep natural coloring, and all 3 of the colors accentuate it just right with their tones.
I didn't get the red shade (wonder woman) because I tried it on from a friend, and the red looked kinda tacky. The others were great, and the look like they'll last forever.

All of the Wonder Woman collection glosses seem relatively sheer, so they do go well with lipstick under them or alone. Online it's described as a bright red with soft pearl. I know people have some issues with this packaging, so I will explain it. Wonder Woman was a show in the 70's, so the theme is retro packaging. Bigger was better, and the bigger products are kind of a novelty for fun. You get more product, so what is the big deal? Not many people honestly look through your makeup bag. This gloss is kind of cute to me because it's like pulling a gun out of your purse. While the regular Lipglass is a pea shooter though, this is a magnum. So remember that while some products may confuse you for a second, just think that there is a reason behind them. The shades are universal and people will get a lot of use from them. If you don't want to use the wand because it could go rancid quicker, then dip an orange stick into the tube and use a lip brush.
