I wouldn't buy it again. I think most people value it because it treats skin as well as covers it but I just found the coverage quite poor and accentuating my spot rather than hiding it. It did such a poor job I ended up washing it off and opting for my usual concealer. If ur skin isn't too uneven it dry I imagine it would yield better results

This is a great concealer. It isn't totally opaque unless you build it, but the thing is a totally opaque concealer over a raised pimple tends to look obvious and cakey. The thinner formula of this product gives more of a soft-focus finish without any possibility of looking dry, cakey, or blotchy unless you really layer it on. And the tea tree oil works! I put this on any regular blemish in the morning and it's flat or almost flat by evening. And I think it prevents my pimples from leaving behind a red mark too. Hooray! I use it under my skin79 vip gold bb cream (since I pat the bb on it doesn't screw up the coverage) or over foundation (since blending out foundation would wipe off the concealer). Then I put some translucent powder on. It lasts all day this way (although I have yet to experience it in hot weather, it's quite cold in nyc right now). This was 19-ish dollars at Duane Reade but I have seen it at TJMaxx in gift sets that were super cheap and came with several fullsize TheBalm products! Unfortch all the ones at my TJ were tampered with and I couldn't bring myself to buy something that god knows whose fingers were in. I have the color nude, although I usually buy concealer lighter, but the lighter shade is pinky and this one is yellowey like me. I would totally buy again, it should last forever so the price is no big deal. I do wish it was in a tube, but I guess you can't get everything you want haha

This concealer was a bit too yellow for my skin tone, but what's great about it is the tea tree oil. It's an all natural product, and it both covers and treats acne spots. It's not oily and blends very well. I don't particularly like that it's a wand, but it makes application easier and it coats thinly.

Finally I have found a concealer that actually hides and treats my acne breakouts at the same time. I purchased this based upon all the positive reviews and I am so glad that I did. This stuff works great! My breakouts seem to be clearing up much faster after I started using this product. I purchased it on Amazon (color nude) for $18.48 which included the shipping costs. The only negative is I'm not a big fan of the packaging.Be sure to make sure to shut the cap really tight as it may leak out. This is my new HG acne/red spot concealer and treatment.

I recieved this concealer in a set with other TheBalm products at my local Marshalls. The big reason why I was interested in this product was because its formulated with tea tree oil. Everyone knows that tea tree oil helps keep break outs at bay. Being a teenager, I have pimples and problem spots quite often. So I've been wanting to try a concealer of this nature for a while now. These concealers run a bit light, but I don't find it too much of an issue. I do think when I use this concealer it speeds up the life of my pimple. This is a staple in my makeup routine. Love this!

Pretty pricey but definitely a great spot concealer. I love that this has teatree and actually helps to clear skin :) Nude is the perfect colour for my NC25 skin. It has great coverage and it blends nicely.

Great coverage, doesn't flake on top of your zit and look really obvious (like almost every other concealer I've ever tried on acne) and you can definitely smell and feel the tea tree oil working when you apply it. I can notice that my zits are smaller by the end of the day. Pricey if bought at full price, but I got mine in a gift set at TJ Maxx with the tinted moisturizer (my fave!), the regular concealer and the Sexy Mama powder, all full size, for $30. The set was a great deal and all the products are amazing, so I highly recommend it!

I dont' have ANY Zits or any blemishes on my face, but recently, when I did a laser to get rid of my moles, it left a mark damn... it's like a bit reddy kind of thing, not too obvious.
I wanted to cover it of course, I mean at school, people seeing you having that awkward thing is just ...awkward. So I have a lot of undereye concealers, but they dont seem to do the job, so I was planning to find a concealer just for the face!
At first I was planning to buy the laura mericer secret camouflage, but then I came across the time balm which has tea tree oil, so I thought it might as well even HEAL it! so I brought it. it's actually prettty good, the smell is GOOD too! haha
I haven't seen any progress with that mole mark since I've only used it once, but i'll tell you guys when I know, oh, and this gives a pretty good coverage too! so I do recommend!

This is a spot concealer with Tea Tree Oil. Basically its a concealer for acne. Now I picked this up because an SA recommended it for me and because it matched my skin so well, or so I thought. It ended up being a little too yellow/brown for me (I got it in Honey), but I still love it because its light, it blends easily and also because of the Tea Tree Oil I feel like at least it isn't clogging my pores. I haven't broken out with it either. It does melt in hot weather but you can always reapply. Not a bad product. As with all theBalm products, the packaging is super cute.

I purchased this primarily because I needed a concealer that was going to help with my acne. Actually, I bought it for the wellness of my skin in general because it has really been acting up lately.
This contains tea tree oil, which has antibacterial properties that help with zits and inflammation. It comes in a lipgloss-like tube and has a doe-foot applicator.
I was surprised to find that it did actually help with the zits, more noticeably with the larger ones. Also, my dermatologist put me on tretinoin a month ago, and certain parts of my skin have been really red and irritated; this concealer actually helped soothe those areas!
This does have that tea tree oil scent, which I totally LOVE, so it was a plus in my book.
I find this liquid concealer to be a little dry once it settles on your skin- not good for my currently flaky face- but it still didn't accentuate my dry patches as much as other concealers. Considering how much good it does for the inflammation, I have accepted this trade-off goodnaturedly.
The coverage, however, is not exactly at par with heavy duty concealers, which is to be expected from a liquid. I use this mainly to cover up acne, acne scars, redness, and inflammation, and I find that using a little bit at a time and building it up helps provide more coverage. If you just use a big dollop in one go, you'll end up blending it out more and just have your flaws peek through anyway.
A huge con is that this only comes in three shades Fair, Nude, and Honey. I use Nude, but it is a bit too dark for my NC 25-30 skin. Fair was much too light. Despite some people saying that concealer should be lighter than your skin, I chose Nude because it was actually closer to my coloring and I knew that I would find it easier to blend out. I generally prefer concealer to be the exact color of my skin (for the under-eye area, I do sometimes go the tiniest bit lighter), but in this case, Nude was the best option. The foundation I use OVER it evens everything out anyway.
I do not use this concealer for the under-eye area as I find it a little too dry for that. For the parts of my face that are still normal and not too ravaged by the tretinoin, the dryness is all right because I have Combo-Oily skin. Still, it does fade after a while (around three-four hours, for me). I bring it around with me anyway because of the convenient packaging and the skin benefits.
At this point in my (dermatological) life, this product is a godsend. I was really surprised to find that not only did it cover blemishes, it actually did help my skin feel better; I really thought the tea tree oil bit was just marketing. This is a good everyday concealer, especially for people with real skin issues, but it WON'T conceal intense hyperpigmentation or other blemishes that would need heavier coverage. Despite this, I would buy this product again because I don't think my skin issues will be leaving me soon (losing faith in tretinoin because I don't see any improvement).

Quick review - As a longtime fan of the orginial timeBalm concealer and a recent massive breakout from a moisturizer I was in need of something a little more.
For undereye and discoloration the original concealer does an Awesome job, but once a raised blemish appears the coverage can be harsh and just a simple coverage. The liquid timeBalm has Tea Tree Oil to help get rid of the inflammation and help heal. I personally did not find the scent overpowering.
The formula is easy to work with - I applied before my TM (also theBalm) and after for one pesky blemish and was happy with results. My massive breakout was a rash of blemishes small and large, after one application the small blemishes that I have been battling with for over a week have dimished by 50% so Yes it does work. :) The larger blemishes have reduced in size and no longer red and inflamed.
I'm a Neutral 25 and use Light/Medium for timeBalm, BalmShelter TM and the Liquid timeBalm. I purchased the liquid from beauty.com and it was labeled as Nude and after some research it was in fact Light/Medium.
The product reads that it should be kept cool. The package seems to be a plastic lipgloss like tube encased in an aluminum case to help keep the product at a lower temperature.
