I bought 3 in black, and one in brown.

you see last year I was able to snag one.. and fell madly in love with the fact that I can define/line and not get smudgey eyes.. This pencil goes on silky smooth, sets and stays on.. and I use my eye creams or else I would not even bother lining. This is a perfect pencil.. and I am sad that it's another limited edition item.

if you can find one, get it.. you won't be sorry.

love it.

What a shame this is a limited edition. I was lucky enough to find the very last one on sale in Harrods! I got it in dark brown. It goes on amazingly, like silk and it is easy to smudge (do not wait too long though as once it is set it does not move). And it lasts all day. I love to use this when it is hot and when I play golf as it does not flake and stays in place all day. It is easy to remove in the evening (I use crealine with a q=tip). GA: make this a permanent product!

This is a review for the black one.

I hate to rain on the parade, but this isn't that amazing. I bought this because I wanted a VERY black eyeliner that I could use on the waterline that would not come off. Miss Karla Sugar and the reviews here led me to believe this was the one. It's a little pricey and hard to find, but I managed to swap for it.

While the product is definitely a good eyeliner, it does come off. It fades slower than other eyeliners I've used on the waterline (definitely better than UD 24/7). It is also much more of a deep, true black. The problems are: being a pencil liner, its hard to get a precise, thin, line. It does eventually fade. It's semi-blendable right after you put it on, and then it does set pretty well. it is not the miracle of water-lining that I'd hoped it'd be.

Purchased the #2 color taupey brown. I've gone through this super fast. I do use it ever day. What I really like about it is how smooth the formula goes on, and once you have applied it, it pretty much doesnt budge all day. Its got great staying power. I felt the black in this pencil was a little too intense, and that it why I went with the taupe. Its a great eyeliner color, nice for a simple everyday color. Its a quick go-to for me also because of the ease of application! This is probably my favorite eyeliner ever, so it is really dissapointing that it is Limited Edition. GA bring this back please!!!

I am a big GA fan and I have bought 2 of the #2 and 1 of the black. Wish I could be totally in love but I'm not.

Love the brown color for me. It's a cool brown with just a tiny hint of shimmer (somehow different from the shimmer in BB gel liners). It's a very flattering color. Neutral but not boring.
I love the ease of use. It does glide on easily and smoothly. You can sharpen it and get a very fine point to make a very fine line.
The black is very black. I feel it's too harsh for me for a daytime look but I could see it working for others.
Cons - I find it doesn't last that long on me. At my age my eyelids are not that oily. I use BB cream eye shadow as a base. I line my top lids with this pencil and then use powder eye shadow over the whole lid. Even if I wait 5 to 10 minutes to curl my eye lashes, some of the pencil comes off onto the curler. (This doesn't happen with chanel's le stylo in cassis or BB's gel liners).
I also wouldn't say it's waterproof. If I rub my eye it will smudge.
I'd love to know if there is a dupe for this.

Believe the hype, girls - this is the liner to beat. I am not much of a GA fan, inasmuch as they have not yet created a foundation that matches me (Teint Innocence Cameo), but after reading everything about the godliness of these LE liners, I had to try them out. Wow, wow and wow.

I have never seen so true a Black in my life - jet! The Brown is as close to Black as you can get without actually being Black. (I'm confused at some references to this as being a Taupey Brown. Huh? In my book, that implies some grey in the shade. No, there isn't any.) The Green is very, very dark, but still green; kind of a deep green with a touch a black added to the formula? When tested on my hand, they virtually *melted* onto the skin. I let them sit there for 5 minutes while I scoped the foundations (that don't match my skin) and then I took a Kleenex & wiped it firmly across my hand. Wow! All three colors remained intact. I used as much force as I could, & they were still good to go.

I bought the Brown & applied it immediately. Absolute perfection. As I said, this Brown is like one-off from Black; sooooo dark, but not harsh. Eight hours later & my eyes still look perfect (applied on lid only).

IMHO this is absolutely worth the dough. I'm tempted to buy a backup.

I love this liner. I have the #2 called bark brown. It's a beautiful dark taupe brown, creamy going on and stays forever. Really makes my brown eyes stand out. A bit pricey at $27, but you don't need to reapply so it's a good value.
