This looks so pretty as a "topper" lipstick; wear it on top of a matte l/s if you want more shine. Or to tone down a bright l/s to make it more office appropo. And I know this will get a lot of use this summer. I wear this w/ Rimmel Eastend Snob lipliner. Perfect golden glowey-nudey-pink lip.

I am a slightly neutral NW10-15 for reference. Yes, this is a line targeted to darker skin, but hey, thought I would give it a try.
I think this lipstick would look great on a warm, dark skin. It was way too warm for my skin tone, and it has these gold flecks which I would imagine are prettier with dark skin. The formula was not that nice though - very dry, like you have to scratch it on. The gold flecks feel scratchy and chunky, looks thick on my lips. Not a repurchase.

This was one of the first Lip Perfection shades I picked up. It's gorgeous in the summer. It may go on sheer, but you don't really want a super pigmented lipstick in the warm weather. The golden shimmer in it makes it special compared to other lipsticks. It keeps it from looking frosty. I think it's best mixed with other colors. I looked over both Lip Perfection lines and you can go back and forth and choose any shade you want really. The Queen collection has more warm shades, and a lot of them are unique for the drugstore. A few in this line will wash out darker skin tones. That kind of defeats the purpose since it's in the Queen collection.

For starters I am African american and Medium brown skin red/ yellow undertone ( Angela basset , Janet jackson ) This is a Pretty summer Color thats makes you look like your actually at the beach * hint the name* It is a bit glittery but it reflects light while in the sun to give you a gorgous look but indoors...ummm could look kinda like a glittery pony! overall yes you should just add this to your lipstick collection
Age: 44-55 Skin: Acne-prone, Fair-Medium, Neutral Hair: Brown, Wavy, Fine Eyes: Green
The packages indicates a mid-tone coral nude. Product on me looks like I've applied gold leaf to my lips. There is a serious amount of micro fine gilt glitter that can only be taken seriously after blotting and over-topping with a balm to reduce the glare. You'll also want to eradicate glitter migration off the lips. I'm super disappointed because this is a great formula, but I'm still waiting for CG to make my ideal nude in this line.

This lipstick is a peachy pink frost with kinda sparkly shimmer. You can feel the sparkly shimmer when you rub your lips together. I have to I top this with clear gloss and a brown liner because otherwise it looks like a hot shimmery frosty mess. The color does lean more toward nude that can be worn with any eye/cheek color. I will not purchase again because I don't too much care for the sparkly shimmer. The color is very similar to MAC Viva Glam V but this is more pink in color.
