This was an impulse buy. Near the checkout counter, my Sephora has the OPI rack... with plenty of testers... oh, the temptation...
No photo can do the color of Mash Up justice. The base is beige-y grey but the finish is very opalescent. It isn't glittery, it's very chromatic reflects - it can appear pink, purple, blue, or green - the color keeps changing as your hands move in relation to the light. This may not be a safe for work color (depending on your workplace, of course). But it is fun and cheerful! and great for sunny days (when you can watch your nails change colors :-)

I'm digging this color! Haven't been a fan of iridescent nail polish since high school (OPI Cotton Candy, anyone?) but this one caught my eye. Color can be gray, green, or purple depending on the light you're in which is kinda neat. And, yes, it is $9.50 a bottle which isn't cheap, but it certainly isn't as pricey as Chanel, Butter, Dior, Nars, etc. If you don't like it you can always return it thanks to Sephora's wonderful return policy!

I thought I was really going to like this based on the way it looked in the bottle, but when I put it on, I didn't like it as much. Sephora's website describes Mash Up as a opaque opalescent gray. It's really like a beige-y gray with a pink irredescence.
IMHO, it kinda made my hands look like they were dead. Not a look I tend to go for. Definitely won't be re-purchasing.
*As a sidenote, Sephora's polishes are made for them by OPI. On average, a bottle of OPI is $8. These Sephora colors are $9.50. A little pricey for me, considering I could easily go to another store and buy any OPI color under the rainbow.

Eh... kind of expected more from this one. Maybe it's my skintone, but this made my nails look 'corpsy'. There are dimensions of green and purple in this polish, that much is true. I was expecting the actual 'base' of this to be more grey, and a little more opaque. I'll likely return this one.

This is such a unique color. Out of the whole gLee line this one popped out the most and was the last one at my Sephora. The formula and finish reminds me of Mermaid to Order, another OPI by Sephora nail polish. You get a nice opaque color with 2 coats but 3 is still doable. I did 3 and it didn't get too thick which is somethig I love with this type of finish/formula. The color is so different, it's like irridescent geenish silver and pinkish silver. It's hard to discribe. The color changes in different lighting. Check it out for yourself, it's awesome!!

I LOVE THIS NAIL POLISH. I only gave it a 4 out of five because it looks alot cooler in the bottle. In the description it says that its gray/silver and that really doesn't give it enough credit. In some lights it looks more green, while in others it looks purple, it's sooo cool, and the dimension definately does show up on your nails

Described as a opaque opalescent gray by Sephora. To me it is a warm steel medium gray. Not a bright silver. Not a dark slate color. It is very pretty on the nails and even prettier with a coat of "flurry up" sparkles. Adds a nice dimension. Usually Sopi nail polishes last a week w/out much chipping so we will see if Mash Up will too! The only down side is that this special Glee collection is $9.50 a bottle rather than the normal $9.
