I'm on the fence about this eyeshadow. I love it as a crease color to warm up other shades, but I tried it out as a lid color and it looked AWFUL. I looked like I was sick with pink eye. I came out of the bathroom and my husband said "wow babe are you feeling okay, your eyes are so red"? I about died. I couldn't go to work at the hospital looking like that lol. I will never have to worry about repurchasing because the pot is huge compared to other M.A.C shadows.

Pretty nice. Much larger than average MAC eyeshadows though I've never hit pan on any eyeshadow so I'm not too worried!
I don't mind this on its own though I don't think it's over pigmented (not as soft and buttery as theBalm's Shady Lady palette eyeshadows for example) but adequate.
I love it over the top of Maybelline's 24 Hr Colour Tattoo in Pomegranate Punk! This is where it shines. I wear it on the lid with MAC Bronze in the crease (with Essence Pas De Copper cream eyeshadow as a base).

I really like this color for my brown eyes. It is one of the few in this collection that worked for me. I use it both over the entire lid or in the crease to warm up any forms of other colors. I don't find the "metallic" nature of it to be too overwhelming for my 56 year old eyes! Of course, I doubt I will ever have to repurchase because these are the shadows that are in the HUGE pots.

I am astounded that Sexpectations has only had 1 other review so far. It's a beautiful berry red that looks amazing on blue eyes. I wear it with Soft Ochre paintpot as a base under Ricepaper then put Sexpectations in the Crease with a bit of Centre Stage in the V. The Peacocky colletion is just the best!

This is a really color to work with... Start slow (comes out pink) then can build up to a cranberry!!! Not too much glitter or drag type metallic..,, great great color so smooth!!!!
