This did absolutely nothing. I put in on thinking that my face would be matte, but it looks exactly the same. If you are looking for a really good matte product, try Medi-Matte. That's what I should have purchased instead of this. I'm taking it back.

The bottle sucks and is small for what you pay for. However, I do see a difference in my oily skin. It looks much more in tact as the day wears on. It is very watery. I apply it by dripping it into my palm and taking my elf flat top brush and patting it into my oily areas. I found that putting it on after I have put my foundation and powder on works best. I suggest to pat into your skin instead of smearing it as if it were a lotion.

I don’t know why I keep trying other products besides MoM, but it’s like an addiction I guess!
I found this product online and picked it at Target (6 bucks I believe). Wow that is a small bottle. I guess you don’t need much each time, but I was surprised how small it was!
So you’re supposed to shake well before use, then apply to your hand I guess? Well it is so watery, it’s really a mess (and a waste of product!). I tried it for a while – just dousing it onto my fingers, then onto my T zone. It seems okay at first, but I don’t think it has any lasting power whatsoever.
Maybe it’s just me though, the other reviews are really great, so who knows!

I bought this a while back. It's a really small container for what you pay. I tried it and didn't seem to see a difference. It seems like others are loving this so I'd suggest you still try it or Milk of Magnesia. Others love it but I'm just "meh" hence the 3.

I love this product. it literally does instantly matte your face. I have very oily skin. my only issue is it is very watery! and most of it drips off your fingers before you get it to your face. but i just put mine into an old travel size urban decay de slick bottle and spray it on my face. they both contain 15 ml. but honestly i see WAY better results with the boots brand!

When i first bought this i was scared... it was soooo small and the applicator bottle was terrible, consistency like water. BUT it did a fairly decent job at controlling my oily T-zone. I only applied to my t-zone - usually using small drops and kind of patting w/my fingers to the area before and sometimes after my regular moisturizer. I still get a tad bit oily but not nearly as much as before. Now I only have to blot once or twice a day vs like five. I think I'll try the shine control lotion next.

I was very confused and skeptical when this came out onto my finger looking like water. I thought it would be a thin cream like most other primers. The wateryness of it is actually a little annoying, because combined with the kind of dropper bottle that they have it in, it's difficult to get a precise amount. If you get too much it just drips right off your finger and is wasted.
Anyway, I use this on basically my whole face except for my cheeks, and it's cool to see the difference of how my makeup applies so much more smooth and even on the areas it's been applied. In terms of keeping me shine-free... well, it doesn't, but it definitely reduces the amount of oil I have to deal with. Usually I have to use 2 blotter sheets but this keeps it down to one, with room leftover to spare! My face still gets a little shiny but I don't think it looks bad, just kind of glowy or dewy.
Overall this isn't a miracle product but it was cheap-ish (about 6 dollars) and does about as much as I would expect. The real test of whether or not I will repurchase will be how long it takes me to go through the (teeny-tiny!) bottle.

I bought this based on all the 5 star reviews but honestly I don't see what the big deal is. I've been using for about three weeks, applied over moisturizer and under foundation but by the end of the day my foundation and powder have melted off and my skin is just as oily as ever. Maybe I have unusually oily skin, IDK. Also purchased the matching moisturizer in hopes that would help but I can't tell a difference. I blot all day long and by lunch my T-zone has lost all traces of makeup. I use oil-free everything and was hoping for a bit of relief, but so far I haven't found any product that does much good.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this! I have extremely oily skin, with this product, I can put my foundation on in the morning put powder over and thats it til I take my makeup off, before I found this I would have to touch up and still be greasy at the end of a day. I dont even have to powder so it reduces any cakiness that could happen if u constantly have to repowder. The only downfall of this product is packaging...They really need to reformulate the bottle, but its not gonna stop me from repurchasing.

This is HG! My face is basically an oil factory, Im constatly blotting all day long and I still look like I could guide a plane with the reflection off my face! I have used this for a couple of days and my face has never been so matte and my makeup has never lasted so long! I wear EL double wear and that alone helped to control my oil, but I still would get shiny, but this stuff makes it so that i only have to blot once maybe twice a day. Its like magic in a bottle, but I do wish that it had more of an eye dropper top instead of just a flat dropper top, but other than that its AMAZING!
Oh and used with the boots oil control lotion its twice as lovely!

This is a wonderful product for oily skin. I tend to have a "shiny" T-zone by the end of the work day. I use this on top of my tinted moisturizer on days I don't wear my BE minerals foundation. Prevents the shine that happens around midday. I love the fact it's a liquid--I just add it to my moisturizer and apply. 2 drops are plenty. Has not made me breakout--using it for about a month. Relatively inexpensive. I used to use Benefit Dr. Feelgood balm--I prefer this product. Definitely would recommend this product. I'm slowly becoming a Boot's fan--thankfully my local Target carries this brand.

I've always thought of myself having combination skin, but I think the moisterizer I'm currently using I think is making me oiler than usual. No breakouts, but usually after about 45 min. my face gets noticeably greasy. Well I tried this out for the first time today. I have to be honest I wasn't expecting much. I don't like the way the the product dispenses, basically a drip on the finger and apply. But I applied to my usual oily spots. I went out saw a movie, did some shopping. When I came back home and checked in the mirror, I was surprised to find that my face was still not shiny! So I'm quite happy with this product. I would buy this again.

I have a very oily complexion (especially in winter - natural reaction to the dryness and cold) and this kept it in check for over 8hrs. I'd honestly have to say this is a HG for me, and I'll definitely be trying out more of the No. 7 line.

O-M-G!!! This product is like magic in a bottle. Ive tried various mattifiers over the years and this is hands down the best!!!
A few drops goes a long way! I apply it after my moisturizer but before my foundation. Im shine free all day with no need for touch ups!
Absolutely recommend this to any one looking to be shine free without adding extra layers of makeup.
LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS!!!!

Love this! I own both this and MAC's Matte, but this wins hands down. It's a liquid formula that comes out of a drip bottle, and you apply one drop at a time until you are finished. I purchased this at Target when I was re-buying Boots Anti-Blemish line, and thought I'd give it a shot, and I'm glad it did. I applied it after my moisturizer and before foundation, and it did keep me less shiny than normal.
