This is one of my favorite scents from BBW. The packaging is adorable, all blue and pink and the scent is divine. BBW describes this scent to be designed "the smell the way falling in love feels" They could not have done a better job with the description as how that is exactly what it is like. its light, sweet, and fruity. absolute perfection, I only marked it down a lippie because it doesnt last very long. It is almost necessary to keep in your purse so you can reapply later. However, I would still repurchase over and over.

This smelled like whipped cream and strawberries when I first sprayed it.. It was nice at first, but then it turned nauseating, and the whipped cream smell turned more into a sour milk smell. I guess it just doesn't work with my body chemistry, because my friend has this, and it smells amazing on her.

[BATH & BODY WORKS SERIES #7] To me, Carried Away started out as an underachiever, then it became an underdog. I never had anything against it; it just took a long time to distinguish itself. Cute packaging concept (bouquets of various flowers floating in the sky like balloons), but kind of “meh” in execution. Nice fragrance (tart notes of raspberry and meyer lemon mellowed by jasmine and creamy earthy sweetness), but not a huge shakeup from any other fruit-meets-flowers in my experience. So I ignored it and ignored it until, long story short, it took an accident—a lotion eruption--to get some on me. Deciding to just go with it, I raided the samples for more, plus a few blasts of fragrance mist. Imagine my surprise when it didn’t disappoint. The fruity tang, whang, whatever melted down into the floral heart, creating a clean, vaguely lickable freshness that I never would have expected, given my temperamental body chemistry. It’s not a very self-evident scent once it’s settled into your skin—well, my skin, really—but I like that subtlety, and even as it’s ghosting out, it retains most of its upbeat, free-spirited personality. Also, for the record, I don’t think it smells anything like Sweet Pea, despite sharing a fragrance note or two: Sweet Pea is more of an old-money-antibellum-front-porch-with-a-mint-julep thing, whereas Carried Away evokes a younger, looser, girls-just-wanna-have-fun mood. Will definitely purchase the minis come spring.

I like this scent a lot. I am not usually one to go for the floral scents, but the berry really adds that zing that makes me love it. I LOVE the fragrance mist and perfume packaging, but i don't like the lotion and shower gel packaging. It is too cartoony and whimsical for my taste(it is a bunch of flowers floating in the sky, really weird). My only other problem is that the mist doesn't last long. I sprayed 5 mists on my body and clothes and 3 minutes later, it was literally gone. If i was lucky, i could smell my shirt and pick up the tiniest bit of flowers. Not even once in a blue moon. I hoping to buy the whole scent line so i can layer it. Layering is the key to enhancing its longevity, which is essential if you want to put this frangrance on.

I'm not one for fruity trails, but carried away is making me think again. Its a "straight after shower", refreshing compliment. My only problem is that the scent doesn't stay on for more than a couple hours. But I keep it with me, for the wear out.

I love Carried Away. To make it last I use the bath gel in the shower, than I spray, topping with the lotion. I take the travel size perfume and lotion in my purse for touchups. To me it doesn't smell like Sweet Pea at all. It's a fun, fruity scent.

Bath&BodyWorks describes Carried Away as a "Whimsical blend of lush raspberries, white jasmine, and whipped vanilla, inspired by the way love sweeps you off your feet". I previously raved about Carried Away in the review for this scent's body lotion. As you know, Bath&BodyWorks recently reformulated and repackaged their beloved body sprays into Fine Fragrance Mists, which are supposed to contain less alcohol and a higher concentration of fragrance with a more delicate mist. Bath&BodyWorks also claims that their Fine Fragrance Mists contain aloe to nourish and condition the skin. Bath&BodyWorks is a cruelty free brand that makes all their products in the USA. This brand has even won an award from PETA (whether or not that's a good thing is up to you). I purchased my 3fl oz mini bottle for $3.33 on a 3/$10 deal, but they regularly sell for $6, full 8fl oz sizes sell for $14.
Packaging is plainer compared to other Fine Fragrance Mists, and lacks the whimsical imagery that made the body lotion so charming. The recyclable plastic bottle features the name of the product written in silver cursive. Blue and fuchsia ribbons wrap about the bottle. It's nice but plain, I feel like they could've at least included one flower on the back or something. A little sticker on the bottom of the bottle peels off to reveal the ingredient list, but I kinda lost it.
Bath&BodyWorks says that the new "Fine Fragrance Pump" gives more precise control over scent placement and gives a more delicate misting of product. Personally I don't see a difference, at least not with the mist. Actually I don't know why Bath&BodyWorks felt the need to get so technical with their pumps. But anyway, the only actual difference I notice is how much harder you need to press to spritz the Fine Fragrance Mists. I don't want to put that much effort into spraying a body spray, and really I shouldn't have to. Sometimes it takes both hands to spritz. What is this I don't even.
On to the actual scent, let me list out the scent notes for you.
Top Notes: Italian Bergamot, Meyer Lemon, Mandarin, Juicy Pear Nectar, Lush Raspberries
Mid Notes: Purple Freesia, White Tuberone, Soft Violet Petals
Dry Notes: Creamy Sandalwood, Whipped Vanilla, Musk
I love Carried Away. In my opinion it's like a mix of two of my favorite Bath&BodyWorks scents; Charmed Life and Sweet Pea. Some find it too similar to the aforementioned scents, because they share many scent notes, but I think Carried Away is definitely unique, but in the same family. Carried Away is a little different in Fine Fragrance Mist form, it's more perfumey. Raspberry is the most outstanding note in this scent with wispy notes of freesia, and violet, and slightly tart lemons and pears, and a creamy, yogurt like scent which I think might be from the lemon and vanilla interacting. It all kinda blends together into a raspberry yogurt kind of scent. Yinz probably know that raspberry yogurt is my mortal enemy, but for some reason, Carried Away works for me. It's girly but not too fruity, and the floral notes are very light and airy. The lemony, tart edge is playful and a little unexpecgted in a good way.
When first spritzed on, Carried Away is quite strong and alcoholic, but it dries down within moments to it's true scent. I feel like the reformulated Fine Fragrance Mists have really poor staying power. Carried Away lasts 2-3 hours on me, but it lingers really closely to the skin, so it's barely noticeable. It definitely lasts better sprayed onto fabrics. You have two options for making Carried Away last all day. Layer it with similar scents or other Carried Away products, or buy the mini bottle and carry it around with you.
I really like Bath&BodyWork's Carried Away Fine Fragrance Mist. It's one of my favorite scents. The lasting power is pretty poor, and I'm going through it really quickly, mainly because of how much I love this scent. It's playful and fresh, fruity with only the tiniest floral hints and a really interesting yogurt aspect. It may not actually remind me of how love sweeps me off my feet, but I do think Carried Away is a lovely, feminine scent that I plan to repurchase when I get back home, what's left of my current bottle is being left in Aus.

This is too sweet for me. I used to love this, but not anymore. I fortunately don't smell any raspberries, which is good because I don't like them. It's nice and light, but too sweet.

this is my most favorite scent ever! you know when a scent just screms you? this is that scent. they describe it as a blend of lush raspberries, white jasmine, & whipped vanilla, I must say that is the perfect combination!
I cannot rave enough over this scent: not overpowering & not too light either; it's perfect for everyone!

The best way to describe this scent is the scent of hairspray!
It smells sweet and airy.
I would say that not every person may like this, but I do tend to reach for this one on a day to day basis because it is very light and clean scented. It's not overly sweet or fruity, but a nice balance.
I wouldn't repurchase this as I am not absolutely in love with this one. But it's a nice variation from the mainstream BBW scents!

I used to hate this product so much. I thought it smelled like baby throw up everytime my mom wore it. I got the small travel sized spray for Christmas and I sprayed it on my wrist and I still hated it! I went on with my day, and I got a whiff of something that smelled so delicious! It was the dry down of the Carried Away! I sprayed it the next day and fell in love with the raspberry scent. I love Bath and Body Works sun ripened raspberry, and I don't think the scents are alike, but they have the same sweet raspberry notes. I just bought this in the body lotion and glitter spray yesterday and I can't get enough of it!

I really like the intial peach notes. I just wish it would last longer. I only get about 2 hours of fragrance. (sigh.) However, you get what you pay for. It was super cheap and for what it is I will definietly pick up another bottle.

Yum! Carried Away is such a sweet, fresh scent. I don't get the raspberry note everyone's talking about, but it kinda reminds me of BBW Sweet Pea without being overpowering. The only thing I don't like is that Carried Away only lasts about two hours on me.

I smelled this product when it first came out and I wasn't crazy about it. However, I have smelled it on 3 seperate occasions since then and I really love it. It's so girly and fruity, I especially love the hint of raspberry in it. It's such a clean scent. I've always loved Sea Island Cotton which reminds me of fresh laundy, but this is something very fruity and I love it!! The packaging is also really pretty. I will definately repurchase this.

This is one of my favorite bbw scents. Its a light clean floral, fruity scent(rasberry) scent. The rasberry note sticks out more on this to me than anything else. I also get a hint of clean laundry/a soapy scent from it.

I owned sweet pea in the past and I dont think these smell anything alike. Carried away is not as sweet or strong as sweet pea. Sweet pea is very sweet, and carried away leans more toward the berry fruit side.

My only gripe is the perfume doesnt last any longer than the body mist and has the same smell intensity. The packaging is really pretty.
