This perfume smells like sugar cookies with a hint of lavender & vanilla. I like wearing it all year long. I apply by spraying the perfume in the air, then walking through it. When I want a full-bodied scent I spray it directly on the insides of my wrists and rub on my neck and body. The bottle is adorable; a purple star accented by 2 rhinestone hearts in the upper right corner. The perfume bottle is stored upside down allowing the star to remain upright. Its dual use as a perfume & sink decoration ;)
Minus 1 star because it sometimes gives me a headache.

Victoria’s Secret LIFE IS PINK: SHINE PINK is an easy to wear fragrance, that I think can be worn all year round, day or night.


It's a fairly simple fragrance; The key notes of peach and tiare flower are the only two notes that stand out in this fruity/floral, so if you're looking for a statement fragrance this won't be for you. But if you're migraine prone like me and/or work in close contact with others [e.g. nurse] this is ideal.


Overall; An easy to wear, all year round scent with good staying power (although close to the skin), at a reasonable price and comes in a gorgeous bottle.

I ordered this perfume from VS during their annual sale a month ago. First time I sprayed it, I fell in love and I was actually thinking about ordering a couple more for my sister and for myself as an extra! Well... about 20 minutes or so later, I started to get a really bad headache and the more I smell the perfume on my arm, the worse my headache got :( I washed it off and suddenly I felt better! A lot of perfumes don't bother me but somehow this one does and I'm thinking it's the tiara flower that doesn't agree with me. Sadly, I'll be returning this...

I like the sweet smell. It smells like a summer day. And in Jan in Rhode Island I could use a summer day. lol I also picked up the lotion to layer the smell so it will last longer.
