Okay, needless to say. We all know that this item is no longer in store and it's quite hard to find. I actually found a listing on the internet for this and bought it. I'm soooooo happy with my purchase. It wasnt even a crazy ridiculous price. It was $13. There still are some of these around, you just have to look hard.

This lipstick/lipgloss obviously isnt an everyday thing, you can wear it once in a while. It does last a while for me, thank god! And if you're going to buy this item I think you do have to wear it correctly. You cant just throw on ANYTHING and wear it.

This would go good with Black/White tops. Or maybe even a denim jacket, or a blazer. Blue tops and Blue lipsticks would be too matchy , well at least I think that. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anybody who likes to switch things up.

I love this line of lipglosses, they all last longer than other lines I've tried on. The thing with this specific color is, and although these lipglosses are opaque, you have to reapply it a lot and sometimes it won't settle evenly on your lips, specially if they are dry. (that unfortunately is a quite often problem of mine).

Anyways I apply a primer first, so it lasts at least a little longer, and I keep it in my purse so I can reapply when necessary. I love the color and think it's great, but it sometimes makes me look a bit like a dead corpse, although I still fancy the idea ahah. I am thinking about doing a drowning look makeup and this may be the perfect lipgloss.

If anything else, the color is bold and it stands out a lot.

It's easy to find sensible looking lip colors. But something a little unusual isn't always easy to find in a quality product. MAC Kissable Lipcolours -- not permanent, but periodically re-promoted -- are a quality product, and Peacocky is medium teal, not at all a common color.
.
Kissable Lipcolours are said to be a liquid lipstick rather than a lip gloss. They are opaque (at least all i have purchased or tested), somewhat glossy, and give good coverage. They last longer than most glosses, although not as long as a many regular lipsticks. Dark or unusual colors may need more frequent reapplication because wear is more noticeable with them than more neutral, "natural", or commonplace colors. They have the typical MAC vanilla scent -- i could live without it, but the scent is light and at least there is no flavor.
.
Peacocky is probably not a "safe for work" color for most jobs. But it's interesting with the right outfit. I like giving Peacocky a bit of flash by combining it with MAC Summer Shower glaze lipstick - which is sheer aqua with an iridescent Dazzle finish, from the spring 2011 Fashionflower collection. It can also more practically be used to tone down bright red or orange lipstick colors.

Like a lot of people, I only bought this because it's a bit different, being blue. I quite like the Kissable Lip Colours in general, but this one doesn't seem to have the same even coverage and staying power as the other shades I bought (Woo Me, Flaunting It and Love Peck). It's not the most wearable shade, obviously, but it does look rather good over a deep purpleish lip liner like Nightmoth or Velvetella. I've also heard of people getting a nice effect by mixing it with pink pigments, although I haven't tried this myself. Overall, I probably wouldn't repurchase but I'll have some fun with it while it lasts.

Peacocky Kissable Lipcolor is an opaque blue with very subtle pink shimmers. I purchased this because it is so unique. Even though it's blue it is wearable. For work (I work in an office) I apply a lip balm underneath and then apply Peacocky very lightly so that it doesn't look blue, it just looks dark. To tone it down a bit, I use Rimmel Vinyl Gloss in Rhythm (light pink with silver). A little goes a long way with this. Brown girls, please give it a try if you're looking to try something a little different :-)

I gave this a 3 simply because of the unique color. Otherwise it would have rated lower.

This smells divine, and is pigmented. The only problem is the formula --- it has zero staying power. I was disappointed, because I was so excited about the color that I got this the day the collection was released. For something so expensive, and given the impressive staying power of MAC lipsticks, I was expecting something that wore better. After a glass of water, the inside part of my lips was completely bare.

Please, MAC --- release an actual lipstick in this shade! Amplified Creme Peacocky would be a dream come true.

Let me first say that I am not one of the lucky girls that can put on any lipgloss and be fine. My lips usually break out into a rash within a few days. This includes, blistex, chapstick, carmex, MAC lipglass/slimshines/plushglass/lustreglass...you name it. The only lipglosses (from MAC) I have been able to wear are their cremesheen glosses, dazzlecremes (some) and now the kissable lipcolours. Needless to say I was excited about that alone. Also, I prefer the look of lipsticks with gloss to just gloss so these definitely fit the bill on this without being so shiny it's inappropriate for work. I bought the kissable lipcolours in Super, So Vain, and Flaunting it and I love them all. I am mostly into neutral lip colors (though I do own some brights) and my favorite for neutral of the collection for me was Super.

These lipcolorrs are not sticky and my boyfriend actually kissed me with these on (something he would never do with any of the others). To me they're everything I wanted them to be and everything they claimed to be.

I was worried that they felt a little drying after application like the longwear lipsticks were but that wasn't the case (my lips were just dry from wiping off my previous lipstick).

I only bought this because it is blue. I'm not much of a fan of MAC anymore and certainly not a fan of "lip gloss"....even though I think they consider this a liquid lipstick. I just don't think its practical to spend $18 on a novelty item that realistically you have to throw out within 6-12 months.
Anyway, this is blue and pretty opaque. It really is the same color as depicted online, where I purchased it (they had free shipping and I also didn't want to deal with the pushy SAs at my local counter). It wears pretty well but you do have to reapply after eating/drinking and periodically during the day.
I don't know why they made a blue, especially since MAC doesn't push the envelope even though they like to think they do. I suppose you can mix the blue with another shade for a custom effect.
Over all, this is nice if you like lip glosses...or blue lip color that isn't cheap and from Hot Topic. I don't think I would repurchase, though. Novel concept, but they should have made all of these as lipsticks.
