I hate to be a spoil sport, but this did absolutely nothing for my fine, short hair. After I would blow dry, I would have some volume, but by the time I left the house for work, I had ugly, flat hair with ZERO hold. I gave it a whirl, but ultimately, this ended up in the trash. I

I have thick stubborn waist length hair that gets oily very quickly and has no volume to it whatsoever. i've tried so many products that claim to lift roots and all that but none has worked as well as this! i just use a palm full of this product in wet -just out of the shower hair and blow it dry upside down. my hair usually gets really oily by the next day and goes all flat and ugly but after using this, and wearing a cap all day (because i work at a place that requires you to wear a cap), i just fluffed/messed up my hair when i got home and it still had alot of volume in it and my usually greasy hair did not show through at all. The bottle said its for fine hair but this works on my thick stubborn hair so i will definitely buy it again if i ever finish using it (i don't normally use hair products very often)

I've been using this to curl my long/thick/wavy/dry hair. I spray a leave-in treatment in my hair to strengthen and detangle and sometimes follow with a leave-in cream conditioner as well; and then comes this mousse. I've long/thick/wavy hair so I use quite a lot of product. I run the mousse through my wet hair (not damp, otherwise it "holds" and I can't work with it anymore); flip my hair up/down/side to create volume and then suddenly flip up and twist all my hair up and clip in place. I go and have a tea or whatever. And then take the hair down and blow dry (no tousling). I'm left with natural looking curls with lots of body. I follow with a bit of shine serum and...voila, done! Anyway...I included all of that because often how you use a product makes the difference. So that's what I do. :) And I'm left with a natural curled look. Oohh, and no flakes! And to reactivate the mousse add water. Will repurchase and recommend.

I really love this mousse. I have med. long, straight, VERY fine/thinning/limp hair and this gives it lots of body and softness. I read about it in Don't Go Shopping for Hair-care Products Without Me and wasn't disappointed. The smell isn't bad at all as I hate overly strong scents. I use a fair amount, unlike the other reviewers, more like a whole handful and it's not stiff or too heavy. A keeper!

I have long semi-wavy, semi-straight hair. this stuff makes my hair have truely AMAZING waves. After i take a shower, i add a little over a quarter-size amount of this or any pantene mousse (too much weighs your hair down) and the same amount of Garnier Frutise curl construct mousse. i scrunch it a little bit and then throw it up on top of my head in a messy bun. i either sleep on it or just have it in my hair for about 30 minutes .. (sleeping on it gives it a sexed up look) then i blast it with the blow dryer for about 3-5 minutes (while its still in its messy bun) then take it down. if you want, spray a little bit of Pantene volumizing hair spray, it actully leaves hair soft and not hard or sticky. But if you dont use it, your hair will still look amazing. ive gotten sooo many compliments how soft and beautiful my hair looks with this stuff. its seriously amazing.

Gives me nice volume and helps to hold curl. I have mid back layered straight hair that tends to look flat. I put a handful of this in, blow dry upside down, and then curl with a good/v.hot curling iron. This all gives me great hair! Like Victoria's Secret model hair!! yay!! :) On the back it says it protects against heat styling, so that's a plus. I am SO gonna buy this again.
UPDATE: Be sure to not use too much of this mousse. Your hair will end up looking coated, dry, and white. I still love this, but I just can't go nuts with it.

Gives pretty nice body, but no miracles, just smooth, thicker and more bodified looking hair, not bad!

this one irritates my scalp!!!

I started to see flakes, feel itchy at scalp when started using this product. At the beginning, I didn't reallize it's the cause, so continue using it. Until an afternoon a month later, I played with my hair and saw flakes like snowing! Horrible! Also noticed my jacket had seen flakes very often lately (never happened before), and my scalp became so oily, and itchy all the time. I decided to stop the mossee for a while.

My scalp resumes normal in a week or so. I tried start using this mossee again to see if it is the blame. Yes, itching started within 24 hours!

Be aware!

I really love this stuff! I have medium/longish staight hair and I use it every morning to give my hair a little more body and volume. Don't expect miracles out of this stuff, but if you're looking to give your hair a little lift, this really works and is a great value!

My hair is easier to style, is more piecy, and has more body when I use this mousse. I prefer mousse to gel b/c I like styling hold & body without shine. I would repurchase this product, although it should be a long time before I run out.

I've used about 5 different types of mousse and this is by far the best. I have ALWAYS had trouble keeping a couple hairs of my hair straight all day long, especially in the humid weather of Florida. And although my hair is naturally fairly straight, in 3 hours I already have kinks in the front. But since using this those kinks never appear from the time I blowdry at 6 in the morning to the time I hit the pillow at 11 PM. And there's an added bonus of the formula reactivated once it gets wet. So I can pull my hair into a quick ponytail, wet the front, and everything stays in place all day long. I'd definately recommend it.

I was not impressed with this mousse. I thought it would add more body to my fine hair. It did leave it shiny but didn't add much, if any, volume. I didn't care for the scent either. I thought it would smell like the current shampoo and conditioner but it didn't. This smelled like the old Pantene shampoo/conditioner from years ago. I will use the rest of this but I am going to try something else when I run out.

I have limp hair that has no body at all. The first few times I used Body Builder Mousse, it worked okay, but it wasn't a dramatic improvement. The smell is okay, but when I took a shower, my hair went all slimy and the smell stayed in my hair. Now it's been about a week since I first used it, and my hair is very unmanageable. At first I thought it was my shampoo, but it's not. Now, no matter how much conditioner I use, I have to yank my hair brush through my hair and hair gets all over the place. My hair is dried out and destroyed. I don't think I would buy this again.

This gave me some body, but it didn't last. By midday, my hair was flat and felt heavy/greasy.

This came free with my Daily Moisture Shampoo, so I have been testing it out this past week on my long curls. I usually use L'Oreal Studioline Springing Curls, but this stuff is very good as well. No stiff stickiness, bouncy curls, and a fabulous smell!
