LOVE LOVE LOVE Dalliance. I always used Maui Wowie by Urban Decay but didn't like the glitter fallout. I felt like I was always wasting product.
With Dalliance, i don't have to worry about tapping off product or fallout. I always use this with black tied and I love the look I get. I kind of want a back up of this since its LE, but at the same time, I feel like its going to take a while before I hit pan.

I was iffy about this because of the price. Although it's basically two times as much product as the regular MAC e/s. I had to order it online because my local counter was sold out so it came out to $26.. eek!! The color is very versatile. Its a gorgeous pewter shade that I combine with taupe all day long. I haven't made a dip (yet) but do see myself using this pretty often. It's quite shimmery. The formulation is great, very smooth.

This was my absolute favorite color from the Peacocky collection. It is a frosty cool toned pewter shade. I love this on the middle third of the lid. This color is such a great neutral that goes with so many other colors like purples, greens, blues, taupes/browns. The color combinations with this one shade is endless because it is such a great cool-toned neutral.

I love this eyeshadow. It goes on very well and is easy to blend out. The only negative thing is the fact it wont fit in my Mac palette.

Dalliance and Prance are really the standouts of the Peacocky collection. So far I've been giving more love to Prance but today, I did a bronzey eye look with Dalliance and fell in love. Love the texture of these mega metals and just how easy it goes on. And the beautiful sheen after I blend it all in makes me want to go out of my way everytime I see a mirror to look into it.
I put wouldn't buy this product because the pot is just enormous and will likely last forever. It's really expensive too - one costs more than a Chanel single eyeshadow here. Also don't like that it won't fit into my mac palettes, so I can't depot these.

Count me as one of the lucky ones on whom this shadow looks good! I was a bit concerned that Dalliance was a lot like Patina but I looked at them side by side and Patina, to my surprise, is much darker. Whoever said that Dalliance is very close to UD's Maui Wowie without the glitter to contend with is quite right.
Next to Patina at the MAC counter, Dalliance looked very green-toned and very much like a big ol' pan of Vex. But when I put this on my eyes, I could tell it was very different from Vex - much more golden and glowy (not shiny or frosty but a pretty, almost illuminated glow-from-within) and it has much better pigmentation than Vex. And it makes my eyes look so bright and awake. I like this very much with Centre Stage in the crease and outer corner and Dalliance on the inner 2/3 of the lid (which is what I'm wearing today) and it looks incredibly nice and blends seamlessly with Ego (also from the same collection). It's also great with Mulch and with several colours from the UD Naked palette, but this is a shadow that would look good paired with just about any shadows you have, from neutrals to more colourful shades. It would even look great paired with some shades of blue though I think you might have to be careful if you wanted to use this with purples (it can look terrific, depending on the colour).
These Mega Metal shadows offer really good value for money - a HUGE pan of shadow for only a few dollars more than a regular MAC eye shadow. And I can honestly see myself reaching for this almost every day and especially if I'm in a hurry. While it's not quite up there with my favourite Prepped for Glamour, it's close! It this is still available where you are, you owe it to yourself to at least check it out. To be honest, I can't get enough of the Mega Metal shadows - I think they're one of the best finishes since Starflash or maybe even better! Centre Stage was my first purchase from the Mega Metal collection and I love it but I couldn't quite understand the "Mega Metal" description because CS is not at all shiny or metallic. The same applies to Ego. But WOW - you can really see the "mega metal" in Dalliance! I guess this is a trait that is more visible in the lighter shades.

Sorry , but this just didnt work for me, the s/a at mac convinced me ,said it was the best colour in the collection , but on my eyelid it seems to shimmery , maybe these eyeshadows arenīt suitable for the over 40īs like me . .ouch !! I also purchased Tweet me , which is ok for a day look if you use with light hand. My advice is try these e/s on your eyes at mac, not the back of your hand, it makes all the difference.

I love love love this e/s - in fact all of the Peacocky shadows are great. Dalliance is probably the most unique one in colour and goes on so smooth and creamy on the eyelid. I've only worn it a few times so far - always with Coquette in the crease and Espresso in the outer V. I can't wait to try other combinations though. A must have for any Mac fan!

This is the only product from the MAC Peacocky collection that I bought. I thought the collection was very pretty (with the exception of the blue lipgloss), but this was the only product /color that really "called" to me, and I didn't have anything that looked similiar. Very pigmented, and so pretty on brown eyes. I received 3 compliments the first day I wore this color. I appreciate that it's larger than other MAC eyeshadows, but the price is rather steep and that is why i only gave it 4 lippies. I would buy again though.

I fell in LOVE!!..Dalliance is a more greenish champagne color (if that makes any sense)...and It is highly pigmented. It goes on SUPER smooth and the size is quite big which is NICE!! The quality compared to some of the other colors from the Peacock collection is quite noticeable..(I swatched them in the store). To Compliment and try a smoky look I also bought Embark from the regular collection and the colors look so GOOD together!!! I am SUPER excited about Dalliance, the color is soft enough to use it alone in the day or to glam it up at night!!! I def RECOMMEND!!!

I love this eyeshadow! It is honestly the only shadow I that I have ever used just alone on the lid that stands out the way it does. It is a super unique pewter color that shows up kind of green against my brown skin tone. I have enough eyeshadows, but after I tried this on in the store I had to buy it. Im actually glad that it is a larger size because I am probably going to be reaching for it day and night and its comforting to know I will not need to repurchase anytime soon! LOVE DALLIANCE!

Its a really beautiful color! Its somewhat similar to Vex, but its much more on the golden side and is quite frosty. Its the standout shade from the collection imo. Its a really nice neutral with a bit of a POP, but at times, I feel like its a bit too frosty for an everyday(thats why I took one lippie off). I can't really compare this to Vex because it is actually quite different, but I really love both eyeshadows. Would buy again, but it would take me years to finish this pan xP.

Oh how I wanted to love this gorgeous chrome-with-a-touch-of-green color!!! It has a creamy texture and is super pigmented. However, in spite of the claims for creaselessness, I found this super frosty shadow to crease and fade on me even over my best primer. It also sometimes cause irritation to my eyes, which other MAC shadows do not do. Perhaps it's the mica in the metallic finish?? I don't know. I was going to exchange it for Unflappable, but then I rediscovered a dupe in my stash. If I use my BE chocolate fondue wet, I get the same smokey purple/brown/gray as unflappable!! Oh well, i guess I'll wait for the next collection.

Dalliance is from MAC's Peacocky collection. It's a pale champagne golden color with high shimmer and buttery consistency. This color looks great on anyone because it is so neutral. Besides being an eyeshadow, I've used it as a brow and tear duct highligher and face highlighter. They are $20 an eyeshadow but they are 2 1/2 times the size of a regular MAC shadow. Can't beat it! I wish they were permanant!

This is a nice pewter color, although I don't know how flattering it looks on me. It looks nice but not OMG nice... I wouldn't buy it again because it's huge and I don't think I'll ran of it any time soon...

Apparently this color does not flatter me the way it does others who have written reviews for it. This is the second of this line of shadows I have purchased and while I like the other, cranberry-like, color ... this one comes across very pale and not very attractive to my brown eyes. I love Vex, but find this color different in texture and sheen - don't think I will buy any more of these colors - none of them are distinctive enough for the cost in my opinion. Invest in some of MAC's basics if you don't have them!

I love this color. I am surprised that there isn't more hype with it. It is a light gold, silver, pewter, prettiness. It is very pigmented and smooth. It is not a highlight color. This is one of my favorite e/s buys in a while.

I wish I could give this 4.5 lippies. I think with my skin tone, it isn't the most amazing color on me (I feel like all you see is shimmer), but I still love it. Goes better as a highlight or lid color on me (instead of Prance) when I'm wearing warmer colors. It's a really beautiful color and very unique. I will definitely use this up, but I don't think I'd buy again just because it isn't the most flattering color for me. Prance is much better for me.
