Sparkle-icious from the Burlesque collection is one of two glitter polishes from the collection I was lemming for.
Upon applying this polish I was totally disappointed. The application is a nightmare. With bald spots galore. I had two coats on one finger, three on another four on.... well you get the point. Also it just did not have the fire that so many other OPI polishes I own do.( An example is Absolutely Alice from AIW collection.)
In the bottle the chunky glitter pink, gold and blue glitter creates a sort of purplish, pewter hue. It wore pretty well on my toes, and I didn't have a hard time removing it considering the glitter.
The problems, IMO with Sparkle-icous is the large size of the glitter, and the clear base.. AbAlice has smaller yet still substantial glitter in a blue base. AbAlice dazzles. Sparkle just kind of lays there. Hate to say this but just skip it.

All I can say is Wow! Viva sparkle! I fell in love with this color at Ulta this past holiday season and I love to use this color on my toes. Especially in the summertime when the sunshine can really make the sparkles stand out. I think it has the regular OPI quality that is to be expected. No chipping or peeling. I do think that is it hard to remove because of all of the big sparkles in it. I sometimes have to use a nail buffer to get the remainder of it off. It also feels a little abrasive because of all of the big glitter chunks, but I do find using a good top coat will eliminate that. Overall I love it. It is one of my HG colors and I wish I could purchase this again.....but this was part of the Burlesque collection that was limited edition.

I think this nail polish is absolutely beautiful! Quite a high compliment coming from a woman who rarely wears glitter (ok, at Christmas time I'll do the garnet glittery polish). I didn't purchase the polish, but had it applied during a pedicure- so I can't say if the price of a bottle is "worth it". I had it applied to base coat alone, not layered over a color. So pretty! Very multi-dimensional - three coats of polish give such depth. You could get lost looking into your nails! The smaller glitter and the limit of three colors keep it from looking too garish. It's sparkly and feminine without knocking people over the head, so to speak. I never thought I'd find a subtle glitter, but this is close to amazing. I didn't give a full five stars, however, because it would have to be life changing for the full monty. ;)

So this is a bottle o sparkle! Large-ish chunks of pink, gold, and blue glitter floating around in an explosion of fun lol
Very poor payout, but it's glitter, not microglitter, so I'm not surprised. Wouldn't buy it again because I don't think I'll ever need to

Pretty Polish - I wore it for New Years over a dark Blue base. Pretty! hard to remove but thats not that odd for glitter.

I didn't think it peeled that fast, just the normal for a strong glitter. However, I though it would be less sheer. You need 3 or 4 coats to cover the whole nail. I also thought the pink glitter would be more visible, but not, the polish calls less attention than I thought it would.

Wouldn't buy it again because I have so many glitters, and more are always being released.

Although it does chip very quickly (about 2 days, 3 if you're lucky) the color is so beautiful that it is worth it.

Looks like it would be an amazing glitter polish but the quality is horrid! I used a base coat, three very thin layers and two top coats. less than 24 hrs later it was peeling off and chipping!
I found the China Glaze glitters from the '10 holiday collection to be MUCH better quality!

Still a gorgeous color, but plan on only wearing it for a day or so.
