I was on a long search for an all natural foundation (hard to find in Canada). Once I found this foundation I spent a lot of time researching it, I know there is only two reviews on here but try searching on google and youtube. So I decided to give this foundation a try and purchased off Saffron Rouge, with shipping I spent about $57 dollars but I figured it was worth it because it was natural. I got the colour pure sand and was really worried about it being too dark but it was perfect. I was a little scared when I saw the colour on my hand but it blended well. I am a fair skinned person who does burn but the burn turns into a tan, however I wouldn't call myself pasty/pale just light skinned with yellow undertones. I was not impressed the first week as it was globbing up with my concealer and just making my skin look awful. I realized that not using a foundation brush helped this issue and using a mineral mist spray/water helped a lot. I have a lot of acne scars and this covered them up fairly well with the help of my eccobella concealer (amazing concealer). I was very happy that I finally found a natural foundation that make my skin look great and did not break my cystic acne skin out. Unfortunately, I did not realize how bad talc is for you and this product does have it in there. I read online that talc is related to asbestos so I did not want to take any chances and decided not to reorder this product despite its good and long lasting coverage. I will be switching to 100% pure natural foundation. It is a lot cheaper, got better reviews, and has much purer ingredients that I don't have to doubt their safety.

I love this product! I've been looking for a good natural foundation for a long time and I stumbled across this one by accident about a month ago.
I found it provided the perfect amount of coverage for my fairly clear skin, but it may be a bit too light for quite blemished skin. It has light, silky texture that is not at all heavy or artificial. I found that it lasted well all day. Best of all, it's 100% safe and natural, which means good for the environment and good for your skin. Check out the information on their website.
The only downside is that the colour range is not that great and it can be difficult to tell which one is to select based on the information on the website. I'd recommend using samples first if you can. Pure Taupe works for my light, fairly neutral skin tone.
The packaging is BPA free and meets the highest EU environmental standards. It bothers me a little that it has a lock top instead of a lid, but I haven't had any problems with spillage so far.
I heartily recommend this product and I'll certainly be trying more from the Living Nature range.

In my search for a natural/organic foundation, I came across the Living Nature brand. I read fairly positive reviews of their foundation, so I thought I would give it a try! I have very fair skin with a yellow undertone, so I was advised to purchase this in: "Pure Sand". Unfortunately, even though this was the lightest color for yellow undertones, I found it still too dark for my skin. It applied very smoothly, but did NOT give good coverage at all. I have a decent amount of acne and acne scars, and everything was still visible after application. Additionally, my skin became more greasy than usual throughout the day. I would recommend this product for those looking for a light coverage foundation with more dry skin. Definitely purchase a sample first-- I was SO grateful holisticbeauty.net carried samples of this foundation! :)
***After trying countless natural/organic foundations, I have FINALLY concluded that Gabriel Cosmetics works the best for me. The combination of their Liquid Foundation and Dual Powder gives wonderful coverage without causing greasiness or breakouts!*** :)
EDIT: 10/10/12: After trying Kat Von D's new Lock-It Tattoo Foundation, I am in love!!!! PHENOMENAL coverage without oxidation/greasiness. See my review on this for more details, if you're interested. Not super natural, but at least the formulation is without parabens, mineral oil, fragrance, etc. :)
Hope this review helps!
