When put on foundation it made my skin look matte but I didn't notice whether it fixed my makeup. I used brush instead of the given pad because it would wipe all my foundation and covered spots off.
It was okay but no miracles were made..

this powder is just average. i picked it up in the shade 'classic ivory' (120) on sale and thought i'd give it a shot, as i've got the maybelline fit me concealer and was pretty pleased with that. seeing as i didn't have any expectations, i wasn't disappointed.first of all, i was super pleased to find out that there's a little mirror underneath the powder! super handy, especially for travelling. it also comes with a powder puff but it's pretty useless. i wasn't super pleased to notice that there's a shimmer in the product that becomes reeeeeeaaaally obvious when i'm standing in the sun. like, really shimmery. think edward cullen in the twilight movies type shimmer. anyway, the colour suits my fair complexion perfectly and isn't yellowy like a lot of lower end face products.something that strikes me is that i personally find the product quite difficult to pick up on my brush???? i use a sephora complexion kabuki (#47) which has NEVER let me down, even with pressed powders, but i feel this product is so sheer it takes about 3 or 4 applications to see an actual result. my skin is pretty oil free except around the nose, so i was hoping this powder would make the area a little more matte and it did a little bit but not much. if you have oily skin, this product won't be for you.so basically, this powder is ok if you're after something super subtle and your skin is pretty problem-free. and if you like shimmering. if you're after a product like this but want something with more coverage and less glitter, try the maybelline matte maker mattifying powder - i am in love with it at the moment!pros:- good skin tone match- handy lil mirror- pretty good value for moneycons:- too sheer for my liking and doesn't apply easily- waaaaaaay more shimmer that necessary- dumb powder puff

This powder is strange: it sets and mattifies (but not great) but adds absolutely no coverage on me. However, after setting it will 'cake' in the pan and I will have to scrub the caked up powder. I only get that with this powder and the Physician's Formula, I'm thinking as they're both very pressed and the foundation I use are still 'wet' when I set them. My bad but I'm used to speedy application and it doesn't happen to other powders, lol. The reason for my rating is that it doesn't compare to other powders that do a much better job with mattifying, setting and covering. This just does so little. The only pro is that it lasts for a while because little product comes off. Then again, it just takes longer to rub the brush over it to get product..

I used this powder for years without foundation and it worked well for me most days. The only negative thing I have to say about this powder is the applicator pad that comes with it is absolutely ridiculous.

I seriously had the feeling with this product that the color fitted me so much that it didn't even show...i mean it didn't do anything, it definitely didn't have any coverage and it definitely didn't help me set my make up...it seems to me that it is useless and a waste of money.

The price on this product is very reasonable, and I mostly like it for that reason. I really enjoyed using it at first with the Fit Me foundation, but found that over time it became greasy and oily on the surface of the powder even though I use clean brushes and my skin is normal to dry. I think this is a good product for beginners and it pairs well with the foundation.

The Kmart near me was going out of business and just about all the makeup aisles had been raided. I found the fit me press powder in the way back of the shelf untouched. Looking at the shade I realized it was about the same as my fit me foundation and would work great to keep it from wiping off. I love the soft velvety feel of the the powder. I always wear it after I put my foundation on and never alone because when I do it extenuates my pores and make any small pimples stand out to much. My only negative thing to say is that the brush/ cotton that comes with it is nothing but a waste. Use your own brush cause it isn't good

As a girl with fairly good skin and relatively few major acne flare-ups, I don't wear much in the way of face makeup. I don't like foundation or anything too heavy, and I don't have a need for heavy coverage. After applying BB cream and a light concealer over dark circles and a few minor blemishes, I use a face brush (not the pad applicator it comes with) to lightly put the powder on. I previously used Elf's pressed powder, but when I went to repurchase that, they were out of my shade. So I decided to spend a little more and buy this one, as I've heard good things on YouTube about it. I had absolutely zero idea which shade to buy, and in retrospect, I would've gone a shade or two darker; but I bought the 225 Medium Buff shade. Up close when I'm applying it, I can tell it's a little bit light for my skin tone, but it's not noticeable if I lean back from the mirror. (And that's my error either way. It has nothing to do with the actual product.) The packaging is really nice, and I like that it comes with a mirror in the compact. It comes with a circular powder puff pad thing (no idea what they're called), but using that made my makeup look cakey. I switched to a brush, though, and that makes it look very light and natural. The powder is loose and light, but not light enough to just blow off or not stick to my face. Some powders have a weird odor to me, but this one doesn't really smell like anything odd. Since I don't need a lot of serious cover-up, I don't notice too much if it comes off. It will rub off a little if I wipe my sleeve over it, but most powders do that. It doesn't totally mattify all day, and my nose (as usual) tends to get shiny, but a quick re-dab does the trick. I haven't tried a ton of powders, but I really like how lightweight this one is, and since I don't need a lot of coverage, it works well for me. If you're looking for a heavier coverage, though, this might end up cakey. I'll definitely repurchase this!

Meh - didn't do much for me at all either as a foundation or as a touch-up powder.
