I was almost relieved to read (a few) other reviewers here saying this product made them break out, as I was beginning to wonder if I was suddenly getting adolescent acne in my 50s! I loved this product for its ease of use, and I thought it made my skin look okay, so I was happily settling into using it when I started to get the most hideous and embarrassing zits (always, of course, when I had a party or a function to go to). At first I thought I was using too much night cream, or that it was my Ella Bache serum, or that I was eating too much sugar -- but stopping all those things didn't help. Finally it hit me that it had to be my Miracle Skin Transformer. It certainly did transform my skin, but in the wrong direction. But since I gather that most people don't experience this problem, I am giving it 3 lippies, since I did think it gave decent coverage and looked all right, despite the rather peculiar slimy texture.
P.S. I just realized that I wrote this review in the wrong place -- it was the MST with SPF 20 I was using.

I tried this a few times and just did nothing, absolutely NOTHING for my skin. Thinking I was doing something wrong, I tried applying it every which way I could think of but there simply was ZERO things "miraculous" about this veryyy expensive tube that I could see. In fact, it broke me out on my chin and near my nose (and acne/zits/etc have never been something I've needed to worry about, so it was weird and frustrating).
At nearly $50 this wasn't worth any of it, IMHO, so I ended up returning it to Sephora as is for a nice chunk of store credit w/out a problem! Thank god their return policy is so forgiving. If it had cost, oh let's say $10-$`12.00 I wouldn't be so disappointed, but when something costs upwards of $50 USD I expect that product to work! Or at the very least give me results other than a chin break out.
Won't buy again, obviously. And I'd never recommend it to a friend either :)

I do have pretty good skin, remarkably, and it's not very oily, so I'm using this as a foundation-ish evening-out thing without anything on top of it but concealer where I need it. I'm using Medium Tan, which is a very good match for my skin coloring (nc37). I'm not used to primers, so I'm really not liking the feel of this when I first apply it - feels so thick and non-breathable. After I rub on it a bit, that feeling goes away.
I haven't tried layering the product because I don't actively try to build up coverage that actually *hides* any skin imperfections, because I sense this stuff can't. But what it does do is allow me to trick the eye in full sunlight -- it gives me a poreless look, and blends my skintone together without being noticeable at all. Like, at ALL. This has become my day-to-day "foundation" because I can get as close to anyone as I like, and all you see is very good skin. Like the equivalent of a Pilgrim's clothing - looks plain, but it's actually fine stuff, on closer inspection. That's the look my skin gets with this; just finely spun and... effortlessly younger. I've worn this successfully (not in any great heat) for about 5 hours and garnered 3 compliments about my face and one person asked me out, and was surprised when he found out how old I was (he was younger than me, and figured me to be even younger than that! Nice.)
And really, as I get up in age and become all Elizabeth Báthory, that's what I want, is to re-create the lily in an imperceptible, guileless way. In the evenings I will for sure wear something more substantial, like Dolce & Gabbana's Creamy or powder foundation or MUFE HD, but for those work days and days when I want the skin equivalent of admonishing someone's skin compliment with "what? This old thing?" I am so far reaching for this.
I was scared I'd get acne from it - seems so heavy at first! - but so far, so good.
I'll likely flit to something else over time, but my attention's captured with this stuff and I am enjoying it.
UPDATE: It's merely aight with more use. I get the same effect from wearing concealer under my eyes and nothing on the rest of my face. So this current method of nude skin is what I'm sticking with! I've stopped using this product - it feels heavy on.

I was beyond excited to try this after seeing it mentioned in several magazines as an amazing product. For me this fell so flat that I was surprised it has the high raves it does. This has a weird feeling to it. I smoothed it on like I would a primer. This did not really change the appearence of my skin and my makeup did not last any longer then if I had not been using this. I have acne that has its highs and lows of being bad and not too bad. I used this in both stages and no change of my skin. Would not use or purchase. Did not do anything to make it worth using it.

I just bought this last week so I am restraining from commitment on repurchase although I haven't yet ruled it out. The product was pricey but my skin was a mess from overusing Tazorac when I purchased it - a flaky, dry disaster. Well, it has now come back from the dead and is actually a shiny or dewy.
I have to reapply by mid-afternoon after using blotting paper to get the shine off my face. Translucent powder seems to help. I have terribly dry yet paradoxically acne prone skin. I've been told to moisturize more which might lower my oil production?
I used to use the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer - which this makes look like a bargain - but it wasn't moisturizing enough, particularly with the Tazorac. I'm hoping I can use this in conjunction with the Retin-A creams over the summer.
I also changed my evening moisturizer to Giovanni - fingers crossed this all helps with the worst of both worlds skin!

I went to my local Sephora to look around to see what was new. I was exchanging the BB cream from Clinique (it was way too light for my nc35 skin) when the SA pointed me to this product. I got a sample of the medium tan and it was perfect for me,, however, since it was new they had to be out of the that color. She said i could try tan and it would work well for me too. I bought it, reluctantly, but figured i would wear foundation on under it anyways so it wasn't such a big deal. The color, although it is a tad dark, i would have much rather had the medium tan. the performance: it's not a miracle worker, but a very, very good primer w/ good qualities and doesn't break me out. I will still be on the lookout for the medium tan.. I guess since Sephora is great about returns, if i see they have med tan in stock, i may just exchange it.

Ah, Miracle Skin Transformer (MST) what a pain in my butt you've been. I saw you advertised in a magazine and they touted you as the perfect product of the year. At that time, your maker was giving away samples which I promptly ordered. Months went by, and nothing. Saw you advertised again and went to your website and saw no samples being given out because of demand. Tried to order my color and no go--you were out. Found you finally at Dermadoctor and ordered so folks take note.
This TM is pretty good if you want an extremely natural look. It dries to look like natural matte skin. But sometimes so natural by evening there's nothing on my face. I hope the Spf 20 is working better for me all day but I've come to the realization I can't really count on it since color is gone so I think SPF is gone too. No sparkles in this.
It's pricey, and sometimes, product is hard to get out of the tube. I think it would work better in a pump.
I bought fair for my MAC NC 20 skintone and it's pretty close. Now as far as transforming, I say no but it hasn't made me breakout at all so benign. That's something at least.
