Comes with a pathetic brush. The texture is horrible - not "creamy". Need to apply several times before it becomes noticeable. Creases. Packaging is really cute though - but no reason to purchase it! Lol

I picked this up in Candlelight. At first I didn't like it because I didn't really blend it out much but once I figured out how to blend it out properly it was a beautiful color. It requires very good blending. As far as color pay off goes, it was pretty and lasted throughout the day. I didn't really notice any fading or creasing so overall I really liked it and would repurchse.

I was so disappointed with these cream shadows! I was surprised because I usually love e.l.f products, but this is a new product so hopefully they will improve the formula.
I tried two colors, Candlelight and Dawn. Both had awful color payoff and the Candlelight color went on extremely unevenly (it was sort of chunky on my eyelid).

These are kind of a hit or miss with me. I own them in two colors, Candlelight and Bronzed. I like Bronzed quite a bit, I use it as a base, on it's own, and even as an eyeliner. Candlelight however is a little "eh", you have to dig your finger into it to get any product (don't even try to use a brush, doesn't work at all), and when you put it on it's patchy and dry. If I'm willing to work a little bit I'll use it as a highlight on my brow bone or cheek bone, but most of the time it's just not worth the effort.

I recently ordered this in the shade Dawn and I looove it!! It's such a pretty colour firstly, it's so nice for every day wear. The texture is gorgeous too, it's really creamy and not dry at all! It goes on smooth and stays on all day (with a primer). I am really impressed by this product and there is nothing I dislike about it!

I love this cream shadow. I bought 5 colors when they have 50% sale - natural glow, dawn, pewta, purple, and blue.
natural glow is okay for me since it's a bit too shimmering, but I love dawn, pewta a lot, especially dawn. The color is amazing to use for the lid, no matter use it by itself or intensify with powdered eyeshadow afterward.
They don't crease, I don't know how that happens since almost all the cream shadows I have used so far crease on my eyelid but this one doesn't.... the color lasted the whole day as well.
I will buy this over and over again.

I have this in the shades Dawn and Candlelight, I haven't used the latter much because it has a really nasty plasticky scent but it is a pretty color. Dawn is much nicer, a warm bronzy color, I used it today and it didn't crease on me, even without a primer. It is significantly more dry than it was 7 months ago when I got it though so I don't think I'll be able to use it for much longer. These are much better than e.l.f.'s duo cream eyeshadows from the essential line but since these studio line ones are also more expensive I think they both deserve the same rating. It was nice trying them out but I wouldn't buy again.

I purchased these in natural glow, dawn, and bronzed and i love them. Surprisingly I picked them up at my 24 hour WalMart which i wasn't expecting them to have then there, they were $3. I use these as a base so i can't say how they work alone without a shadow on top. As a base they're amazing for $3 you really can't complain. The shades i got all seem to go on evenly and they don't seem to fade or crease which makes me a happy camper. If your in the market for a base i say to atlesst get one and try it they're worth the shot.

These really are the perfect drugstore-level cream shadows. This line offers truly beautiful shades and they last all day for me. However, I'm giving these a '4' instead of a 'five' for the following reasons:
1. They can be a bit dry which makes them hard to blend -particularly the shade in Candlelight. I've found that by mixing a little moisturizer (one w/o SPF) I can really change the texture of the product while retaining the pigmentation and shine. However, this is just one more step in my routine that I'd rather forego...leaving me disappointed that I couldn't work these into my daily routine.
2. There is more shimmer in them than I would have initially thought...it's not noticable in most swatches, videos, and the product description -but the sparkle is def in there. Even one of the more subdued shades 'Dawn' has quite a bit of glittery sparkle and I now hestitate to wear it to work. If these had a more Satin or Shimmery sheen to them, I would be much happier.
EDIT: The Maybelline Tattoo eyeshadows are so much better, but with very different shades and formulations. I just prefer these over the elf for a drugstore eyeshadow

I loveee the elf studio cream eyeshadow in the shade candlelight. It is a nice champagne nude shimmer color! I use this everyday and idk if its b/c i dont have a cream eyeshadow in this color or what! but i use it everyday over my MAC painterly paintpot which prevents creasing, i have not used it w/out an eyeshadow base and so idk how it is alone. I would definitely recommend this to anyine who doesnt have a lot of cream eyeshadows and wants to try them out for the 1st time!!! Tell me what you think:)

I have this product in the shades dawn and bronzed. I am really impressed by these cream eye shadows. Both cream eye shadows are easy to blend, but I like the texture of bronzed better. The colors are beautiful and they stay on all day! The only con is the packaging that is quite bulky.

These are gorgeous. I have every shade--including the new ones. They apply smoothly, blend beautifully and they are well pigmented--so much so infact that when I first used them, I had to start over. I was used to cream shadows being ridiculously sheer and on my first shot, I applied too much and ended up looking like I got punched in the eye. After I got the hang of it, though, I loved it! I apply it over the Almay concealer/eye base that I have and the color stays put and doesn't crease. The ONLY complaint about this stuff is the absurdly HUGE packaging--why such a giant block of plastic for this thing? After I got these, I had to buy a second make up case just to house them.

I have this in dawn, which is OKAY, and Eggplant and Candlelight, which are NO. Eggplant and Candlelight don't blend evenly, and the Eggplant goes on WWAAYYY too dark. Dawn is a pretty color, but it, like, clumps up when you put it on w/a finger. IDK how it'd work w/a brush, I always used my fingers.

I wanted to love this! Sadly it just doesn't work for me. Got in Candlelight and Dawn and it just goes on very uneven. I tried working with it but it was just too much work than it was worth :(

I love E.L.F. products and I bought this shadow from the Studio line hoping it would be a dupe for Benefit's Creaseless Cream Shadows, which I love. However, I purchased Candlelight and was very disappointed.
The formula is dryer than that of the Benefit formulas and did not go on smoothly. Instead, it was quite streaky and left large amounts unevenly across my lid. I had to work to blend it out properly and even then was not impressed with the sheerness of the product.
The packaging, as with all the Studio products, is streamlined and nice to look at, but the casing is quite bulky.
I don't think I would buy this product again, however, for $3 I might be tempted to try another shade, seeing as it worked so well for others.

OMG THEY'VE ADDED NEW SHADES! Including "Pewter" and "Smoke"! These will be the best buck and a half you'll ever spend on yourself (with a code). Too fabulous, large attractive jar, can't wait to try the above-mentioned shades; see my Review for Bronzed. Check out the new shades!

Ladies, get them. I got these half on with a code that you can surf around for. I bought all four shades. The lightest is a nice shimmery white. Bronzed is the darkest color, very pigmented. The eggplant is also a nice purplish, and so is Dawn very pretty neutral. They all are great. Get them all when you find a half off code. All worth the 1.50 I spent on each. The item is nicely packaged, but very bulky, but looks very nice. Just means a bigger makeup bag, but that is fine with me.

After a hot swelting day outside for a festival, this eyeshadow was the only thing left on my face, and it did not crease or budge!!! and I wore it without primer!! My eyeliner stayed because I used it over this cream eyeshadow. I wore colorstay foundation, powder, bronzer blush all gone, but this cream shadow remained. I have these in Dawn and Candlelight, I love both equally. On my NC40 skintone, dawn is very neutral color that matches my skintone. Unlike on ligther skinned gals, dawn would be a good medium shade, but on me its completely neutral. Candlelight is adorable, I hate white eyeshadow, on my skintone its looks obvious, but this is a ivory pearl color that is not obnoxiously bright. It is very longwearing as well, and today its 90 degrees. I own Benefit RSVP, and its starting to crumble perhaps the cap was not tight. I think these Elf eyeshadows are definitely more creamier and blends better than Benefits verison. And oh my god, I will have these for several months, I am amazing how much product you get for $3. I will update my review to let you know if these crumble too or not, but for now the product seems to glide on. I use my index finger to apply these rather than a flat brush because I get better control.

Fabulous! All the reviews thus far on these cream shadows are totally totally true!. I have this in Bronzed, a highly pigmented brown/bronze colour with slight shimmer (not glitter ....ewwww). I used this over my elf primer, it went on smoothly, blended beautifully, almost like a cream to powder finish. It did not settle into any lines, did not crease at all. I did use it as a base for my bronze shadow, but will try it on its own next time. It really and truly is a wonderful product. I will definitely be buying the other colours.
