The scent is heavenly, but that's about the only nice thing I can say about Orofluido. To me, it was thick, and didn't absorb very well into my hair, it just kind of sat on top. I did go into this purchase with the knowledge of previous reviewers complaints, but bought it anyways because of my hair being so dry. The silicones don't bother me, I need cones for my hair type ( fine, but coarse and naturally curly) but this seemed to be way more cones than necessary for a hair 'oil'. I also have Shu's oil, and cream oil as well as Kerastase Elixer both the original and the one for damaged hair and they are far superior to Orofluido.

This product is NOT for everyday use/every time you wash your hair! In the long run this product WILL dry your hair out! I do like the scent it gives to my hair so I use it to add shine after I've styled, but not everytime.. As mentioned before the silicone-like ingredients are not good for your hair. I've had my bottle for almost one year and more than half left, you need a VERY tiny amount on the ends of your hair. I purchased it for 29.99$ so for the price and the amount I do believe its quite inexpensive! I have very dry ends and I blow dry and curl my hair about every other day, so this product does wonders when I want a very sleek style, takes the frizz out and once again... smells AMAZE. Just be verrrrry sparing when applying this product and DO NOT USE AS A LEAVE IN!!! the website says thats what the product replaces, Im sure if anyone were to do this they wouldnt have any hair left.
Buy at own risk ♥ !

My hair has always been in a huge state of disrepair. Someone in my family permed it when I was FIVE, and didn't wash out the front enough so the front is always very dry and breaks easily. I swam in poorly chlorinated pools all through my youth and teens, I never brushed or treated my hair properly at ALL. I literally just wore it up in a bun ALL the time so I wouldn't have to brush it or fuss with it. It was only when I hit 17 or so that I began starting to try this and that to fix it. I've been through hundreds of dollars trying different shampoos (never listen to their claims of 'smoothing' or 'repairing'), conditioners and different products. The only products I've ever found that help the texture and at least allow me to brush through it were the Aussie brand. My hair was on it's way to at least being better textured through using their products, but manageability was still extremely low. I still had tons of frizz/fluff and it actually got worse the more my hair repaired itself - the previous coarse, dry texture at least let the hair be more weighed down. I'd given up all hope of any product actually helping - until December of last year.
I use a service called Birchbox that you pay for monthly and you get various sample sizes of new products - sometimes even full sized products. I got a tiny adorable sample of this, and was intrigued. I'd tried Morrocan Oil before, and loved it, but it soaked up WAY too easily and kind've just left my hair VERY shiny and oily feeling. It's good to put in my monthly repair masks I leave on overnight, but wearing out? Definitely not. So despite how skeptical I was, I tried it. I was AMAZED right off the bat at the smell. My god, it's amazing. It's this warm, vanilla amber musky smell. Not overwhelming musk, trust me I have extreme issues with harsh smells, this was JUST right. It smelled sensual, almost. And then the textured wowed me - it's silky, slightly dry feeling, and instantly softens my hair. I put half of the little .5oz sampler in my hair (which surprised me - I thought I'd need MUCH more) and it all soaked up but left my hair shiny and soft. Not to say there wasn't a slight residue - there will ALWAYS be in using oils. But it didn't make my hair look greasy like the others had. Unwashed, even.
Since then I've used it for everything. Detangling/curl shaping for wearing my hair natural and down, I even use it for straightening. Just be sure your hair has soaked most of it up first. I put it on right after a shower, let my hair naturally dry, and then straighten. It combats my problem of my hair getting VERY puffy when straightening - it looses ALL of it's moisture and just fluffs out. Actually, after straightening, the longer I go before washing, the more it helps the texture. I'll wait 2-3 days and after washing, I can actually run my fingers through my hair. No kinks. It's pretty unheard of for me.
Obviously every persons hair and hair types are different, so I can't say how any single person would enjoy this. This is my only hair indulgence, so that 29.99 I usually pay is worth it. For others who have plenty of products they trust/use and frequently buy, it may be a different story. All I know is it's worked for me, and I love it. For best results, use in conjunction with a truly hydrating Shampoo/Conditioner. I use Aussie Moist for both, though half the time I use Selsun Blue or any other Dandruff shampoo - they're VERY moisturizing and light.

I had such high hopes for this product. It looks great when you first apply it to the hair - nice and moisturizing. But 1-2 hours later, and it's dried my hair to a crisp. Completely dry and unnatractive. What a shame. Maybe this is from all the silicones they pack in here? Not sure. All I know is I won't be buying it again

Hands down the BEST hair serum/oil I have EVER used. I have very thick, bushy, frizzy, half wavy-half curly, armpit length hair. I got a sample of Orofluido in my Birchbox and it did not disappoint, after using a few times I ordered a full-size bottle! Totally worth it to me. Smell and texture are better than Morroccanoil IMO...it's somehow just lighter and less oily than Morroccanoil. Makes my hair feel silky and look shiny, but does not build up (I only wash my hair twice a week). I rub a dime-size amount between my palms and then pass them over my dry hair. Since I only have to use so little, the full size bottle will last me forever (I still am using the trial size, actually). Haven't tried it on damp hair yet, but that's my next venture!
I will throw every other serum oil I have away in the trash because this stuff is the BEST!

This product is nothing but silicone and a few small amounts of beneficial oils and then fragrance. The first three ingredients are Cyclopentasiloxane, Cyclotetrasiloxane and Dimethiconol which are straight up silicones. Yes, Orofluido (translation: gold fluid??) makes your hair feel good... at first... but in the long run it's drying out your hair. If you want beneficial oils, don't buy this. Read the ingredients and don't be fooled by this wolf in sheep's clothing.

I have tried several hair oils over the past year, and I must say, nothing beats this! First off; the packaging is absolutely gorgeous! So pretty! Would have been easier to dose the product if it had a pump, though. Secondly, the scent is incredible! I wish this came as a perfume... It's a warm oriental vanilla scent. Not too overpowering at all and I can smell it in my hair all day if I use this hair oil. Basically the packaging and the scent are just nice bonuses, since what's really important is how the product works. I must say it works wonders for my dry bleached scandinavian hair. I use this product when my hair is wet, damp or dry depending on what I want it to do for me. When I use it in wet hair, my hair feels so soft. When used in damp hair, it both feels soft and looks shiny. It also does a great job at preventing split ends from appearing! When used in dry hair, it really brings shine to the hair and also makes my curls look more defined. I basically love this product! I don't have many HG products, but this is definitely one of them!

love how light this oil feels. it has an absolutely amazing scent. like others have said, similar but lighter to morroccan oil. this feels a bit less greasy and i love the shine and polish on the hair without weighing it down. beautiful bottle but i hate the cap. really wish it was a pump. will definitely repurchase though!

As a hair oil nut, I have tried quite a few different ones. This as previous reviews have noted is akin to Morrocan oil. The smell is pretty much the same as is the texture of the product as well. BUT I much prefer the Orofluido over the Morrocan. The morrocan leaves me feeling like a grease ball, makes my hair look/feel limp and heavy. Also there is something about the scent is too overpowering that it gives me a headache. The Orofluido is a much nicer alternative. It is just right. It sinks right in, doesn't weigh down my hair but it does smooth down my fly always. It gives my hair a lot of shine and makes my hair so managable, but not flat. It makes my hair so incredibly silky soft. Overall I am very pleased with this, but it isn't really anything "ground breaking". It's a nice to have, but not a rush out and get this if you have something already.

I absolutely LOVE this stuff. I was skeptical to try it when i got it in my birchbox (don't remember what one) but i tried it just to get rid of it. Then that's when i fell in love. I just got my order from hautelook i got a 100ML bottle for 20 dollars plus 3 5ML samples. If you haven't tried this stuff you definately should, you won't be disappointed.

I recently received a deluxe sized sample of this and at first, was skeptical. Having tried several different brands of argan oil, I thought this was just another gimmick. However, this stuff is truly awesome! Not only does it smell wonderful but as another reviewer previously mentioned, it is an oil that instead of just sitting on top of your hair, it actually drinks it in and absorbs it. This doesn't weigh my hair down or make it feel flat at all like argan oil has in the past. I just apply a couple of drops in my palms, rub them together and apply it through the mid-length down to the ends of my hair. I usually use this on damp hair before blow drying. This tames my hair, gives me less fly aways and frizz and makes my hair feel so soft and healthy. Will definitely repurchase a full sized bottle!

Unfortunately this didn't do much for my thick, coarse, curly hair...After some good experiences with Moroccanoil I thought I might give this a try, but eventhough I was positively surprised by the scent (which I was sceptic about as I am not a big vanilla fan, but the scent is actually quite subtle and pleasant) and I also like the bottle it comes in, the effect on my hair is not convincing...It adds a bit of shine, but also makes my dark blonde hair look darker, it doesn't help manage my frizz and it somehow accentuates the coarse structure of my hair rather than making it softer...I would probably buy Moroccanoil again but have found that some cheap drugstore products actually work better for me than those expensive hair oils...

I was extremely disappointed with this oil. I have fine, dry, brittle hair and I was expecting the oil to greatly improve the condition of my hair. I also bought the Orofluido shampoo and conditioner with this.
Talk about a waste of money! I spent a small fortune on this "system" and I'm very disappointed with it, it made my hair shiny for one day, the next day, it's back to it's frizzy, dry self and not to mention the grease that goes along with it! It's lank and greasy and my hair looks weighed down, even when only a little drop is used.
I'm sorry I wasted my money and time on it, in my opinion it's not worth it at all, but now I'm stuck with it, until I get rid of it.
Be very careful before you part with your cash and don't always take you hairstylists' word for it!
Never again!

My mom got this oil, and I have a few times borrowed a little bit of it, to my split ends. And eventhough I have thin fine hair, it isn't to "thick" for me, as I had predicted.
I prefer the moroccanoil, but I like orofluido more than biosilk.
I will not buy this because I like morrocainoil much more.

HG Hair Product!
I bought this because over the summer my hair gets very dry and brittle, just very dull looking. So as this is market as an oil, and a good one, I gave it a try. Also it's much easily available and cheaper than MoroccanOil, and some reviews I read said it's even better. But to the point.
This is indeed an oil, but it's consistent, not very fluid-y. When you put it on you feel like your hair is 'drinking' it rather than just sitting there which is great. It never, ever, made my hair greasy and I've used it both with dry and damp hair, I even used and then blow dry my hair which used to be a no-no because normal hair oils fry your hair. Not this one! It made my hair dry much faster and it settles nicer. It just looks healthier.
It feel different too. My hair, no matter the amounts of conditioner or masks (which just make it greasy), never feels soft. Now it does, it feels so smooth and there are no knots what so ever.
The smell is not all that great in the bottle but once in tha hair it's actually pleasant. And it's not a strong smell, I actually only smell it when I move my head x)
The only thing I hate about this is the packaging: it's glass and it has no pump. So first of all I'm always terrified it's going to slip out of my hands but let's get real that bottle sits in my bathroom and it gets wet there, things fall! And the no pump was very annoying at first because I didn't know how much was too much, it doesn't bother me as much now but it would be nice.
I'd rather keep buying this and spend a bunch of money in multiple products :)

Out of ALL the hair oils/serums I have used , this by far is the best. I have dry fine hair and this makes it smooth, shiny , without weighing it down, its expensive but lasts a long time, as you only need a tiny bit. I don't know why others hate the smell, I thin it smells awesome, love it!!

This is hands down the BEST hair oil I have ever used. It makes my hair smooth and shiny without leaving an oily residue. The smell is rediculous amazing! It smells like sweet amber and vanilla. I use Orofluido after washing but before blowdrying. It cuts the drying time in half! Also, it's great for dry hair. I like to use a little on my dry hair just to give it a mirror-like shine and fresh smell. This oil is definitely worth the price. One bottle will last a very long time since not much is needed. My hair loves this stuff!

This is a good serum! It smells wonderful and really smooths hair! It has a thick consistency, but goes on light. I do prefer Kerastase Elixir Ultime over this. This is more of a serum, while EU is more like a treatment + serum. This is probably better for thicker hair that needs smoothing and de-frizzing. Not my favorite, but I enjoyed my sample.
